Around 4am you will be picked up from your hotel. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by your guide who will accompany you throughout the tour.

The further course of the excursion takes you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The tour of the pyramids ends at the Sphinx and the temple surrounding it. At the end of the day, if time permits, you will have the opportunity to go shopping before embarking on the return journey to Hurghada.
If the return flight from Cairo is late in the evening, we will spend some time visiting the London of the Middle Ages (Khan el Klalili market), Old Cairo, recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage list, or Cairo Festival City, an extra-large shopping mall (air-conditioned), one of the largest in the Middle East. Full of the most famous international brands, restaurants, cafes and a huge colorful dancing fountain, where you will be drawn to Cairo's chic, modern nightlife.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in an air-conditioned car.
If we have time, we can make two characteristic visits to the Papyrus Museum and the Essential Oil Factory. These two attractions will familiarize you with the ancient Egyptian techniques of making papyrus and essences. These two interesting visits will increase your knowledge of daily life in ancient Egypt and will also be helpful to the Egyptian farmers who work in these sectors and preserve these very old handicrafts from ancient Egypt. (These visits depend on the time remaining.)
Afterwards, your mind needs some rest. You can, for example, relax with a boat trip on the Nile and discover Cairo from the water.

Amazing experience. Reem was the perfect guide, very knowledgable and very attentive. The pick up from the hotel was smooth, the check in at the airport was quick and finding the guide in Cairo was easy. The day is long with lots of walking but seeing all of the sights is worth it. The buffet doesn’t have a massive selection and is not ideal for picky eaters. There are not many opportunities for food so I would recommend bringing snacks.

Very rude and unprofessional. I ensured I spoke to someone before making my booking 2 months prior to ensure the timing and activities worked for me and my party. Less than a week before the excursion, the team requested I change the date. I moved other activities to accommodate this. Less than 24 hours before the excursion, I found out they had changed my booking timing and didn’t inform me. When I asked if I can get my original time slot that I requested and paid for, AHMED said I asked too many questions and cancelled my booking. My mother is elderly and disabled which they were aware of. I would not recommend this company at all. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

Everything went as planned, the transport, the flights etc.The guide Falcon was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable and gave us just the right amount of information for us to be able to understand the pyramids and the history of the ancient kings and queens, and the gods of ancient Egypt. The lunch had something for everyone. I would highly recommend this trip with Falcon and The Book Tours.

I booked this trip ( private tour) via email two weeks in advance . They are doing things differently than Europe or USA : I had to pay through a link I received on WhatsApp the full amount instead of a deposit, which made me a bit anxious. I got the confirmation email and afterwards I didn’t heard from them until the day before the excursion. We were picked up from the resort at the right time by a cool guy , some relative of Bob Marley 😉. We flew with air Cairo, nice , clean , new aircraft. In Cairo we met our guide, Jimmy, the best egiptolog gide possible : very humble, friendly, calm , polite , I don’t have enough words to describe how happy we were with this gentleman !!!! The driver of the minivan a very friendly, polite , fine young man! The car was an older model but the atmosphere inside was so nice . Thank you guys !!!. (We had cool water in the car ). Jimmy organized our time in Cairo very well, he didn’t rush us, he was clear in his presentation, just excellent! We eat in a buffet restaurant, the egyptian cuisine was a great experience offering flavors different from our European habits. When everything came to an end, before heading to the airport we stopped to Cairo Festival Mall for some groceries from Carrefour. I must say, we enjoyed so much this trip , I recommend 10/10 for the experience and also for the price, it was the best price among all agencies I contacted ( as a family of five we saved 500 € with BTE 😉).
Booked this excursion with my wife and daughter. No reply from tour operator for days m. But much info given. Mis information given Viator agents, after waiting for over 3 and half hours for pick up and speaking with 3/4 agents who kept telling us to wait no one turned up then they cancelled the excursion we paid over £600. Wasted a whole day of our holiday and was offered a pathetic 10% as compensation absolutely disgusting from your operator and Viator

Excellent tour with and knowledgable guide, Ahmed, who was able to keep us to a busy schedule and engaged throughout. Highlight was the GEM, where Ahmed walked us through towards the end of the day and explained in great detail the history and context of the artefacts. Highly recommend
Samen was the best! We had a primate tour whole day. He was really patient, know a lit about the history and is relaxed. So we did feel relaxed as well, learned a lot and had a perfect day!

What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Admission fees were included in the price but extra for Camel rides & entry into Pyramids. It was a very long day but worth every penny. Visiting the Pyramids was something we have always wanted to do, and it did not disappoint. They are something else. If you get the chance, go! You won't regret it. We flew as the bus trip takes way too long. This trip by flight started at 0430 for us, and we got back at 2330, so still a very long day. I would not advise taking younger children, even when flying. Our guide 'Jimmy' ( Jamal) was a fountain of knowledge and was so much fun as well. He gave good advice as well. For example you can pay to go into one of the larger pyramids but he advised trying the gallery in the queens pyramid first as it is free and shorter. He was right, most of the people on the tour found they could not have completed the bigger gallery and would have wasted their money. When you are at the pyramids or the sphinx don' let any of the locals take your phone to take your picture as they want money to give you your phone back. We took the horse and buggy ride to the viewpoint recommended to take he best pictures, but you can take a camel if you want. This is extra but you can get good pictures. After lunch in a nice Giza hotel we had 3 hours plus in the new museum. I think I could have spent three weeks there. It is amazing, and again our guide knew everything about it. The mask of Tutankhamen ids a must but there is so much more to see. After the museum we had the chance to take a boat trip on the Nile in Cairo, for an extra charge. This was a really nice way to finish the day. Just to mention you do go right through the middle of Cairo on this trip, and that in itself is an eye opener. You might think you have seen crazy driving ( Italy, Türkiye, etc) but believe me they are nothing on Cairo. When you are being held up on a 16 lane motorway by two old ladies walking up the road in front of you while motorbikes come down the road in the wrong direction you realise this place is special. This is not a cheap excursion, the day is long but I really can recommend it.
Absolutely fantastic Cairo excursion from Hurghada! ✨ The early-morning flight was well worth it to visit the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum. We finished the day with a beautiful sunset river ride along the Nile. A special mention to our tour guide, Mr Falcon, who was brilliant, extremely knowledgeable and made the whole experience even more enjoyable by bringing Egypt’s incredible history to life. Excellent, apart from the trip to a very dodgy establishment run by men who tried desperately to sell us oils in a not to pleasant manner. We were promised 3 bottles of water, only received 2, went for lunch (inclusive) but was charged 3€ for a bottle of water.That was in Cairo.
This was a great excursion and Mr Falcon was amazing!! Definitely worth getting the flights over the bus as there was a lot to fit into the day and we didn’t feel rushed doing anything!

Mr Falcon was an amazing tour guide and was very good at insuring we received all the information for everything throughout the day. It’s rather fast paced however enough time to see the main things. Very hot so ensure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Overall amazing experiences. Options to do extras that come at an extra cost however are definitely worth it. 5 stars.

We had an excellent tour with our guide, Sam, who took us around the Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Sam was brilliant throughout the whole experience. He explained everything clearly in English and was very knowledgeable and friendly. The children really enjoyed the tour too, which made the experience even better. We would definitely recommend Sam to anyone visiting Egypt!

Anyone who is looking to see the Pyramids,you have to book the flight to Cairo tour. From the pick up to meeting the guide was faultless. Sam our guide was fantastic & was very knowledgeable. The small group was just the right size & we were looked after really well,and no one was left behind. We got conned into a camel ride & having photos at the pyramids from the Camel owners at the site ,but our guide Sam went to see the big boss of the Camel owners & got us our money back we overpaid. Overall this is a fantastic tour & well worth the money.

We had a great expierience with both Adel and Benedetto. we had the occasion to see so many wonderful things and they guided us wonderfully through out the whole day. The price- experience range was perfect you get everything for not a high price. The atmosphere qas amazing and we had a lot more fun. Probably the best day spent in Egypt! Ibrahim was amazing and everything was super organised! We had plenty of time to see everthing and take photos. Also Ibrahim explained Egypts history very nicely taking us through a whole day of knolwdge and adventure. 100% would recommend!!

Overall the Cairo/Giza day trip experience was very good. It would have helped had I had a little more clarity regarding who my actual group was going to be at the outset. Also it has to be said that it’s a very long day indeed and it pays to get some quality sleep before(!) The guide was excellent.

We took a day trip from Hurghada to Cairo by flight to visit the pyramids and the museum and the experience was excellent from start to finish. We were picked up on time, everything was very well organized, and our tour guide Sholah explained everything clearly and made the day enjoyable. Our driver, Medhat, was also very professional.
