This was honestly our best trip ever, we recommend to everyone visiting Egypt to take this overnight tour to Luxor with Love Egypt Tours, you will not be disappointed. From the moment you get picked up by private minivan to the end you get VIP treatment. Our hotel pickup was very flexible, so we choose 8am , to have enough time to have breakfast. Journey to luxor was comfortable and fast. In Luxor we met Mr Huss who welcomed us with drinks and gave overview of the trip. Then we were taken to our hotel , which was in perfect location , overlooking river Nile. Then we were picked up by our tour guide Doctor Abdul, whose knowledge is incredible. We could not been more luckier, his approach mand friendliness made the sightseeing very enjoyable. On the 1st day we saw Karnak and Luxor temple. On the 2nd day we opted for ballon flight at 5am. The journey was perfectly organised, the guide was waiting for us in the lobby and was with us for the whole journey to the balloons and back. The flight was unforgettable experience, the views of twenty few balloons at sunrise was amazing. The flight was safe and very enjoyable, recommend it to everyone on the trip. After that we had a breakfast in the hotel and continued sightseeing with doctor Abdul in the valley of the kings, and temple of Hatshepsut. We finished with lunch on the boat on the Nile River. Really unforgettable trip, thanks to all people who put effort to organise it.
A Wonderful trip. This is the second time I have used this company to travel to Luxor. They were able to adapt the trip to suit travelling with a one year old and change the scheduling to meet our needs. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again.
WOW! This tour was the perfect way to see and appreciate so much of the amazing history of Egypt. Our tour guide Dr. Abdul was the perfect combination of professional, fun and energetic and his passion for Egyptology was infectious. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best experience possible. Our driver, Mahmoud was there to pick us up and drop us off at every stop. We felt safe and valued the entire tour. We were able to visit some of the oldest archeological sites in the world and offered extra activities. The hot air balloon ride at sunrise was unforgettable as well as the Felucca along The Nile at sunrise. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in visiting this amazing city steeped in rich history from Hurghada. 10/10 tour!
An amazing experience! Dr Abdul was our guide and he was the perfect companion for our two days in Luxor. His passion for and knowledge about Egyptology was infectious and heightened every experience we had. Our driver Mahmoud was fantastic and always there and ready to take us to our next experience. The hotel that was booked was nice and we felt safe and valued during our tour. The archeological sites and monuments are truly wondrous. I felt the time we had was enough to make it worthwhile although this is one of those places that you will always wish you had more time. We were offered extra activities but weren’t pressured into taking them. We chose to take a sunset felucca ride on the Nile and a sunrise hot air balloon trip over the valley of the kings. Both were fantastic! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Luxor from Hurghada, without the hassle of organising transport and accomodation. I will always recommend Dr Abdul to any friends or family visiting Luxor.
Very well organised and personal attention. Guide Darwish so knowledgeable and looked after us like family
I booked a two day private tour to Luxor from Hurghada with a hotel stopover as a suprise for my elderly parents. Hass could not of been more accommodating to my numerous requests and demands and was very quick to answer any questions I had. My parents have told me that they were extremely well looked after by all the members of his team and could not have had a better time. Based on my experience of booking this trip and my parents glowing feedback I would not hesitate in recommending Love Egypt Tours to anyone.
If you want a truly knowledgeable guide, not to mention local celebrity and native of Luxor, you cannot do better than Professor Abdul. On our three day trip not only did we get to visit Karnak, Luxor temple, Aby Dos and Dendera, we even got to see some of his incredible original research in the scribes valley when we asked him about it. He gave incredibly detailed answers to all of our questions while still giving us plenty of space to explore on our own. He even gave us great tips for local food. We felt truly welcome during our entire trip. The driver and tour agency were also very professional and accommodated all of our requests, even last minute additions. The van was nice, clean, and air conditioned and they made sure we had a nile view at our hotel. Overall the service was excellent, accommodating, and pressure-free.
My family and I just been to Luxor as a part of our trip to beautiful Egypt. We had been to Cairo then to Hurghada ,while in Hurghada we decided to take a short tour in Luxor and we managed to contact “Love Egypt Tours” online for the trip.”Mr.Hassan” the manager was very flexible he gave us a reasonable price for 2 days in Luxor with Hotel, Excursions and Transfers. Drivers were professional From and to Hurghada Back ,the Van was super clean and upon arrival we checked in Immediately in Our Hotel and later on we met our Tour guide in Luxor “Abdul” who was amazing, patient with me ,my wife ,her sister and our kids.He took us to Karnak and Luxor temples and it was top notch such huge and ancient stuff still standing ,Abdul give us a great lecture about Ancient Egypt he is very informative then we went back to the Hotel for a lovely dinner. On the second day we were picked up again by Abdul across the Nile for the tour to the west which was a wonderful experience seeing all these tombs of the valley of the kings with their 3000years colors as if it is done just the day before ,Abdul kept it interesting and let us understand a lot about the mysterious scenes inside the tombs. We also visited Hatshepsuite temple and the colossi of Memnon. Then we crossed the Nile back to the east of Luxor with a boat this time with a fancy and tasty lunch organized by Abdul also . We came back to the hotel to pick our luggage for the trip back to Hurghada .Thanks for every body working for “Love Egypt tours “ every thing was working perfect and we had a lovely time .We recommend this tour agent for any future tourist as they will never regret it.
We just had a trip in Egypt exceeded all the expectations with “Love Egypt Tours. Everything worked like clock like precision. I am so grateful of all the teamwork that bent over backward to provide us a wonderful time. The driver from Hurghada to Luxor was top notch and took great care that we were always safe and comfortable in our travels. Never once did we ever feel unsafe during our entire trip. “Abdul” The guide in Luxor was outstanding and very knowledgable and was always so attentive to our needs. We learned so much from you Abdul!. Thank you. The whole trip was organized in precision and was implemented perfectly. Thanks to every one for giving us an unforgettable trip.
Amazing full immersion experience with our guide Doctor Abdul that went above and beyond showing us what ancient Egypt was like with so much passion and knowledge. He even read and explained to us some of the ancient hieroglyphs! I have travelled the world and met many guided but Mr. ABDUL has been the best by far. I wish I could put 6 stars 😁
This 2 days excursion from Hurghada to Luxor, was very well organised,, our guide Dr Abdul was very knowledgeable. He is himself and Egyptologist and his knowledge of ancient Egyptian history was incredible. Really recommend.
I did one-night Luxor tour and visited the Valley of the Kings with extremely good guide Shimaa Esmail. She explained the history and background of the ancient time in details which allowed me to understand better the tombs and the paintings and the temples. She is very knowledgeable about all matters about ancient Eqypt. I visited on the first day the valley and 4 different tombs which the guide had chosen. They were all different from each other so I got good understanding of the differences. After the valley we visited local stone factory and finally went to temple of the queen Hatshepsui, ancient woman ruler of eqypt. The temple is magnificient and well preserved. Highly recommended!
This was the most amazing 2 days! Every step of the way from booking to the end couldn't have been made easier.I visited from Hurgarda with my mum and was picked up by a very friendly and helpful driver...once we arrived in Luxor we were met by our guide Ahmed Award couldn't have been friendlier more helpful or fill us with any more information than he did!!! The knowledge and information that he shared with us was fantastic and I have learnt so much more than I already knew...he also cares alot about the people he is looking after and about the places and things he was telling us about, this trip has been the best of my life and it wouldn't have been the same without Ahmed and his fountain of knowledge and kindness...I would recommend this trip to everyone!!!
Took a 2 day trip from Hurghada to Luxor with Love Egypt Tours recently and the whole trip was amazing, from first point of contact through to final drop off. My initial enquiry to the owner, Mr Hass, was met with a prompt WhatsApp reply making booking the trip really easy. He wouldn’t take a deposit despite my offering as he was keen that we take the trip first and pay upon completion and then checked in with me multiple times to confirm all was ok (including phoning to make sure we had been picked up on the morning of our trip and meeting up with us half way through the first day to say hi). Our driver was excellent (I’m annoyed at myself as I can’t remember his name), he was punctual, friendly and really helpful throughout our 2 days with him. He even came back out in the evening to take us to the Karnak light show despite having been up stupidly early to drive to Hurghada to pick us up and then ferry us back to Luxor and around Karnak and Luxor temples. Upon arrival in Luxor we were met by our guide Abdul, he was immediately engaging providing a wealth of knowledge on each of the locations we visited (Karnak, Luxor temple, Karnak light show, Valley of the Kings, Hatsheput temple). At no point did we feel rushed and Abdul was careful to make sure that our 11 year old daughter remained interested and, to a certain extent, educated! When we reached the Valley of the Kings our daughter found the tombs to be too hot and declined to enter the second one (she missed out), Abdul was happy to sit outside with her and wait so that we didn’t miss out and she didn’t get forced into a tomb she had no desire to see. This was especially helpful as travelling with children does bring its own challenges and neither my husband nor I would have been keen to wait topside with her! Abdul really does know his stuff and is passionate about his Egyptian History - he was constantly sharing information and then testing our daughter on it later in the day ;), I can’t recommend him highly enough as a guide. At the end of our 2 day adventure we stopped for a late lunch with Mr Hass who again wanted to make sure that we were entirely happy with the service we had received – we absolutely were! One word of caution is that I would recommend thinking carefully about anything you buy and never buy unseen. We purchased a couple of silver cartouches for my husband and daughter and have quickly learned that these most certainly aren’t silver. I’m chalking this up to experience as we really should have known better than to get caught up in the moment and buying without thoroughly checking out first – a rookie mistake on our part rather than a criticism of love Egypt Tours. If we ever come back we’d more than happily do another tour with these guys! Thank you so much for sharing this small part of your beautiful country with us. *We did the private tour, not the small group tour
Our two day tour from Hurghada to Luxor was fantastic with Love Egypt. This tour exceeded all expectations starting from the communications in booking with Hass over email, to our punctual transport with A/C (it was 114 degrees in Luxor), and of course our wonderful guide Abdul. The tour took us to all of the highlights around Luxor, including Karmek and Luxor Temples, a lunch on the Nile, and the tombs. Abdul was both knowledgeable and humorous, which makes for the perfect guide of our private tour. He seemed very well studied on the history of these landmarks and showed a pure sense of joy describing them. He was also very attentive to our needs, providing us water, clean restrooms, and any other necessities we needed along our trip. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this group for other travelers to the region. Thanks, team!
My name is Daniel Acosta ,Am from Belgium .Through the last week and during my first trip to this wonderful country Egypt I had a great a chance to fulfill a life time dream ,as me and my beloved wife “Linda” were in Cairo being fascinated by such beautiful ancient civilization .And I was advised by some friends to go to Hurghada ,where we had that sensational romantic time by the Red Sea .and after researching online we managed to book a 2 days trip to Luxor city for the chance to see the unimaginable monuments in there with the help of “Love Egypt Tours” company .We were escorted by our driver “Ahmed “ who picked us up at 7am from the Hotel and drove us in a big comfort and air conditioned van for more than 300KM and it was a very safe drive. Upon arrival to Luxor ,we met Abdul the Guide and he first took us to visit the East bank of the Nile Temples such as Karnak and Luxor temples. Abdul give us a great lecture and information about the History and Egyptology helped us to understand the significance of building such huge edifices which were mainly made for Ancient mythical beings however I think if we were by ourselves it would sound very hard to get the Idea of spending time and great effort to make them endures for centuries .Abdul sounded like a celebrity in there ,Everyone knows and respect him and he is a very friendly ,knowledgeable and considerate guy .After finishing the tour there ,He took us to the Hotel and every thing was ready ,as we were completely knackered and tired of such a long day ,we got our room in no time at all and we enjoyed a cold drink by the pool while the Sun goes down into such a charming city .Things felt like those “Indiana Jones” movies. The next day we woke up at 3 am in the morning as we reserved the Hot Air Balloon Trip atop of the west side of Luxor and managed to watch the Ancient place from the sky and It was wonderful .The guys who did that for us were very meticulous about the safety procedures .They surprised me and my wife with a party in the desert after we landed .That really felt like a new wedding and honey moon for us .We were surrounded by love. We then met Abdul again then He took us to the place of our dreams ,We always watched the documentaries about the Valley of the Kings ,The curse and Haward Carter, however nothing is like visiting the Place with The Professional Abdul ,who explained to us how to enjoy our time there without losing our power or wasting the time . Abdul told us all the stories which I admire him for such huge info he has and still keeping the pace of the trip on the right track .We had been later to the charming terrace temple of Queen “Hatshepsuit” and heard the stories of Ancient politics and love stories which sounded no different of Today. On the way back we had a photo stop by The Colossi of “Memnon” while Abdul kept telling us his interesting stories about them and made it a great fun as he didn’t sound like a teacher but a true Professional Egyptologist. After we finish and had a tasty Egyptian Kabab Lunch we were driven back to Hurghada safely. Many Thanks for Abdul and Also Mr.Hass the Manager of the guys who is brilliant organizer and care to follow up with his staff with nuances.Truly the man is excellent in what he does . I do advise every one to not to miss such a beautiful country and its charm. Daniel
We booked a two day tour of Luxor inc travel from our hotel in Hurghada for USD 360 which included everything except food. This was an extremely competitive price compared to similar trips offered by other agents in our hotel. This is effectively two half day tours with a hotel stay overnight, this sounded much more comfortable than the other one day tours where everything is done in one day including the travel (approx 4 hrs drive from Hurghada to Luxor) which seemed a bit too much. We only booked two days before the trip via email with the owner Mr Hass which was fairly short notice (who met us a few times on the trip to make sure we were happy with everything). Our driver Khaled arrived at exactly the right time as promised (not Arabic time hehe!) it's an early start at 5.30am so we managed to get some sleep in the car which was very comfortable. We met our guide Abdul on the edge of Luxor and from the start his passion really shone through as he gave a background on the two days ahead and any options we'd like to take up such as hot air balloons, the sound and light show etc so it could be organised early if we wish... there was no pushing for anything, simply options were laid out which we could happily choose or decline. We also opted to have lunch on the Nile and were given a nice surprise for lunch when a cake appeared to celebrate our honeymoon. Abdul was wonderful throughout, and with his background of being an Egyptologist doing ongoing research we felt really lucky to have got him for our private tour, we asked many many questions and he had answers for everything! Day one Travel visit Valley of the Kings ticket to visit 3 tombs visit Hatshepsut temple visit Colossi of Memnon Extra visit to valley of the scribes Check into hotel around 3pm Day two visit Karnak temple Papyrus museum Visit Luxor temple Sphinx Avenue connecting the two Lunch before leaving for Hurghada The hotel we were booked into was the 5* Sonesta St.George (included in price), the rooms are of a classic decor and the food and service was great! All in all this was an absolutely wonderful trip and well recommended to anyone. We will be recommending Love Egypt tours to our friends and family and hope to come back another time to see more and perhaps visit Aswan as we really love our Egyptian history.
We have just got back yesterday from our two day trip to Luxor from our resort in Hurghada and cannot get over what a fantastic experience we had! We were picked up by our lovely driver Khalid at 5:30 am sharp on Sunday morning from our hotel (we opted for the private tour, so just myself and my husband). We then made our way to Luxor with one stop on the way at a service station. This is where we met Hass for the first time as he joined us on part of the journey. He was very friendly just like in our email correspondence. The journey was around 4.5 hours in total with the rest stop which was fine with us as we were able to catch up on some sleep from the early start. As we neared Luxor we dropped off Hass and picked up Abdul, what a character! He introduced himself and gave a brief background of his incredible career. We were so impressed that we had a tour guide who was so passionate about Egyptian History and had been working for so long as an Egyptologist. Our first stop was to see the statues of Memnon which were incredible, Abdul got us to do some fun pictures there. After that we headed to the Valley of the Kings where we visited 3 tombs, with Abdul giving us background info on each of them before we entered. Some of these tombs involve a lot of walking, going down is OK but coming back up was a struggle for some, make sure you take water with you! Hatshepsut's temple was next which was incredible, unfortunately a lot of this had been reconstructed due to various reasons but there was still some amazing pieces to see! After here we went to an Alabaster factory/shop where we got to see how the villagers make pottery and ornaments out of the original materials from the area. They were lovely and entertaining. Abdul then gave us the option to either head to lunch (we had already opted for lunch on the Nile, £20 GBP each) or go and see one more place of interest for an extra £10 GBP each. We decided to go to the Valley of the Scribes which was one of my favourite parts of the trip. Abdul had personally worked on the excavation of this area and it really shows how passionate he is when he was talking us through his finds and interpretations of the amazing pictures and stories left behind by the Scribes. The place was so well kept it was just amazing! We then went onto have lunch on a boat on the Nile and the food was amazing, we were asked earlier if we wanted chicken or mixed meats, we both opted for the different ones. The meat was really good, koftes, chicken wings etc with rice, salad, Egyptian bread and some houmous. Abdul had found out earlier that we were on honeymoon so they had arranged a special cake to celebrate which was so kind! After that we were taken to our Hotel, St George's which was again amazing. We had a room overlooking the Nile and this also included breakfast. We got there around 3/3:30pm so made the most of it and headed down to the pool, staff were awesome. We ended up choosing the Italian restaurant to eat in that night but there were a few others to choose from. The food was really good and reasonable too, the breakfast was a buffet with a wide range of foods. We were picked up at 9am by our driver and Abdul where we headed to Karnak Temple then Luxor Temple. Both of these were breathtaking! So many incredible statues and pillars intact, there was even colour left on the top of some of the pillars too. We couldn't believe how amazing both of these temples were! We got some fabulous pictures, and Abdul even got us to do a fertility ritual whereby we walked around the scarab statue 7 times as this is what they used to do! Between visiting the temples we got to go to the Papyrus museum and shop where they showed us how they made papyrus paper in ancient Egyptian times which was really interesting. We then got the chance to purchase any artwork if we wanted to. From Luxor temple we saw the Sphinx walk which was again amazing, originally it was lined with over 1200 statues, but there's still loads intact. We then headed to lunch, this time we went to a restaurant and had pretty much what we had the day before. This cost £15 GBP each, and was just as tasty! After lunch Iwe then headed back to our resort in Hurghada. This has hands down been one of my favourite trips I've ever been on a holiday before. Never have I met a more passionate, informed and experienced tour guide, who was friendly and humourous like Abdul, we cannot reccomend him enough! I would definitely reccomend the two day tour if you can do it, as it spreads the travelling out over two days and you get to experience a lot more! Thanks again to our lovely driver Khalid, Hass for being friendly and helpful, and of course Abdul our amazing guide! Chloe xxx
Wow what more can I say about this tour! From the day we were interested in booking to arriving back at our hotel in Hurghada everything was perfect and fantastic! Mr Hass was always quick to reply and answered any questions that we had to ask! The price was excellent for what we got included- private transport, private guide, hotel stay over including breakfast, entrance into all tombs and temples and also lunch! Our guide Abdul.....again what can I say about him apart from FANTASTIC! He is a credit to the company! Funny, polite, honest, his knowledge for this country is impeccable! We learnt so much and found everything so interesting (he also takes some fantastic photos during the tour)! He really did make our tour so special and we can’t thank him enough, we now also class him as a friend.. If anyone wants to visit Luxor and see the Ancient Egyptian history then I wouldn’t look else where! It’s brilliant!
If you have the time to make a 2 day trip to Luxor it really does make a difference in terms of what you can do compared to 1 day. The journey from Hurghada is 4 hours and I set off at 5.30am from my Hurghada hotel. I chose Love Egypt tours as although only 1 review for the overnight trip all the day trip reviews were good. Shimaa was my guide for the 2 days and was great with all her insights and history and she also answered all my questions. Valley of the Kings was obviously a highlight, but also loved Hatshepsut temple, Karnak and the small Luxor temple. With 2 days I was also able to fit in lunch on the Nile, sound and Light Show at Karnak ( atmospheric but old fashioned commentary), time to eat dinner in a restaurant recommendation Sofra( fantastic food) and enjoyed a city tour seeing the more local parts of the town. Stayed in Acti Palace as part of the price, was lucky enough to have a Nile view room. Booking was very straightforward and Mr Hass the owner confirmed everything for me a couple of days before. Highly recommend
Hass arranged for us a 2 day tour to Luxor from Hurghada. He was very responsive to all our specific requests and the price was very favourable vs holiday company’s. Our driver Ahmed was very friendly and considerate . We initially found the checkpoints and military escort presence along the way unnerving but Ahmed reassured us that they were for our own protection. Nearer to Luxor the roads get busier and a bit chaotic, but Ahmed expertly negotiated through it. In Luxor our guide Shimaa gave us a brief introduction into the belief system and ethos of the ancient Egyptians. This gave us a greater insight that we hadn't picked up from the many tv programmes we'd watched previously. She continued to greatly enhance our understanding throughout the trip. At the end of the first day she organized a relaxing boat trip/meal on the Nile (an experience we’d probably have missed if left to our own devices). We were also given ample free time to explore the sights on our own and Shimaa was keen to tailor timings etc to suit our requirements. The sights on this tour are truly amazing and a must do for everyone. I highly recommend this tour company for this purpose. Thanks again to everyone at Love Egypt Tours
We had a private tour and received a lot of information because of this. With a Dutch speaking guide, it is also an interesting experience for small children.
