Aladdin Beach Resort ***

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful family holiday – and a special thank you to Karim! We have just returned from a fantastic week at Aladdin Resort Hurghada, travelling as a family with my two granddaughters, both under 8. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The entrance is lovely, with the big staircase making a great first impression. The staff were welcoming and friendly, our luggage was taken care of, and we were shown to our rooms with our bags brought up for us. Unfortunately, this is where our holiday got off to a disappointing start. The room we were initially given was simply not what I had expected or booked for my family. There was only one usable plug socket, another was behind a bed and therefore not practical, and the remaining socket was too far from the kettle. We actually had to make tea on the floor! The bathroom also wasn't to the standard we expected. I tried contacting reception that evening but unfortunately couldn't get an answer, so we decided to make the best of it and speak to reception first thing in the morning. And this is where I have to give a very special thank you to KARIM SALAH. ❤️ The following morning, I went to reception with a family member and explained the situation to Karim. He was absolutely fantastic. He listened to us, understood our concerns and, rather than making excuses or allowing the situation to drag on, he acted immediately. Within around 10 minutes, Karim had arranged for our rooms to be changed completely free of charge. We were told the new rooms were deluxe rooms. Personally, I would describe them as more like the standard rooms you would expect to receive when booking a holiday, but compared with the original rooms, they were a huge improvement. The difference was incredible. The children were so much happier, and my grandchildren actually commented themselves on how horrible the first room was compared with their lovely new room. Seeing them happy again made such a difference to us as a family. Karim, thank you. 👏🏼 You could quite easily have turned what started as a very disappointing experience into something that affected our entire holiday. Instead, you listened, acted quickly and completely changed the situation for us. That deserves recognition. After that, the rest of our holiday was absolutely brilliant. 🍽️ The food was lovely, and the outdoor barbecue was a particular highlight. Breakfast was also great. If you don't like busy restaurants, I would definitely recommend trying the Italian restaurant for breakfast — it was usually much quieter and nearly empty when we visited. 🏊‍♀️ The hotel has lovely pools, with pool bars, and the beach is absolutely stunning. It is particularly lovely for families with young children. 💦 The Ali Baba Aqua Park is also fantastic and was a huge hit with the children. Overall, we had a fabulous family holiday. My only advice to families would be to make sure you request a room in the main Aladdin building rather than the overflow accommodation at Jasmine, particularly if travelling with young children. In our experience, the difference was significant. Yes, we had a bump at the beginning, but what matters to me is how a problem is dealt with — and Karim dealt with ours exceptionally well. The rest of the week was fantastic, the staff were always smiling and friendly, and we genuinely felt welcomed. To all the staff at Aladdin — thank you for a wonderful holiday. 😃❤️ And to Karim in particular — thank you for going above and beyond and helping to turn our disappointing first evening into the fabulous family holiday we had hoped for. We was givin a old style room where you share the balcony with next door and was a outdated room so had to pay pay $200 for a new style room with pool view which was a great room clearer was very happy and friendly with us could not do enough for us but the night entertainment was awful same show each night did not hear a single person. Say it was any good and that they would be coming back to that hotel maybe the worse than a entertainment for a hotel I’ve been to and the staff and reception was so rude and laser you asked them for something they say just another five minutes you’re standing there for 15 to 20 minutes. No one would come over to see what the problem was. Would be staying here again

Honest review… On arrival you have to fill out reservation cards per family per room. Not ideal when youve got tired young children. This took 30-45mins once filled in we received our key cards and towel cards. The room was very spacious and house keeping came every day to change bedding, fresh towels and bottles of water. We paid for deluxe family rooms which are more modern. The bar staff are a credit to the hotel. Very polite nothing was too much and as a group of 9 they always managed to get our order right. The bar staff near the pool with the lake and boats looked after us for the whole 10nights nothing too much for them. The chef there was lovely and the pizza was 10/10. The beach bar restaurant has better food. Fresh pizza, fries, chicken shawarma, kebab, fresh fruit and salad and soups and breads. We ate her most days. The grounds were/are very well kept with gardeners gardening everyday. What we didn’t like… The food in the main restaurant was mediocre very same everyday. Beef in gravy, fatty lamb, chicken or grilled fish on the bbq. Homemade chips not fries. Mash potatoes served for breakfast!!!!! Kids section homemade chips and green beans with grated carrots and sliced cucumber with a few deserts. No chicken nuggets no fish fingers very poor! Especially if this is all your child will eat- home comforts. The lifeguards in the main pool need to relax abit moaning that water is getting on the tiles well of course it’s a swimming pool and people have wet clothing! It’s going to get wet! Eventually after 2 days my husband just told them how it was and they relaxed off. We moved to the quieter pool near the lake with boats was so much better and less rowdy. The entertainment was dire! Every other day the had a man spinning in a skirt/dress to music (maybe cultural) they did have a white night but we missed this as we was having lunch. The nightclub was okay but you can smoke in there and as someone who doesn’t smoke I find this gross! We went to the Italian à la carte it was vile! The only thing that was nice was the piped mash. You could help yourself to pasta, deserts and salads. We all had the steaks they was just burgers with some pepper sauce. Was not my cup of tea. Pretty poor for an à la carte. The shops near the beach are soooo expensive £15 for a plane that’s something you get out of a cracker. The food is cheap to eat out I would recommend chilis at senzo mall or grill and chill at the marina. Delish! I would advise to venture out the locals are lovely. I would also recommend Mac trips and Hurghada family tours for excursions. We would return to Hurghada just not this hotel sadly.

We visited over the Easter holiday. They definitely went all out it look absolutely beautiful. A egg hunt for the kids. A festive Easter theme buffet. The place is clean & tidy. What makes this hotel even more special is the staff. They go the extra mile. Warm & friendly. We did tip as they work fr hard. We also brought chocolates which my children handed out. The rooms are clean & welcoming. We were on the second floor with a balcony which was nice in the evening to sit & relax. Our cleaner was lovely always making sure we was ok & the room was tidy., The restaurants we tried were Italian,Chinese & teppanyaki all delicious. The main restaurant something for everyone. I’m a vegetarian & my youngest is the most Fussiest eater. We never left hungry. Some really nice veggies Indian dishes. The evening they have a bbq going on outside the main restaurant with so many varieties. If your a cat lover or even feel like you want to help bring some cat treats as their is strays unfortunately but guest to help by feeding them & giving them water. I did notice traps so the hotel is aware. I’ve been coming to Egypt for 18yrs. First time to Aladdin. I would definitely return. Highly recommend to others. On the beach with lots of sun-beds .
