Hue: Private Car To Hoi An Via Hai Van Pass & Golden Bridge

Absolutely great day we had! Driver was perfect on time and so extremely friendly. He walked with us as far as he could and really did his best to tell us as much as he could. It was a long drive but the company and chats with the driver made it go really fast. He even took us to a superb local lunch place for a pho noodle soup. Something we would bever pick or find ourselves but was exactly what we needed.

It is a great way of sightseeing and getting to where you want to go. It was a fun and relaxed day. Great to see the lagoon, the Hai Van Pass and also BaNa Hills. The golden bridge is within the BaNa Hills complex so you have to pay. It is worth it for the novelty of the place. Our driver Bin was a friendly and safe driver. I would recommend Bin and also the trip.

We had an excellent excursion with Hoang. He was a very polite and considerate driver and took us to a very good lunch spot. I can highly recommend him.

No Xa was a fantastic driver for the day. He was very friendly, easy to chat to chat to and his English was great. He was very accommodating happy to adapt to suit our requests. No made us feel at ease and gave us interesting information along the way. He was a good driver and the car was clean and comfortable. We sights along the way. The communication prior to the trip was also very smooth via WhatsApp. Wonderful trip and would highly recommend No Xa as a driver - e really enjoyed meeting and chatting with him.

Long is a wonderful driver and tour guide. He made our trip from Hue to Da Nang and Hoi An interesting, he told us everything related to the history of the places we visited. He organized everything according to our wishes. I highly recommend him.

The whole experience was amazing. Our driver Vu was great, courteous, funny and knowledgeable about the sites he took us to. He is a very good driver and the car was a comfortable new electric vehicle. He gave us the right information for the places we visited. We had a great day visiting all the amazing sites. We would highly recommend Khahn from Samtour Vietnam. He is an excellent driver, obviously, but he also took great care of us. We went via Ba Na Hills and Khanh came with us to help to buy our tickets and was ready and waiting when we had finished. He is also good company and pointed out lots of points of interest on the journey.

We were picked up at our hotel on time by Son, an experienced tour guide. Our trip went at our separate request first to the Anbang cemetery in Hue which was very interesting. It continued to the lagune and over the Hai Van Pass, Ba Na Hills with the Golden Bridge and in the end to the marble mountains. Son was a very good driver and told us al lot of the people, the way of life and also about the culture in Vietnam. Thank you Son for the phantastic trip and the perfect day. We had a great experience on this trip. Our guide Son was knowledgeable and friendly. This is a good way to travel between Hue and Hoi An if you’ve been taking a lot of public transport and want to do something different. The Hai Van Pass and Marble Mountains were a highlight. Lots of stops and options for coffee and food too.

Even with a weather that was not the best, we enjoy the experience and the freedom we had to change some places from the visit to fit better our preferences. Our time with Loi, our guide, was very enjoyable.

We were travelling from Hue to Hoi An and can't recommend this enough. Not only did we get our transport, but we saw a lot of tourist sites along the way. Mr Trung had a great knowledge of the areas and was great to talk to during the trip! We reached our destination with not only having seen the sights, but also a great deal of knowledge about Hoi An, Da Nang, Hue and Vietnam in general Thank you Mr Trung!

Our driver Leo was amazing. He picked us on time and drove with precaution. He was very attentive and fun. He also had the schedule very clear so we were able to do everything on time. We got very good views and pictures.

Loi (our guide) and My (our driver) were fabulous. They couldn't have been more helpful! My husband, friends and I travelled from the port to see The Golden Bridge. It was quite a foggy day but we still had a great time. Loi took some fun photos of us too. We also stopped at some beautiful tourist spots as well as trying some salt coffee and oysters. Loi was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his country. He spoke excellent English and has a food sense of humour. We all felt in very safe hands with the driver and had a super day away from the cruise 😊

We booked a private transfer from Hue to Hoi An, with sightseeing. It took 6 hours. Our driver Son was very well spoken in English and knew the history of Vietnam. He took us to the Lap An Lagon, Hai van pass, the fisher harbour of Da Nang, the Monkey mountain with the big lady Buddha (it was great) and the Marble mountain (nice if you like caves). We really recommend you to book Son, we booked him via GetYour Guide.

Great trip! And Son was the best driver. Cool and concentrated while still being able to give info on the way and off course answer questions. As it was cloudy and rainy we skipped the bridge and town in the mountains, so Son quickly took us somewhere else instead. Would recommend anytime!

We took the Trip with Alex. It was a great experience! Not only did we get to see the different sight along the way but Alex made the trip special for us. He was fluent in English and gave us lots of insight to the places we visited. With his knowledge and the historical context he provided we learnt a lot. Alex was a wonderful driver that made us feel safe from pick up to drop off. I cannot recommend this company enough. Would come back anytime!!!

Loi was absolutely brilliant, he really couldn’t do enough for us, he was a superstar. The stops on the tour were great and a perfect way to break up the journey. Me and my partner took longer than expected exploring Ba Na Hills however Loi waited patiently and still made sure we made the last stop, Marble Mountains. Really recommend taking this trip with Loi if you are going from Hue to Hoi An (or the other way), he was more than a driver, he gave lots of information and took lots of photos of us, and was extremely friendly 😊 Thanks Loi!

A wonderful way to get from Hue to Hoi An. Especially loved the cemetery ! Ben was very nice and was able to answer all of our questions.

Our guide was Alex, who picked us up on time from our hotel. The car was clean and super comfortable, and Alex had some water and coconut crackers waiting for us. Throughout the trip he talked us through the history of the sites we were visiting, and other general history of Vietnam. The agenda was flexible and Alex was more than happy to accommodate where we wanted to go and how long we wanted to stay there. When we got to Ba Na Hill the weather didn't look great, so he was happy to take us up to Marble Mountain. Along the way we stopped off at a restaurant for lunch that Alex recommended, and he followed up after the trip with some tips for places to eat in Hoi An. Overall a great experience, and we're really glad we chose to take the car tour over sitting in a bus or train!!

We had Tin as our driver for 3 days and he was amazing! The car was always icy cold and waters were ready for us when we got back in, He was always early for each pick up and communicates great. He has a lot of the knowledge of the area and is very easy to talk to he also made a lot of great local suggestions for us. He made traveling from spot to spot so easy. Having a driver made better use of our time as we never had to wait or park or find a Grab. Traveling with an 11 year was made so much easier by Tin. We would definitely use him again. Thank you!

Fantastic tour from Hue to Hoi An with our very friendly local driver, Loi. We saw same fantastic views and we're given plenty of opportunities to stop, take pictures and sample local cuisine. Loi not only drove us safely from A to B but gave ua lots of information about the local area as well. An all day excursion for an extremely reasonable price! Our driver Loi picked us up on time at our hotel at 8:00 am. He provided us with cold water bottles for the duration of the trip. We stopped in Lang Co Bay and Hai Van Pass to admire the view and had a coffee. We then headed to Sun World Ba Na Hills to see the Golden Bridge and the amusement park. Unfortunately for us, the weather was bad and the cable car was shut down so we weren’t able to go to the top and see the bridge. Sun World refunded us without asking any questions. We stopped for lunch and then visited Marble Mountain. Loi then dropped us at our hotel. You can expect this tour to take 8-10h, depending on how much time you spend in each location.

Amazing tour with a lot of breathtaking views and unforgatable experiences in a professional and friendly company. A lot of new knowledge about the history and culture as well. Highly recommended.

Totally worth it!!! Beautiful views all the way, very comfortable car with internet and cold water. But what made it really special was our drive Nam. Telling us the story of the places we went to, giving us all the instructions not to get lost in the attractions, very good photographer and he even let us play our music all the way!! Our trip from Hue to Hoi A wouldn’t have been the same without this tour. Thank you ver much Nam!

As a family my wife and I and our adult son travelled from Hoi An to Hue in April 2024. Excellent service. Our driver Tien was very courteous and helpful. We also learnt a lot from him about life in Vietnam. The car was well air conditioned and cimfortable. We stopped at Marble Mountain, Golden bridge theme park, and Lagoon. It took 9 hours but could be a lot shorter by leaving out the stops, especially the Golden bridge that we didn't realise necessitates a cable car and funicular railway journey, for all of which there are long queues. It was too busy for our liking but we had a good lunch in Four Seasons restaurant at the top of the mountain The views were wonderful. Overall enjoyable but rather too long.

The best tour guide we've had since coming to Vietnam. He was knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and very accommodating. He was well worth the price. One of the highlights of my trip!

We have a fantastic day with Ben. Our stops were carefully thought out so we could make the most of each stop with advice and tips shared along the way. Ben assisted with purchasing tickets and refreshments and had plenty of cold water in the car (even at the end of the day it was still cold). Ben shared a lot of information about and history of the Vietnamese people. He was personable and funny and offered to take photos at all the stops. The car was comfortable clean and new. Be a driving was excellent. Calm and stuck to the speed limits.

An unforgettable VIP experience from start to finish. Vu greeted us in the hotel lobby and showed us to our modern and comfortable private car for the day. Not only did we see the beauty of the area from the best view points, away from other tourists, Vue helped us in organizing our tickets which saved us time and he was always waiting patiently for our return. He has so much knowledge and enthusiasm to share, we learned so much about normal life and the culture in Vietnam. We had an amazing day with Vu as our driver and guide. We were picked up from our hotel in Hue and driven to a lagoon and beach on the way to the Hai Van Pass. We then drove over the Hai Van pass stopping at loads of good view points for pictures. We decided we didn't want to go to the golden bridge as we hadn't realised it was an amusement park so Vu offered to take us to Monkey Mountain instead where we saw the largest Buddha statue in Vietnam, pagodas, and monkeys for free. He then took us to the Marble mountains and then to our hotel in Hoi An. We also stopped off for lunch in Da Nang at Vu's restaurant recommendation and had the best Vietnamese pancake. Vu was such a friendly and helpful guide who speaks perfect English. He also gave us unlimited bottles of cold water and his car was very comfortable. This was our favourite day in Vietnam so far! Definitely worth the price.

He arrived early, his English was excellent, and he was super easy to talk to. We learned a lot about the culture. He was was thoughtful and accommodating and made it easy for us. We had a great day with our driver Long. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was great to do this as a private tour as Long flexed the timings around us making sure we got the most from the day. We managed to be at the last photo stop for sunset, which was perfect. I would highly recommend.
