Hurghada City Tour — Marina, Old Town, Mosque & Museum

I do not like complaining and am in no way looking for a refund The main point is there was part of the group who had food organised, we were not offered this in our package so we had to go and sit in a cafe for 40 minutes while 3 of the group had food It was also supposed to be a 4 hour trip, so with transfers I would say 5 - 5 and a half hours maximum We arrived back at our hotel at approximately 16:45 which was then a 7.45 hour trip, missed lunch at the hotel There was a time we were waiting for the other two groups to complete their reviews, this can be done any time but would of wasted 20/25 minutes

Great introduction to Hurgarda. Hisham was a fabulous host and really knowledgeable. Asam our driver was prompt and very efficient. A great day out and value for money!!

​If you want to step away from the resorts and see the authentic side of the city, I highly recommend this afternoon tour. Our guide, Amgad, was absolutely awesome—knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. ​We were picked up in a very nice car with a great driver, which made the transit through the city comfortable and easy. It was a wonderful way to get a feel for the local culture, markets and the highlights of Hurghada in just a few hours.

Hisham Abbas was a lovely guide and he showed us a lot of places and gave us a lot of information. We tried Koshari, we went to the vegetable market, have mango ice cream

Hirsham was so amazing, gentle and he explained everything so well to us! he also bought for us falafel and a typical sweet in Egypt, everything was perfect.

Our tour guide was Amagad and the driver Mohammed. Both were very accommodating, and it was a stress free trip. Amagad was very helpful in taking us to the currency exchange and asking for our opinions on what we would like to see next. Mohammed was a very polite and attentive driver, the car was very comfortable. This was a very relaxing excursion.

Ragab was very nice to us. Love the fact that they keep giving you free water in the van. You need to pay extra 10€ to get across the Nile river.

The Tour was very good. Our Tourguide Amgad was very funny and very handsome. Such an Amazing Tourguide for a Trip like this. Our Highlights was the Mosque and the Fruits at the Market. The only thing we didnt liked that much was the Shopping at the end. But we still recommend the Tour. It was Nice to See how the egyptian people live and it was a Reality Check between the Hotel Live and the Real Life in Hurghada.

Our tour was even better than expected. The tour guide named Amgad was funny and giving us all useful information. The tour had 5 stops: marina, mosque, cathedral, fish market, food market. We also did some shopping at the end in an Egyptian bazar with fixed prices. During the food market we even tasted some bread and a fresh mango, super delicious. We also had a drink during our tour

Our tour guide was very informative and we learnt a lot about hurghada and its history . We Also went to the museum which was very good

He shared interesting facts about the local culture, history, and daily life in Hurghada, and answered all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. Fantastic trip. Learned lots about the culture as opposed to spending a week in an all inclusive resort knowing nothing about the place I’m visiting. Our guide Islam. And driver Ishak (I’ve probably spelt them both wrong!) were great fun and very informative and friendly. Really made the trip a pleasure. Glad we did it and would recommend to anyone!!

Hurghada city tour morning. The tour was a couple of hours longer than planned. I personally would have liked some free time at the marina to look around properly as we only saw a small part and had a drink then moved on. Probably spent a bit too long at the boat yard too. Also at the end I expected an actual market in the old town but instead it was one shop. If those two things were changed then it's great. The guide himself was good. Just the itinerary needs some tweaking.

The guided tour exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide, Mr. Ash Abbas, was amazing! He spoke English very well and explained every location in detail. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all the questions we had. We learned a lot about Hurghada, Egypt, its culture, history, and religion. We visited the mosque, marina, and various local markets. He knew many people and even brought us typical local food—falafel. We drove and walked through different parts of the city, getting a glimpse of how people live every day. I would definitely recommend this trip. I loved it! Thanks!☺️

Basic points of the city in a running itinerary and with exchange of tourist guide twice. The second guide was quieter and better professional!

Guided tour with guide and shopping: The driver Ibrahim was very friendly and a safe driver. The hotel pickup in Makadi Bay worked great and was on time. Our guide Ashraf joined us in Hurghada. He spoke good German, gave a lot of information and answered every question. There was a bottle of water for everyone. We visited the port, fish market, mosque, church, market hall (fruit, & vegetables, pet trade, bakery) and state department store with stay for shopping. There, the prices are signposted and a "over the ear" is not possible. All around a good trip with lots of information. Value for money fits well.

Ashraf our guide was very nice and helpful we have seen a lot of Hurghada including the big mosque and the fish market and much more. Ashraf explained a lot and took his time. For the money a truly unique experience!

It was an interesting excursion to get to know more about the culture. The part of shopping could be on streets and not in pre-determined stores, the experience would be richer

It was a really great trip. We were six people in total. So a small group. Of course, you can get much more information and ask questions if necessary. Our guide showed us a lot, told us a lot and also gave us important information in case we should ever be on our own. The organization of Get Your Guide in advance is really outstanding. We were able to collect many exciting impressions. We booked the tour in the afternoon. It was very relaxed and probably because it is not yet high season, not countless tourists were on site. We visited the port of Hurghada, the Mosque of Hurghada (which you can only enter as a woman if you rent the appropriate clothing for one euro), the fish market, the poultry and fruit market and a shopping center. Here you can really make enormous bargains. We can only recommend this trip and wish all interested a lot of fun and a big thank you to Get Your Guide and our guide.

We had a great guided tour with Yasser (nice meeting and speaks very good French) , which I recommend with my eyes closed! He is very kind, passionate, professional and above all, he explains everything clearly and very interestingly. The tour began with the colourful and fragrant fruit market, where he showed us plenty of local produce. Then we visited a church and then a mosque, where Yasser took the time to explain religious differences in Egypt with great respect and pedagogy. We then went to the marina, very nice to walk, then to the fish market, a real immersion in local life. The visit continued in an oriental pharmacy, where he explained the benefits of natural products without any pressure to buy. And finally, we ended up with a souvenir shop with fixed prices – super convenient, and again, no pressure to buy, which is really appreciable! Yasser knew how to make this visit lively, interesting and very human. He answered all our questions with patience and humor. Thanks to him, we discovered Hurghada differently, with a real local look. Thanks again Yasser! A great time.

We visited Hurghada with Yasser, guide speaking very good French. Visit to the fruit and vegetable market, meat and fish market. We also visited a mosque, a church to finish on the Marina of Hurghada.
