When we booked our trip, this day was intended to be the highlight. We couldn’t have imagined what was in store. From the very start, our guide Ibrahim Hamed, was enthusiastic, informative and patient with us. You could tell he was proud to represent his country, and share the wealth of information he had. We had a quick historical tour of Cairo, then straight on to the pyramids at Giza. He made sure we knew what we should prepare for, and knew all the best places to look. Once we got to the pyramids themselves, he suggested we take a camel ride up to the location where the famous vista of the pyramids themselves. It was a first time experience for both of us, and the camel-handler Sayid was fantastic. I said I would experience more than photograph, but still, this gentleman encouraged us to take some fun pictures together, which we rarely get the chance to do. After that, we got to get right up to the Great Pyramid, and even the experience of touching one of the huge limestones blew our minds. He showed us where they found some of the buried ships, and even got to go inside the tomb of a royal doctor underground. After that was the Great Sphinx, with all the things one might miss if they were not with such an educated guide! (Later we found out he is an actual Egyptologist, definitely in the right hands!). Once we left the Giza complex, we called into a Bedouin perfumery, where we couldn’t help but get something to take home with us. We had a few samples, and from the little we had, we could smell the fresh and beautiful scents for the rest of the day. Next, we visited an authentic papyrus gallery, where we were shown how papyrus was made and how amazing that plant really is. In both shops, we were treated to a very welcome coffee, much needed after all that walking. Before we went to the Grand Egyptian Museum (it’s optional but please don’t turn down this opportunity as I promise you will regret not seeing it) we stopped at a local buffet for lunch before finishing our day at the museum. Inside, we saw some of the most famous Egyptian relics, including the funerary mask of Tutankhamun, and trust me, photos do not do it justice. I’m not even going to describe the sheer size and wonder that place contains, just go and see it yourself. Ibrahim showed us around for 1 hour, then left us to explore on our own for another hour. Don’t forget to see the ships encased there. If we were on our own throughout this journey, we would have found it all a bit overwhelming, but Ibrahim was the coolest guide you could ever ask for. Our driver for the day was also brilliant. We have made memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives, this is not one to be missed. Thank you!

Sarwat was an amazing guide we had a really full day. Visited the pyramids, museum, floating restaurant and belly dancing. We also took the Nile boat ride and had a really amazing photographer. Fantastic trip and my son loved it.

This was our first time in Cairo we had a great time seeing the pyramids and The great Egyptian museum. The guide was very good and knowledgeable. Easy going and whitty. Very value for price. Would recommend to others.

Great day out with many things to keep you busy for the full day. We had a great guide Salma and the photography package was a nice addition. Optional additions like the camel were more expensive than suggested but later found out they are flexible pricing

Fantastic tour with FTS Travel! We took the full day trip with flights from Hurghada to Cairo and couldn't fault the day. We landed in Cairo and picked up our Guide Ahmad Abo El Magd, he is such a knowledgeable guide with so many great recommendations. Lot's of opportunities to tailor the tour to our preference, he looked after my wife who was pregnant, ensuring she had shade and water and wasn't walking too far. So glad we booked with FTS and wouldn't think twice booking with them again. I will definitely be asking for Ahmad again and you should too! Get booking.

Simply the best day from start to finish! Our guide was so helpful throughout the day and gave us lots of interesting facts about ancient Egypt throughout. I completed the tour with my husband and had one of the best days I’ve had in years. Every part of the trip went to plan. The whole thing from start to finish was so well organised. The Nile boat trip was beautiful, the museum stunning. The pyramids were the highlight of the day and were even more impressive than I’d hoped for. The day would have been nothing without our tour guide - Ahmed ‘The Entertainer’ Wahib. His English was fantastic, his knowledge probably second to none and his enthusiasm never dropped throughout the day. Thank you Ahmed for taking care of us - it was a pleasure to meet you. I was nervous before the trip but I felt in safe hands all day. Do not visit Egypt without taking this fantastic tour.

The day was lovely accept from a few things. Muhammad amin was our tour guide and from the beginning he was hinting at tips due to how hard it is with health care and education. We felt rushed and when my partner was in awe of the pyramids he was write abrupt in telling her to listen to him and look after. He then took us to a random oil scent shop to try and get us to purchase things. After the museum tour he pushed us into leaving him a good review while he watched what we wrote. As soon as he got his positive review his attitude changed instantly and was very rude and demanded that we remember his tip or he will leave us at the museum. Then tried pressuring us several times into doing the nile boat trip and picnic which we had to get firm with him and tell him we didn’t have anymore money for him to leave us alone. After that he got a taxi home and left us with a driver that didn’t understand English to take us to the nile cruise (another couple wanted to go) while we sat in the coach and waited to be dropped off at the airport His attitude really ruined what was other than that a lovely day

The tour was very well organised, we arranged everything by WhatsApp. Before the tour all the questions we had were answered in a professional and timely manner. The driver and guide made us feel comfortable and made a nice tour for us. The price of the tour is exceptional. We couldn’t ask for more. Really recommend this tour!

The tour guide is great! It is a long day we left at 6:00am and didn’t arrive back at the hotel until 11pm. However seeing the pyramids and museum is very good. The flight time home could be earlier as we were done with the experience at 4pm and the flight wasn’t until 9pm so we pretty much had to pay for a boat trip or we would have nothing to do for 5 hours. Bring extra cash as they’re extra costs such as drinks, snacks, using toilets bring Egyptian money as we brought GBP and it was more awkward and we paid extra for everything. The transport is great they really look after you. Overall it was a great experience

What an amazing day … to be stood next to the pyramids and sphinx was a great big tick off my bucket list ..our tour guide Kongo was superb his knowledge and sense of humour added to what was a memorable day and made it 💯 even better The museum also was breathtaking, this trip is so worth it , early start hard but again wouldn’t change a thing

the day was amazing. I loved the whole experience. the early start was hard as it made it a very long day but well worth it. the pyramids were so beautiful, words can't describe the experience. the memorabilia was stunning and great value for money. Lunch was stunning, something for everyone. the museum was very busy but worth the long day and all the walking. our guide made the whole experience worth every penny. he was very funny, welcoming and supportive throughout.

We had a wonderful day at the Pyramids of Giza. Followed up with some Egyptian culture in and around Cairo. Giving us the opportunity to taste the local Coffee/Tea and food along our tour. Our tour representative Kongo was top notch and extremely knowledgeable. Making our day relaxed, fun and enjoyable, involving all with in our group to participate in videos and photo’s. We would use the same company if we’re to return in the future, and would recommend to friends/family.

We flew to Cairo from Hurghada very early in th morning and we're met by our tour guide Ahmed Wahip and our driver at th airport. We were taken on a Nile boat trip then to see the Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza, both were fantastic and our guide Ahmed knew everything about their history and answered all my questions. Next was the New Egyptian Grand Museum to see all it's treasures. All I can say is that it's certainly a trip that exceeded all my expectations a big WOW thanks to everyone especially Ahmed 👌

We had a brilliant experience today thanks to Ahmed Wahip. The best tour guide we could have asked for, also he is a photographer which is a bonus when seeing the pyramids for great pictures!!
