Hurghada To Cairo: Pyramids And Optional Museum By Bus

Absolutely cooking in the height of the day. Absolutely cereal to see these beautiful works of art in reality. Would highly recommend. We had a tour guide named 'Amean?' Probably spelt wrong, my apologies. Take plenty of water, sunscreen and a nice tip for your tour guide at the end. Downside........the poor animals! It is very rare to find a horse or camel in a really good condition. Found it very upsetting, being horse owners ourselves. But this is a MUST SEE!

The English speaking tour guide wasn't exactly English speaking and didn't give us any fact or information about the pyramid's, when he did have something to say he read off his phone to one person in the group and not addressing everyone with the information. There was ment to be the opportunity of entering a pyramid but the guide never offered us this experience and when we were in the museum he just wanted to rush us round and not let us stop and look. This was ment to be a once in a life time trip for myself and my children and we didn't learn anything or even get the whole experience.

We have such an amazing day and it was due to Mo being so helpful. He made us feel safe and taught us a lot of interesting facts. Its a must book!

I recommend FTS 100%, the transfer from Hurghada to Cairo is tiring but that cannot be changed, the drivers Ahmed and Muhammed were very friendly and no unnecessary stops, only the safety legal ones and the breaks, driving fast but safe. Other than that we felt safe all the time and was taken care of. Our guide Sheriff we met in Cairo he is a friendly person, very knowledgeable, kind and with a great influence and shown respect. For the price paid we had amazing trip, well worth, with water, snacks, and a meal at a great tasty restaurant, enough time to see the main points in the GEM, pyramids and learn some of the local customs. I could write more but long story short, I will use FTS again, thank you Ahmed, Muhammed and Sheriff.

Late review, but this trip has been one of the best trips of our life. An unforgettable experience for both me and my partner. Rough journey from Hurghada, but this was already expected. Our tour guide was amazing and very patient. His jokes were great too 😂

Very long drive but was expected Nit enough time really at any one place Would have missed out the papyrus and spice shops spent more time else where Food was good

The most breath taking experience I’ve had up to date. Yes of course be aware when in Cairo city and the pyramids as busy on weekends, that said loving welcoming people. The Grand Cairo museum was something I couldn’t quite take in, the history and grand majesty of the place has dwarfed anything I’ve seen in my god given life. Thank you and shukran Cairo, until next time. Highly recommend it should be on your bucket list!

Very good experience. We drive from Hurghada to Kairo with the Transfer from our Hotel and back- with no problems. The sightseeing was great and beautiful. If i come to the pyramids again, i will book my trip by Hani and FTS. Greetings.

The trip itself was very nice, and I am giving one star less only because of the transportation. The tour started at 1:40 a.m. After about 20 minutes, we stopped to form a convoy with vehicles from multiple travel agencies (around 25 buses, vans, and cars). This process took approximately 1.5 hours, and we finally departed at 3:30 a.m. One of the guides explained that vehicles are required to travel in a convoy for security reasons and that departure depends on police approval. Unfortunately, the van was quite uncomfortable. We arrived at the Grand Museum at 9:15 a.m. Aside from the transportation issues, the tour itself was excellent, and we really liked the tour guide. The return journey was smooth, and we arrived back at the hotel at 10:30 p.m. I noticed that some travelers complain about high prices at the restaurants during the stops. While prices may be slightly higher, there are very few places to stop during the 5–6 hour drive, and it seems that convoys are only allowed to stop at designated locations.

It was a great adventure, the guide was extremely friendly, we've learned some interesting stories, and walked a lot(was good). The lunch was nice and tasty, monuments were legendary - everything was perfect, highly recommend!

Great day my guide was a spot on really nice bloke being i was on my own and my bus was full of people who didnt speak english im glad i booked he didnt try rush me as was on set times due to long travel times lunch was really nice and i also enjoyed the visit to the papyrus shop by the end of the day my feet was in bits so he took me a local shop where i could chill and have a direct view of the pyramids was a great day well worth £53 with entry fees

Excellent trip. We opted for the small group. Journey did take around 7 hours to get there including stops. Once we arrived we had our own translator guide who was brilliant and very professional! Lunch was a buffet with plenty of options. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to the comfort of the vehicle, we had no sleep and it was a very tiring day, but very professional and brilliant guide and drivers.

A few hours before being picked up the tour operator contact us saying that had booked the old museum which there was now nothing in and it would be 30 euro each to upgrade to the new one bearingin mind this had been booked and payed for for weeks . Couldn't cancel as the cancellation time was 24 hours so we would not get a refund so we had no choice. Then while on the trip you get rail roaded to a boat trip on the nile says optional but its not. Then between what you have booked you get taken to a perfume shop and papyrus shop and hounded to buy these products all not quoted when bookin. Sights where amazing but as for company never again!!!

Our guide Aya and driver in Cairo were amazing We went to the pyramids and the grand egypcian museum As well, We went to the papyrus and perfum stores We had an amazing buffet lunch We really enjoyed it... more than recomended

Akmed was phenomenal his knowledge was world class and made us feel welcomed and got some great photos of us as well as advising us the best places to get souvenirs without over paying

Informative tour guide, and no pressure to buy any extras. Great description of the pyramid history and gave a good amount of time to look around. Only niggle is for a person my height 6ft the bus ride can be a bit rough as it is only a small mini bus with limited leg room.

Tharwat was absolutely brilliant from the minute he stepped on the minibus to the moment he left us. Welcoming, good sense of humour, knowledgeable and very good at his job, which he clearly enjoys. Shows he cares about the people he’s touring with and wants them to have the best experience possible. Contains great advise on how to avoid being scammed. Nice guide, lots of jokes and fun, so that was nice to fill the full day!! We had some waiting sometimes, but that's the thing in going in a group of course. But that did not spoil the trip, so definitely a nice guy to keep :)

Sherif was a great guide. Very informative took us to other places like the oils and herbs other than just the the pyramid”s and the restaurant which was included in the tour had a lovely selection on the buffet all in all good tour he’s very well recommended. Will be using him for future tours.
