Here you'll enjoy traditional hospitality with Arabic tea and fresh flatbread. You can also take a camel ride and explore the impressive terrarium housing desert snakes and scorpions. Spend a relaxing evening outdoors under the stars while enjoying a traditional show and stunning views. Enjoy drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. You can also enjoy belly dancing and fire-eating performances by traditional Tanoura dancers and dancers from the belly dance troupe. A fantastic day/evening of culture and the beauty of the desert. Breathtaking views. The quad biking is amazing and the group of guides are very friendly and helpful. The whole day was very good value for the price paid. HIGHLY recommend!
This was my favourite day in Egypt. The staff are so friendly. I loved seeing the Saturn ring, it was special. We have family members visiting Egypt next month and we have recommended this to them. Definately check it out!
We booked as a private group of 3, 2 adults and a 14 year old. We opted to drive the quads to the village instead of going by jeep which was great fun! Bedouin village was as we expected really, lots of opportunities to sell you bracelets and herbs and you are expected to tip everyone you speak to. We were led into a building with animals inside and were then asked to pay an entrance fee! What we saw inside was heartbreaking, animals locked in tiny cages, 3 massive tortoises in a square box with nothing but shingle inside. A crocodile that was being poked with a stick, a monkey that had the tiniest cage and a very large snake in a tank that was so small the snake couldn’t move at all. I know animal welfare is different compared to the uk but anyone of any nationality could clearly see the animals living conditions are horrendous.
This was an amazing trip. The organisation was first class as was our tour guide and driver, nothing was too much trouble for them. I am not the youngest of people (72) with some slight walking disability. At the canyon in the desert they were determined I should get the walking experience and gave me every assistance in completing it. My wife experienced snorkeling for the first time again with help from our guide who stayed with her throughout the whole experience. This was great as we go to the Maldives in January and she now feels confident to do it again. I could go on praising the whole trip and staff but just to finish by saying the trip was an experience we will never forget Thank you very much Stephen and Lindsay
An incredible experience. We started with snorkeling among the vibrant coral reefs, where our guide provided fascinating insights about the marine life. After a delightful lunch, the adventure continued with an exhilarating ATV ride, followed by a camel ride that offered a unique perspective of the stunning landscape. And ended with exploring the Canyon. Overall, I highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to blend adventure with relaxation. It was an unforgettable day filled with stunning sights, engaging activities, and expert guidance.
Overall experience was good, team very welcoming and friendly and was great with our kids making them feel comfortable. Quality of quads was excellent. Bits that were disappointing - not clear on costs which need to budget for scarves and hiring goggles which could another £30 - camel ride was no more than 1 minute - beduion village seemed more like a selling exercise then experience.
As with all the excursions but you do in Hurgada, there always appears to be an extra charge. There was an extra charge for going into a tourist area. It was $1 per person. There was also charge of $5 per person to buy a head scarf to keep the dust out of your mouth and nose and also an additional $3 charge to hire the ski type goggles which keep the dust off your eyes or off your sunglasses. Trip takes roughly 3 hours. You will ride 11 kilometres take a short break and then ride the next 11 km to the Bedouin village. You then stop for a short break. Ride some camels if you wish. Look at the Bedouin gift shop. Have some tea and then return back to the start. It's a good trip but you will get very very dusty so wear some old clothes. If I were booking this trip I would go in the morning which gives you the rest of the day after you return to shower and relax by the pool. If you can purchase a headscarf before you take the trip it will be cheaper for you.
Great fun, staff were amazing would deffo recommended and come again!!!! Did the 3 hour tour as it was hot so would deffo recommended that experience as it was enough time
Great people very lovely and welcoming. Cheap prices, do not need to pay much. Very good would book again. You get a picture at the end of you for only €2. You can also get the professional picture package. Very good at teaching how to ride to quad too.
The good things: They are really committed to safety and making the ride enjoyable. Some people get upset because they don’t allow to ride unprepared or reckless people. I think they’re right on it. The dinner and the show are great. And the whole dessert experience is worthwhile. Our group guide (Hassan) was really into helping and assisting us in everything. Thing to improve: Being as serious as they are about safety, some of the guides become really aggressive when correcting someone’s behaviour The camel ride is barely testimonial, like two minutes or so, just a couple hundred of meters more would do. And my main complaint: They advertise a comfortable trip in an air conditioned autobus, but they pick you up, and take you, in a very harsh 4x4 truck all they way to the dessert and back. I don’t mind the extra adventure, what really annoys me is the deception.
This is a fantastic tour, and criminally cheap, so I highly recommend it... The transfer takes you to a large compound that does multiple tours and permutations... star gazing, BBQ etc... we booked for the sunset / Bedouin village tour. On arrival were split into English / non- English speaking groups for the safety brief and instruction on how to operate the quad. This was detailed with an emphasis on safety, and this eye to safety and competence was carried on throughout the tour, which is very refreshing. You have to buy a scarf and hire goggles, but they don't stick the arm in, so we were happy to pay the low price. As always, the photo upselling is present, as with every tour you will go on, but it's not pushy so we were inclined to buy a few of them. Once you get on your quad, you're taken as a group to ride around the compound and here is where the staff are watching to see who is capable of who needs help. Mainly, you need to be able to keep a steady gap between you and the quad in front. If you can't, the guide will move you to a different line or jump on with you. It was good to see this level of supervision and a few riders were moved around, again this is for everyone's safety. There are plenty of guides throughout the tour, including the obligatory photographer. We had 'Bashar' as our photographer and he was really funny and later posed us for some cool photos. First part is an 11km ride into into the desert. The ground is rough so be prepared for your arms to absorb a lot of vibration. It also helps to wear long trousers, or long socks, as the quad engine puts out quite a bit of heat. You should also be prepared for everything to be covered in dust, so make sure your bags are properly closed. Once you reach a half way point, you stop for some photos. The landscape is amazing and, as I mentioned, Bashar took some great photos of us. Onwards to the Bedouin village... here you can buy chilled drinks and the prices are just as they are in town, no gouging. There's the option to get on a camel, but it's only for a few minutes and just for a photo. My wife got kicked by hers a few times and the guide, Yousseff apologised, but it's beyond his control. We are invited to a tent with souvenirs. Again, there's no hard sell and the prices are very cheap. You then get served black tea and get a few minutes to climb a hill for some great shots of the area. Next is the ride home with a stop for the sunset. Nature didn't disappoint and it was great to watch the sun drop behind the mountains. You then ride back to the compound in the dusk, which was pretty cool. Once back, there are some free soft drinks and you can get some photos immediately (only $2 each) Bashar's photos were $30 and they were worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. It was professionally organised and it did exactly what was advertised.
Good trip, good organization for a democratic price. The staff is very kind full. You can go with them without any problem
The guide was very helpful he spoke in English and explained everything . You will.need glass's and a head scarf. You can purchase there if needed . Drinks are 2 euros when you stop at the first 2 places. The bread and tea you make were lovely . The boudin people are very kind and friendly people. The bikes were great fun we had a buggy. . The food was amazing. The camel ride was fun but they do pressure you to give a tip. Defo take some cash with you. The stargazing and show was fantastic Let's go there again next time Xx
Although due to illness we ended our day early, everyone was attentive to my needs as a disabled person, from arriving the guides knew my individual situation (I don't look disabled) in a crowd of over 100, I felt like an individual who counted, my needs were known and addressed. Fabulous place, fabulous people, very caring and understanding, would go back in a heartbeat. Can not rate high enough both tour and guides, excellent
Awful what we saw was disturbing and disgusting the camels were treated so awfully I advice no one do engage in animal cruelty the animals are not given any water food or shade and beaten and wiped and then killed for meat no way will I be doing this again and if you are a decent human being will not either
Very good for family lots of activities. Teens enjoyed the quad bikes and guide was very good. Would definitely recommend
We've had a really nice day. Picked up at the hotel then went to the base camp. From there we had several experiences going to bedoïn village with camel ride an explanation about the village. After it we did buggy riding and quad riding, only unfortunate thing is that this didnt go so fast. The BBQ dinner afterward was very good and we really enjoyed the shows that were given. Must do tour when youre in Hurgada
Amazing from start to finish! All staff were wonderful and ensured maximum safety at all times! A wonderful experience
Not like the description at all. On this trip more time was spent hanging about than the actual activities. From the quad base it's very far to the "beduin village" and you don't quad there, you're taken in cramped jeeps with some hair-raising driving thrown in. Once there is like a production line and you're given the shortest camel ride ever then shuffled onto watching a lady make a piece of flatbread which you try. You're then into a tent where they sell you herbal goods and jewellery before you sample a tiny tin cup of tea. It's then back into the jeep to return to the base. After this is yet more hanging around and a snack of bread jam cheese and banana. When you do finally get to go carting and biking the time is mostly spent having photos done which they then try to sell you. The max time on the buggy/quads was less than 40 minutes. The best thing about the day was the buffet. The entertainment was also diabolical. All in all the trip was very disappointing so look elsewhere as I've chatted to people who have had way better trips. I'd rather pay more
Good day out excellent value for money awesome machines, frendy staff, good instruction. Would recommend it to anyone
Very organised, had fun throughout. Bread tasting at Bedouin village, was offered tea too and the day ended with bbq dinner and show. Thank you for the experience!
The tour was okay, they are very safety conscious which is good and they're a good laugh. However the quads are not the quickest and you take the tour as part of a very large group, which pretty much guarantees you will have some nervous riders, so if you are someone who want to ride quads for some adrenaline and excitement, I would recommend you spend a little extra and get a private tour where you can drift and ride quick and get more out of it. We made the most of it, but I wish I'd booked a private tour with the rep from our hotel.
I booked this trip for myself and my friend, we were picked up 20 minutes late, we were told the guide would arrive at 1:40 pm, but the person didn't arrive until past 2 pm. We got to the quad bike centre, and got on the bike, the next minute, I was told someone had to join me, which I agreed, however, it was a little boy, who took over the ride from the start till the end, speeding without caring for my safety. The journey was too long, the roads were bumpy and rocky, and the rider with me was touching my lap while speeding. When we arrived at the dessert, I told the guy in charge I was scared for my life and no safety precautions were observed on the ride down, he agreed to get someone else to ride with me. On the way back, I rode the bike myself, and someone else joined my friend on her ride. However, they returned to let us know we had to rush back and pick up speed. My friend had an accident with the bike, rolled over with the bike due to the speed they enforced, lost her sense of consciousness and bruised herself. When she got better, she informed me that the guy who rode with her while he sat behind her tried to touch her inappropriately. We were both harassed by the local boys on this trip, they had no care for the safety of the riders, the speed was too much, and we were told we should be grateful she didn't lose her legs after the accident. Stay away from this company.
Well organised , fun activities Would like to have been pre warned about taking plenty of cash for extras like drinks , and the extra cash needed in the bedouin village , and tips etc.. But overall a good day for a mum and teenage son . Would use again
Everything was perfect and the sightseeing was amazing. The organisers did a really good job and they were very nice and helped us with all the requests.
Wonderful we loved everything there Incroyable and i hope i will return back I recommanded too People should know about this
They simply didn't pick me up. Avoid this company. The experience was very disappointing, they destroyed my plans for weekend.
I cannot recommend FTS Travel enough from start to finish, friendly, punctual, good communication, and always with a smile. We did enjoy the Safari trip Mustafà and his team were so polite and helpul. Thank you so much we can't wait to come back again! Egypt is beautiful ❤️
We booked this experience with FTS Travels and we really enjoyed everything, from the phone support for scheduling the activity to the activity itself! We had a lot of fun driving the quad (one each), and the buggy (one per couple). Beside that, our guide took us a lot of nice pictures :) I truly recommend it and we'd definitely do it again!
I can only recommend this tour! It was lots of fun, this whole trip was perfect and unforgettable thanks to the good organization and the friendly, humorous, knowledgeable tour guides.
A fantastic, well organised and all around great experience. Would definitely go back again. We were looked after very well by our guides and the whole family enjoyed every part of the experience.
This was an appalling experience and did not fit the description at all. We had less than 10mins on the quad bikes, following in a line very slowly. The quads were overheating and all but burnt our inner shins. The buggies we had slightly longer, maybe 15 mins tops, but again very slowly followed a long line of other people and we had to have 2-3 people per buggy not one each. The description states we would go across the desert to a Bedouin village on one of these vehicles but we were rammed into a mini bus that drove us there. This was the last day of Egypt trip and left us very disappointed because we had wasted the whole day on this. In addition, they changed the time of the trip which meant our onward plans were disrupted, the tour operator were very slow to respond to my attempts to communicate with them and very unhelpful when I asked specifically for help. I would not recommend this trip, use an alternative tour operator and check exactly what you get before booking; because this has the potential to be an amazing experience. This is not about the money, it was was such a waste of a day.
Excellent value for money. All the activities were really good a fun packed day with good guides. My daughter felt unwell with the heat so opted out of 1 activity and they looked after her very well
Great service. We were picked up on time by a friendly driver and dropped off at the ATV centre and on our return he was ready waiting to collect us.
This was such an amazing experience. Loved every moment of it, the quad & camel both brilliant. Looking forward to doing it again it was so much fun. Couldn’t believe how much I enjoyed the camel ride too as I’m short than average female but I totally loved it!
Wonderful adventurous day out. We did quad biking, beach buggy driving, had a BBQ, did camel riding, saw a fire dancing show, visited a Bedouin village and had a jeep safari ride in the dessert. Very friendly staff and so much fun.
A great trip from start to finish, very informative with pick up times and location. The guide explained everything well and such good value for money. The quad biking was so much fun, and an experience in the dark! We even got to stargaze and see a shooting star, highly recommend
Sea is beautiful ,prices are cheaper and hotels are good Sea is beautiful ,prices are cheaper and hotels are good And we were joint great and cheaper day and evening activities
We had a great day out and a cracking laugh with the guides. They were all very helpful. Unfortunately the meal was rotten lol. At £30 for two. We can’t complain 👍😁👍
Driving a car or riding a camel in the desert are both unique and exhilarating experiences. Driving a car provides the thrill of speed and freedom, while riding a camel allows for a deeper immersion into the tranquility and primal beauty of the desert. Both offer opportunities to feel the vastness and mystery of the desert, each providing its own set of sensations and memories.
What a day! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Hurghada. Really interesting to learn about the life in the Bedouin village, taste their own made bread and ride a camel. Quad and buggy rides were brilliant. All staff are very friendly and know how to look after you. Please take some cash with you on the day (Euro/Dollar preferably) as some of the souvenirs (which are absolutely stunning and exclusive!) and their own made medicine can be a bit costly (some are costing 25-30 eur) and you can pay cash only. Big thanks to the tour organisers and the host (Goes by the nickname of Morgan Freeman) and also the driver - amazing people!
Fantastic trip with professional guides. Don't worry if you are a rookie, guides will help with everything. Highly recommend!
Thank you so much that incredible advanture, the people who works there are very kindyl ,smileface. Atv times were very long and includes Camel trip and transders from your hotel, thank you so much, love to Egypt, Shukran 🤍
Everything was perfect! Amazing. Morgan freeman( asim) was helpful. dinner was good. quad was amazing thank you for everything. everything was unbelieveable
We had a lot of fun, in the beginning we thought it would be hard to drive the quad but in the end it was fine. We enjoyed a lot, thanks for the team 💙
Really good had so much fun / my group was called Morgan, the instructor was really good. The trip was 10/10 i would recommend
everything was perfect, when we see the bus and sat there we realiez that it will be a nice trip and it was beyond my expectations. We came to the area and the place was really cute, then they took us to the bedevian village with buses and the trip was sooo fun!! climbing to the rocks and jumping along the road was amazing. we had tea there and rode camel. it was great. All equip was great but our guide Asim (Hasim) was really wise and explained everything well, then we had Buggy tour and it was very good. after that we did Quad Tour, it was really enjoyable! then we came back to the place and ate open buffet dinner. it was good, we watched some traditional egyptian show and they brought us back to the hotel. 5/5 experience, recommend it to everyone
The trip was great from start to finish. Sambo my quad guide was amazing & took some brilliant photos & videos for me while we raced across the desert at high speed. The camel ride was interesting & fun when the camel was made to gallop a bit. The buggy tour was equally as fun & I got a great video from that as well. Pick up was slightly late but we still managed to get to the location in plenty of time. Great value for money & a great adrenaline rush.
It was a great experience! First we went with the buggy and later with the quad. The view was amazing and all l the people were nice and helpful.
