Hue To Hoi An Private Car With Sightseeing Via Hai Van Pass

We had Mr De as our driver for the ride from Hue to Hoi An, with stops. We were allowed to change our destination (was originally Danang) and paid extra for this, grateful for the flexibility. Mr De was very friendly, chatty, we never felt rushed at any of the stops. Regretfully we didn't stop at Lang Co Beach, so make sure you check with driver beforehand and confirm all stops. Very comfy ride. The lagoon was lovely and the views along the pass, Marble Mountain too, all good. Thank you Mr De and Hoang for arranging.

Was pickup at the hotel on time and had a lovely trip with Hoa the driver that was very careful and tells me a lot along the road. Very nice time even with the weather but it’s like that for the season. Very clean car and safe driving I recommend for a transfer. Marble mountain was very nice to see, a bit of exercise Thanks to Hoa again for the sharing

We did two trips with Mr Ron, Hue to Hoi An and then Hoi An to Da Nang airport with sightseeing in between. Mr Ron is friendly and helpful, with lots of local insights. The car is clean and comfortable. The restaurant recommendations were great to try local foods.

We really enjoyed our tour and it was very comfortable and at our own pace. Mr. Tuan was very nice, amigable and respectful. He never rushed us nor forced us to do a stop or buy anything that we didn’t wanted to. We felt safe and pampered the whole time. The van was super comfortable as well. Booking the tour with Mrs. Hong was also a very smooth process. Everything was amazing!

We did Hoi An to Hue with Calvin who was great. He picked us up punctually from our hotel and was courteous, friendly and informative, pointing out a few things on the drive that we would otherwise have missed. My Son Sanctuary was well worth adding to the basic trip - it’s a beautiful setting and interesting/sad to see the ruined temples and the bomb craters from the war. Marble Mountain wasn’t really our thing, but scenery and misty views were lovely over Hai Van pass & we loved the restaurant on Lang Co beach. Took about 9.5 hours as we spent quite a while at My Son and felt like good value for the transfer + sightseeing

We had a great trip with Mr An from Hue to Hoi An! He was very friendly and pointed out lots of interesting features as we were driving along, on top of our designated stops. The car itself was very clean, with snacks, and we felt very safe with his driving. Would definitely recommend Mr A for anyone looking to do this trip!

This was a great trip! Truong picked us up no problem at all - great communication the day before which removed any concerns. He gave us lots of useful tips and local info on the drive which we wouldn’t have had with out him. Lots of photo stops on the way too.

We were staying in Hue and trying to decide how we would transfer to Hoi An. It was a very last minute decision the switch from getting a bus to booking on a Hai Van Pass tour. We spoke to Hani at Explore Vietnam, she was amazingly helpful sourcing us a private car and two Easy Rider bikes for our daughters within 20 minutes. All was booked for the next day’s adventure. We were collected from our hotel on time. The English-speaking Easy Rider guide and his colleague were delightful. They were friendly, helpful and lots of fun for our daughters. The driver of our private car was just as good, he drove well, was helpful, very attentive and patient whilst we explored the many sites en route to Hoi An. Hani had managed to provide a slightly larger car which meant all 4 bags could be packed into the boot while we had a comfortable ride. We stopped at the oyster lake for coffee, a walk along the lagoon beach and a paddle in the sea, at the top of the Hai Van Pass before we headed down into Da Nang and Marble Mountain were we ate lunch at a restaurant recommended by our driver (good noodles) before exploring the many caves and temples of Marble Mountain. Our daughters had taken a slightly different route taking in the national park and local villages We arrived at our homestay in Hoi An safely, meeting up with our daughters- all of us having had a great day

We had a fantastic day. Our driver picked us up at our hotel and from there we went to our first stop: Hai Van Pass and then to Lap A Lagoon. In Hue, our guide was waiting for us: she explained everything in detail and with passion. She also took us for lunch at a very good local place! I recommend this tour to everyone! Truong has taken us through the route in a perfect way. He has stopped in every point of interest and waited us untill we had finished. Besides, he drives perfect!!!!!

Ngo Thi Kim Hong (Rose) has been a great tour guide during the trip of Perfum River in Hue. Her English is great. She was very kind all the time and her explanations about the the monuments and history were very interesting, she has lot of knowledge. I needed to go to the pharmacy and she helped me to get what I needed- even speaking with the nativa pharmacist. Apart from being an excelent guide in Hue, she helped me with the Vietnam’s organitation trip giving me best tips. She helped me in Sapa to get the tickets to go to Fansipan mountain. Thanks of her we contract the trip and cruise in HALONG BAY and everything was perfect. The same with the transfer from Hoian to Hue, she conected with a great driver and English speaker. Everything went perfect with her. Do not easitate to contact her if you are planing to go to Vietnam and make sure she is your guide in Hue! She is a great photographer as well! Best pics of the trip were made by her!

It was an amazing experience to be in Hue. Our guide Miss Hồng was able to take us through the Citadel, Pagoda and the Incense Market despite our flight getting late by 3 hours. We thank her for her hospitality ❤️🫶 she speaks fluent English

We booked an SUV on a Saturday morning and got a confirmation in the afternoon. We wanted an one way trip from Hue to Hoi An. Our driver Troung came on time and indeed he was an excellent driver ( just like what previous review stated). He was very good in everything. Highly recommended.

We purchased two services from Explore Vietnam. 1 local sightseeing in Hue and drop back to Da Nang 2. Da Nang to Marble Mountain and Hoi An tour with Guide. Both the tours were so nicely managed. The drivers in both the trips and guide Katie in the Hoi An trip were really great and professional. Katie really did fabulous job and connecting us so well with places around.They were extremely helpful and shared lot of insights about the places , timed it very well and helped us with Shopping and ATMs. If we go again to Vietnam, we will blindly consider Explore Vietnam again for our local tours. The tour Guide Ms Hong, was very accomodating, fast in responding to our queries and very efficient. They have a very good English speaking Tour guide. I highly recommended their team to tour you around Danang, Hue City and Hoi An. Excellent service and their tour prices are reasonable.

My husband and I had a private car take us from Hue to Hoi An with sightseeing via Hai Van Pass. Our driver, Truong, was wonderful. We stopped at many interesting photo spots on the way and had a nice break and coffee in Lang Co. Truong was very informative and friendly. We also stopped at Marble Mountain and had plenty of time to climb to the top which was a nice way to break up our long journey.

Well organized, very friendly contact, good driver and very knowledgeable and friendly guide in Hue. It was very nice that Natalie considered the needs of our 6-year-old son (showing him special things, ordering food he may like). Very good lunch, and thank you for organizing the extra dragon boat trip.

My girlfriend and I took a private car from Hue to Hoi An via the Hai Van Pass and had a wonderful day! Our driver Truong was fantastic. He picked us up directly from our hotel in Hue and dropped us at our hotel in Hoi An. We were able to stop at 4 or 5 places on the pass to take pictures, we had a nice stop before the pass for coffee and a small beach. Our driver took us to a nice restaurant in Denang, and accommodated my girlfriend's request to stop at another coffee shop in Denang. The Marble Mountains surpassed our expectations. My girlfriend and I were very happy we chose to travel by car and have a bunch of stops along the route as opposed to a bus or the train to Denang. We were very happy!

Hong was a guide who spent the day with us on the River Boat Trip. From the moment she picked us up she was friendly funny and informative and we really enjoyed spending our time with her and couldn’t recommend her more. The following day Truong was a driver who picked us up from our hotel in Hue and drove us to Hoi An. He was an excellent driver, very cautious and careful. He had the utmost discretion and didn’t talk all the time but answered our questions. This company was so professional and punctual - I couldn’t recommend them more.

Excellent private tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgable and gave us a fantastic day in Hoi An. We learnt about history, art, culture and much more. Our guide introduced us to local food and all of us wnjoyed each amd every meal. We were very happy and satisfied with our tour guide as he was very kind and spoke excellent English. Super professional company and driver. Booking was seamless and I got a response immediately. I appreciated that driver Mr. Truong personally sent me a message the night before our trip to introduce himself and confirm our meeting. He arrived early and met us in the lobby to take our bags, spoke excellent English, was very polite, had waters ready for us, knew all the great photo spots, escorted us to make sure we crossed roads and walkways safely, offered to take our photos, and was just overall attentive and professional. He is also very knowledgeable about the area and answered all our questions. Overall, great communication and service at a fair price. Our driver Truong was excellent. He drove very safely on the whole trip and stopped at all the viewpoints for photos. He also made great suggestions for drink and food stops along the way and we had a great meal at a seafood restaurant

Great tour. Easy to arrange by message. Even had to amend last minute due to hotel changes but no problem. Driver Truong very good driver. Answered all questions we asked and gave information on route and happy to wait for us at stops. Have used this company twice to arrange tours and transfers between hotels.

We did the private motorbike tour from Hue to Hoi An as a group of 3 and absolutely loved it. Sam was our group leader and my driver and he spoke really good English and gave us a plethora of information about the places we visited along the way. We stopped for a seafood lunch in a great spot and the food was delicious. Overall a great experience!!

We did the Hue to Hoi An tour as a group of 3 and had an amazing time. I organised the tour via WhatsApp and they were quick to respond and got us booked in pretty last minute. They arrived on time to pick us and our bags up and unfortunately it was raining the morning of our tour but we were well kitted out in waterproof gear that they provided. We had great easy riders - Sam, Tho and Minh - who were so friendly, always helped us with our gear and getting on/off the bikes, didn’t make us feel rushed at the stops and Sam in particular shared a lot of his great knowledge with us. We even had a last minute change of plans / route and they were super accommodating to our requests. Saw some beautiful scenery, had a lovely seafood lunch on the beach and went swimming in the waterfall. No complaints at all and not a bad word to say about the experience - definitely would recommend! Thank you Sam, Tho and Minh for a great day! :)

I did a last minute booking with Explore Vietnam, but they were very prompt in arranging cab service as per my requirement. Truong drove us to Hoi An and along the way showed us all the good spots. Great guy with lots of patience and knowledge about everything. The day was truly well spent.
