From Hurghada: Orange Bay Snorkeling Trip With Lunch

Amazing, crew on boat was super friendly, giving clear instructions, even doing magic tricks to entertain us. They helped us with snorkeling, my friend was scared but he stood by us all the time. Food was good, boat was clean, good music and island view was breathtaking. Do it!!!

This was a perfect end of our vacation in Egypt. The tour is organized very good, the crew was kind and in good mood, enough time for snorkeling and the lunch was yummy. Everything was just perfect. Thank to Abrakadabra team!

We had a wonderful full day Red Sea trip from Hurghada with snorkeling, lunch and a stay at Giftun Island/Orange Bay. We really enjoyed it. The trip was well organized, including the transfer from and to our hotel. There was enough snorkeling equipment and you could also shower after snorkeling. There were drinks during the whole day and even some fresh fruit. At the end you could also do a short banana boat ride. There were no extra fees. The crew was very nice, fun and helpful! They did a great job!

It was a pleasant trip with an outstanding crew. The kids and grownup kids🙂 enjoyed all day activities. We recommend it.

to start things off the transfer to the harbour went really smoothly and we boarded the ship on time. after that, we went to the first snorkeling spot which was a wonderful riff with lots of corals and fish but people who couldn’t swim/were insecure also went into the water so they rushed us through it and it was a lot of people, too. you just kept swimming into each other/crossing each other. please consider it’s probably a well visited riff and the guides are under pressure regarding the time they can spend there and have no influence how many people there are. however, after that minor incident, we went to a different snorkeling spot where we were allowed to roam on our own for however long we liked. afterwards we were allowed to jump from the upper deck into the sea which was a really nice experience. then we got food which was okay, they served standard things like all variations of carbs, some meat and veggies. next we went to giftun island/orange bay. the scenery was breathtaking. there’s things to consider for older/non mobile people tho: you have to get on a transfer boat two times and get on some big steps on a staircase which probably isn’t ideal for people who are limited in their ability to move. then the boat rides back in the direction of the harbour. yet again, transfer to the hotel went smoothly. theres not much the crew or organisators can improve as it’s not in their hands, as mentioned above. definitely worth the time and money. you had to pay 35€ for photos the photographer takes of you tho which is a bit pricey and it was only like 5 pics and 5 videos, that’s okay tho as that’s probably his only source of income. plus, only one person out of two paid for us and we still received all photos taken of both people and the video jumping from the ship. big shout out to the photographer, guides and crew. all of them were super friendly, helpful (helped clean my goggles and helped those who can’t swim) and pleasant to be around. not to mention the organisators and drivers, they were extremely nice and respectful!

Highly recommend this trip! The guys we had were amazing and made sure that we felt comfortable! My partners underwear came undone whilst she was in the water and the guys made sure to cover her and helped her in a professional manner! Would highly recommend a lot better than what I have seen throughout Egypt.

Could not make it on the day I booked and was rebooked without a problem on the next day. Had a great time on the boat with the whole crew. They were enthusiastic, welcoming and made sure everyone was having a good time. Bring some long sleeve shirt; it can get a little windy in the morning.

I really enjoyed the trip. Crew is amazing, the water, the island, the food on board... it's worth! Do it!

Snorkling was the favourit part. We saw dolphins. Orange bay is a good Foto Spot. The guids are kind. Take enough suncream with you.

We had a blast! Was a great trip. The Team on the boat was absolutely amazing and funny. Would do it again !

they pick you up, they feed you, they look after you, your friends and your family! They let you do wathever you want! If you want to experience more freedom in the Red Sea this is the best option.

Our trip to Orange Bay was very nice. We had two stops for snorkeling, very good lunch on the boat (better than the food in our resort), about two hours stop at Orange Bay, and we ended the day with water sports. The team was very friendly and nice. The only thing I did not like was the fact that they asked an additional fee of 100EP for person(something with the government) while our viator booking stated that included all fees. Over all, it was a very nice experience and we did not regret it!

Orange Bay was a nice place. Snorkeling on coral reef was amazing :) variety of life worth seeing :) We had a wonderful time.

Staff were attentive , friendly and humourous . Was a fantastic trip , very informative and I had so much fun snorkelling on my own and as a group . I had a few minor mishaps as I wear glasses and couldnt find a mask that fitted on top , so had a bit of leakage but ibraham was very nice and helped me find a bigger one for our next stop . I had so much fun and it is much recommended . The food and drink provided was delicious, would defiantly go again ! Thankyou for such a fun trip , and I will be back for sure !!

Orange bay is a gorgeous place with many decoration for taking photos. We can see many fishes and corals when snorkelling, the water is cold in February but it’s extremely clean and clear! The tour is amazing, the staff are nice and friendly, everything is good :)

We did three tours: Snorkeling with Orange Bay – fantastically beautiful, the ship Ayya and the crew just wonderful. Submarine & Snorkeling – unique, the owner is there with so much passion. Star Adventure – exciting, well organized and highly recommended. Egyptra.pro organizes the tours, the execution is up to the respective providers. If something doesn't go perfectly, it's often due to external circumstances or fellow travellers, not Egyptra. The drivers were on time, sometimes they just had to look for guests. On the way back to the hotel everything went perfectly: the driver is waiting, you can get in immediately and drive back relaxed. You should also be realistic about the expectations of language – we are in Egypt, and even in Germanland not every taxi driver speaks perfect German or English. A little understanding makes things easier. All in all a great, lovingly organized experience. Thanks to Ehab, who coordinated everything with so much patience and kindness. We would always choose Egyptra.pro again

Tutto perfetto, presi dal resort in orario, bellissime fermate (n. 2) per fare snorkeling con guida snorkeling che ti accompagna a fare il giro migliore (anche per chi ha paura e usa il salvagente o giubbotto). Pranzo a buffet tipico egizio sulla barca (ma a noi piace mangiare cose diverse). Orange bay molto bella; avevamo uno spazio nostro all'ombra per lasciare i nostri zainetti o per stare all'ombra. Spiaggia spettacolare per fare un bagno rilassante. Al ritorno ci siamo fermati al largo dove è arrivato un motoscafo con la banana e, per chi voleva, poteva provare questa sperienza. Molto ben organizzato il prelievo dai resort in quanto c'erano più pulmini che prendevano la gente in modo da evitare di perdere troppo tempo nel viaggio e dover fare il giro di tutti i resort per prendere tutti. Sicuramente da rifare altre escursioni con loro.

Recomiendo mucho la experiencia, realmente es un paraiso, hemos hecho poco snorkeling, pero para nosotros ha estado bien, te dan comida y fruta al terminar, los chicos son muy atentos, y el guia Salah muy agradable.

En el momento de la compra, ponía que se hablaba en Español, a la hora de la verdad, nadie lo hablaba ni lo entendía. Condición que me convenció para coger esa excursión y no otra, por lo que lo considero un enorme engaño. Pero no solo en esta excursión, sino otra que había comprado, la anulé yo, al saber por su representación que tampoco era cierto que se hablase español.

I did a snorkeling excursion with Egyptra and the excursion itself was very good but the formality of the company leaves a lot to be desired... To begin with, they told me that the activity started at 8 am, they picked me up at 7.10 am and I arrived at the boat and there was absolutely no one there. I was waiting alone for almost an hour and, speaking with the crew, they told me that the activity started at 9. I spoke to the tour operator and showed him my dissatisfaction and, after several intermediaries seeking an explanation, Eguptra told me that they would give me the material free photograph in compensation for what happened. More than 3 days have passed since then, I have written to them several times asking about it and they only tell me that I am going to have it but they do not send it to me; I'm tired of writing to you. I think it is a lack of formality and concern for clients since I do not see it as normal to have to be on top of them constantly.

Wij willen graag ons oprechte dank uitspreken aan de bemanning voor de onvergetelijke snorkelervaring die wij vandaag mochten beleven. Van het begin tot het eind hebben jullie ons met open armen ontvangen aan boord, waarbij geen enkele vraag te veel was en elke service met een glimlach werd geleverd. De kennis en passie voor de onderwaterwereld die de crew deelde, maakte onze duiken niet alleen veilig maar ook educatief. Elk rif dat we bezochten was levendig en vol leven, en dankzij de deskundige begeleiding hebben we het meeste uit elke duik kunnen halen. De aandacht voor detail, de zorg voor onze comfort en veiligheid, en de heerlijke lunch maakten de dag compleet. Het is duidelijk dat jullie niet alleen liefde voor de zee hebben, maar ook voor jullie werk en de gasten die jullie meenemen op deze avonturen. De waarde van deze ervaring was dubbel en dwars het geld waard en wij zullen deze dag als een kostbare herinnering bewaren. We kijken uit naar een toekomstige gelegenheid om weer met jullie de zee op te gaan. Hartelijk dank voor alles!

Nice trip. The team was great. Unfortunately, despite booking at 8 am, the boat only left at 9.30 am. I think that made the two snorkel sections very close together. It would have been better if the two spots had been a little further apart in time. Otherwise a really great trip.

We were picked up from the hotel on time. The ship was very clean and the crew nice. We went banana boating and something like that. There were two snorkelling trips where I would have liked a brief briefing. Otherwise it was great, the spots were well chosen and Orange Bay must have been seen! I have eaten better than on the ship nowhere else in Egypt.

In general, the trip was successful and relaxing. However, it was only a stop for snorkeling, indicated were 2. The boat was perfect and clean. Compared to other boats already higher category. Corona rules were totally ignored. Masks, spacing and gloves at the food distribution were in no way found in participants or staff during the entire trip. Orange Bay is fantastically beautiful, even if the prices of drinks for Egypt are absurdly high. ( Local beer 6 € ). Transfer was punctual and the driver very friendly. Based on the price we paid (24,- € per head) the total package fits.
