We very much enjoyed this trip, despite the high heat the day we went. We left at 10 am though and it may be worth considering an earlier start. The arrangements were all very efficient, contact was excellent and the driver was very nice, spoke excellent English and was very happy to be guided by us on the time we wanted to spend at each stop. We opted not to have a guide as, in the heat, we preferred to wander around the tombs on our own, stopping for drinks or ice creams as necessary. We simply sent a WhatsApp to the driver when we were ready to be picked up from each site. Note that entry is 150,000 VND per person for each tomb.
The tour was great, a must do in Hue! Our guide, Austin, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The tour was efficiently run and we had an excellent driver.
Our driver Long was very knowledgeable. He could speak very good English and explained us some things about every stop, that we did not expect. He also brought us to some nice Vietnamese local coffee place and made his best every time to accommodate our needs. Totally recommended!

We had a great afternoon touring three tombs, an incense village, and the pagoda and a dragon boat ride end our activity. Our driver Ly was punctual and a safe driver. He was always waiting for us every time we finished a tour. He also walked us up to the ticket booths each time. We did not hire a guide. Next time we would consider doing that so we had a driver and a guide. We did a walking tour of the imperial city the morning before this activity. This made the tomb self guided tours more meaningful as we had already learnt some of the history of the different kings.
For our group of 4 people this was a great 5 hours. Lots to see. The driver was very nice and helpful.
I had a great customized tour, adding the Imperial City/Citadel and with drop-off in Phong Nha. Communication/planning was great. Driver David did an amazing job, was punctual and very helpful. He explained a lot about Vietnamese history on the way. Very comfortable car, too.

I would recommend this! Our driver was on time, provided some history about our stops, provided great suggestions in altering the stops, got us safely to/from our hotel, and provided a clean/comfortable car and cold bottled water.
Our guide, Austin, was great, really knows his history and we learned a lot. Driver Mi was very careful and the car was super clean and comfortable. The weather wasn't great, but we still had a good day. Thoroughly recommend.

A great way to see some of the sights away from Hue town centre. Interesting temples, a very knowledgable guide and comfortable transport. The length is just right to then go to the citadel in the afternoon

Really enjoyed the trip — the tombs and the pagoda are all well worth seeing and Vir (sp?) was a safe, friendly driver who arrived 5 minutes early and looked after us very well for the whole trip. This was a very relaxing and convenient way to see a lot of sights. Would recommend.
We had a wonderful tour to the 3 tombs and pagoda wirh our driver Tien. He gave us alot of information about the 3 emperors and their individual tombs and drove us safely during the entire trip and was there to pick us up quickly (it was a really hot day) whenever we had finished our visit at each stop. The incense village was also a fun stop on the way. He was very punctual, friendly and his English was great. I would be very happy to recommend Tien to anyone wanting a private tour with a great driver.
Our driver was very friendly and offered a lot of good information in between stops. The tombs were really impressive to see and we were able to visit them at our own speed. Booking the tour was also very convenient and easy to do. I would definitely recommend this when visiting Hue!
The tour was really great, our driver Loi was almost like a guide, with many usefull facts and information about the areas we drove through, Vietnamese culture and customs. And there was plenty of time to see the tombs aso.
My partner and I did the trip to the tombs today with Loi. I have travelled to over 20 countries and Loi is by far the best tour guide I have ever ever had!!!! Loi went above and beyond this morning to find me breakfast before we started (which was so appreciated as it was a long day in the heat!!!). He stopped to take us to an amazing coffee spot and also an amazing lunch spot, and also making another stop to the incense markets. We mentioned that we would also like to do the dragon boat ride and Loi arranged this for us too picking us up at the other end and taking us back to our hotel. Loi had so much patience and a great sense of humour. He was also a great careful driver. Thanks again Loi for the fabulous trip we had today we appreciate it SO MUCH! The tour was very nice, well organized and lasted just the right amount of time. Ben, our driver, gave us a lot of interesting information during the trip and was very kind and helpful. This tour does not include the price of entrance tickets but it is still worth it. Tickets can be easily purchased at the ticket offices at the entrance to the mausoleums and I would recommend purchasing the combo ticket which allows you to enter 4 sites with a price reduction. We had a lovely morning, thanks Ben!
