Itinerary
The Valley of The Kings, where, the magnificent tombs discovered, those tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs. One of the most remarkable archaeological destinations in the world, the valley is known to contain 63 tombs and chambers ranging in size from a simple pit to a complex tomb with over 120 chambers. It was widely believed that the Valley of the Kings had given up all its secrets and that all the tombs had been found throughout the thousands of years since their construction, however, Howard Carter's find of king Tutankhamen's tomb in 1922 proves that there may still be tombs waiting to be found.
The famous Temples of Karnak, the largest place of worship that was ever built. Its ancient name Ipet-isut means “the most sacred of places.” The temple, or, more correctly, the complex of temples, was built more than two thousand years ago by generation after generation of pharaohs. Within the complex, the great “Hypostyle Hall” is an incredible forest of giant pillars
Before leaving the west bank you will see the colossi of Memnon, listen to the story of these 2 statues and to know how they have stood in the Theban necropolis For the past 3400 years, moreover, you will have the chance to take a memorable picture there
The funeral temple of Queen Hatshepsut the only female pharaoh rises out this beautiful temple which is different to many other ancient Egyptian temples with its lengthy terraces split over 3 levels. It's also called "temple of Al Dier El Bahari". Your tour guide will detail this magnificent temples history, including why it's so historically and architecturally important.

never turned up. Never answered any questions and still has not given any response. not even and apology.
Moussa (Moises for us) is an incredibly guide, one of the most friendly person that we found in the whole Egypt. Highly reccommended.
Another great trip to Luxor. Small group 6 people. Arrived on time to pick us up. Guide very knowledgeable and friendly. Been before but saw different things this time. Banana island worth a trip. Food good. Great day out. Also booked airport transfers arrived on time both ways, again helpful and friendly.
Amazing treasures I will always cherish seeing, such a great experience living a bit of History. Didn’t need the added on trip to the alabaster factory or the Monkey Island trip which was just a way of the rep making money
Had a really packed day. The was very good explained everything in detail. We'll worth the money. Its very hot there so plenty of water and sun screen.
The tour was well organised and owr repersentive mahmoud nafea is without doubt is one of the very best in the business 5 star excellent day
We went to to The Valley of the kings and it was great especially with my tour guide mahmoud overall I would definitely recommend
Another fabulous trip with this excellent very professional company. Luxor from Hurghada. long journey approx 4,5 hours, but worth it. Our guide Mahmoud, spoke English very well, was so knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and very professional. the whole day was excellent. The boat trip on the Nile is extra, £20 each but worth it, so peaceful. Temples of Karnak, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon are all amazing places to visit. Lunch overlooking the Nile was good. Remember to take hats, water and snacks its a long day.
We did a day-trip tour to Luxor with our 2 yo son. Everything was just great! The tour was very well organised, timely managed and went smooth. The tour guide Mahmood was super nice, very knowledgeable and passioned for history. Overall, it was amazing!!! Highly recommended!
Small group tour turned out to be just us ! We got a personal driver Moses and a personal guide Hany. He was just one if the best most knowledgeable people . Ok long drive to Luxor from Hurghada but so worth it. Karnak, a Nile boat trip, the Collosi of Memnon, the Temple of Hatshetsup and the Valley of the Kings all in one day. Well recommended even if there are a few more people.
Having been to Egypt 8 times I feel I can leave a fair review. Luxor is AMAZING, full of history, amazing views and a very safe feel. In contrast to this is your guide will leave you to fend off the local sellers, which half of the time makes you feel like you're running a gauntlet - really the guide should look after you a bit more with these sellers as it's clear that you don't want it. Overall though it was a superb day. Take lots of $1 notes for the local men who work in the temples.
Our family were the only ones on the tour and were driven by car. The drive was about 3hrs 45mins with a 15min break. The journey takes you through the mountains and along the road of the river nile. We met our tour guide in Luxor. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time to explore the sights, Only drawback for me (though maybe not for others) was visiting a papyrus shop and pottery making shop, though we found out about making paper the main purpose for the visits was to buy their souveniers and the papyrus shop were very pushy (even though we did buy a small item) to buy more. There is an option to take a boat trip on the Nile, which was lovely, though this is approxiamately £12 extra each but worth it. The restaurant for lunch was hosted by friendly staff but the food was average. Though lunch is included, beverages in the restaurant are not but are very cheap (approx 70p for tea and coffee). Water is supplied on the trip but only once you get to Luxor so be sure to take plenty of water for the journey there and back. Overall this was a fantastic trip and would certainly recommend.
We had an day trip in Luxor to see the tempels and tombs of vally of the kings and Mahmoud was our guide and we could not hav hade a better guide! We had an wounderfull day in good hands watching beautifull sights! 👍👍👍
Luxor and everything we saw were amazing but THE TOUR GUIDE WAS AWFUL HE DID NOT tell us any history he only tried to rip us of. We got to Luxor and the first thing he did was try to sell us some souvenirs that he got from his buddy. Then he "gave us option" to "upgrade" our lunch when we said no he tried to give us cheaper option and he was pushing us to do it. Obviously he wanted us to pay cash... At the end we did not give him tip since we thought he doe snot deserve it as he did not even do his job and he was complaining and upset. What a man
We had a great day visiting Luxor in the company of Mahmoud. He was very friendly, good with our children and informative. Everyone has to make a living and we were offered the ‘opportunity’ to by a cartouche, papyrus, alabaster and photos of the valley of the kings. There was no hard sell, so it was no big deal but it is worth being prepared to say no to all these things. Karnak etc are truly amazing so the negatives are very minor. Thank you for a memorable day.
We just returned from a small-group tour to Luxor from Hurghada. We have two children ages 6 and 12. Despite signing up for the group tour, we ended up getting picked up in a private car and having a private tour. Upon arrival in Luxor, we met our tour guide Summer. She was great - very knowledgeable and accommodating with our kids. She made sure to find shade whenever possible and give the kids a break along the way. She also was very protective of us and made sure one of the local vendors didn’t rip us off when buying a bottle of water. Despite being a long day, we all tremendously enjoyed the tour.
Excellent flexible tour in Luxor, tons of knowledge shared,we were able to amend little things along the way according to our preferences on the day - such as eating our food on the Nile. The lunch included was really good, but came with a LOT of food, we certainly couldn't eat it all.Our guide was warm and friendly, with excellent english. The car that picked us up from Hurghada where we were staying was clean and comfortable and the driver was lovely and extremely polite. We were well taken care of on this tour and learnt so much.Highly recommended tour, well worth a visit to the Valley of the Kings and the Temples.
I can’t wait to come back and see more with you! We booked the private Hurghada to Luxor tour, when I saw the pick up time I was dreading it (4am)... However, the quality of the vehicle and the driver quickly started to make my fears and apprehension dissolve. Upon our arrival we met our tour guide, Mido. Mido is so knowledgeable and friendly we had an amazing time. From the onset Mido was friendly and approachable- no question was a stupid question and he had the answers at his fingertips. I wanted to buy some gifts for family and friends and Mido and the driver fitted in the time during the tour to do this. The buffet lunch on the banks of the Nile was good too- lovely baklava! I can’t recommend this tour enough- despite not experiencing the other guides I can highly recommend asking for Mido as I couldn’t fault him! Definitely pay the extra for the Tomb of the Golden Boy King (Tutankhamun)! Outstanding value compared to Thomas Cook prices for same tour (£80 cheaper for both of us and a personal guide) I would recommend Sharm Wonders and would use them again when visiting Egypt

Was a great experience. The hostoric sites are magnifiscent. Highly recommended.

We had a great day at Luxor thanks to Sharm Wonders and Mahmoud Nafee. We were picked up at our hotel by a nice car and had a comfortable drive to Luxor. There we met Mahmoud, our guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable about the sights at Luxor and very friendly. If we wanted to do something that wasn't in the program that was also possible.

Very good trip. We saw a lot and learned a lot. Great guide.

This was the best trip that we went on. Our guide Hani was fantastic and so knowledgeable.
He made the trip very enjoyable even when it was over 40 degrees.

The excursion went as we expected, we enjoyed and visited the Valley of the Kings, and we enjoyed our guide. Thank you very much.
Thanks to Moussa for his professionalism and kindness. This trip was a surprise for my parents and they loved it.
Ea war eine sehr schreckliche Erfahrung. 1.
The organization of the tour was great, everything worked out. The mentioned pick-up times have fit, Our driver was very brisk, but I always had a safe feeling with him. Our guide in Luxor has been able to tell us many interesting things and knew an answer to every question. In addition, he spoke in a very good English, so there were no communication problems. The places visited in Luxor are well chosen and really interesting. This trip is worthwhile despite the relatively long drive and is definitely recommended.
We asked Amr, the friendly driver of our transfer from the airport to the hotel, spontaneously about a trip to Luxor, and of course he meant that his company or he organizes and carries out this. So we negotiated with the boss via WhatsApp, briefly considered, booked and then left a few days later with our two children (and of course as we wanted - with Amr) for this day trip. And it was a very good trip. A minibus (15 seats!) just for us, a reliable and punctual driver, plus a German-speaking guide who could even reach our children pedagogically and inspire them in the heat partly for history, and of course an excellent buffet with typical Egyptian food for lunch. Part of it, too. As a small group we had the advantage of being able to determine the process ourselves, i.e. no obligatory visit to an alabaster factory with a sales character, instead a boat trip on the Nile including a visit to a plantation. The latter costs extra, but after the great heat this was balm for body & soul, we could regenerate very well before the long drive home, I can highly recommend this if children are there! Driver and guide were perfectly matched, there were never waiting times or delays, everything went according to our wishes and without any hassle. Only the return trip had it in it, because of a sandstorm the road was closed for several hours, force majeure. The police ultimately returned all the buses in the convoy through the desert in the middle of the night. No problem for our driver and enough space in the minibus for the children to sleep. I can fully recommend this trip. And thank's Amr for your company and your help!
