Today our trip from Hué to Hoi An was beautiful, with stops at the bay, the Hai Van pass, Lapan lagoon and the my Son sanctuary. Plenty of time to see it all and we could determine our own time schedule. The experience was made particularly nice by our driver Khanh! He could tell us a lot about the surrounding area and had plenty of options to get lunch or drinks. Thank you for the trip!
Son took us to very interesting places on our transfer from Hue to Danang. It was our second wonderful day with him and he took us to out of the way places that we didn’t know about as well as some more well known ones. It made the transfer from Hue to Danang very easy and very interesting. We stopped for something to eat at a restaurant by some oyster farms - delicious food! (Including great oysters!) He gave us lots of background information about what we were seeing.

We have just spent two days with Son travelling from Phong Nha - Hue - Hoi An and highly recommend Son’s services. We first met Son in 2024 when we spent a few days in Hue. He showed us around the city, including some hidden gems! We love how passionate he is about his country and all the information he shared with us. We will definitely see Son when we are back - he’s given us some good ideas for our next adventure!
Our guide Son was wonderful—patient, caring, and funny. He took us from Hue to Ba Na Hills, and along the way we visited the unique An Bang Cemetery, Lady Buddha, cozy coffee spots, and a great local seafood restaurant right on the beach. It was a long day, but we shared stories and the time passed quickly. A few days later, we ran into Son again at Marble Mountain, and he gave us great advice on what not to miss there. If you are interested in Ba Na Hills, book one night in the hotel there and you will see all the sights at night and also in the morning before the park opens at 8 am.

From the moment of our enquiry to the moment we got dropped off in Hoi an the service was brilliant. We travelled from Hue to Hoi an, stopping at Lap an Lagoon, lang co beach, Hai van pass and marble mountain. Hein was our driver and looked after us well. He was a safe driver and shared lots of good facts on the journey, very knowledgeable with good English. Supplied us with cold water too highly needed on such a hot day. Vinh collected us promptly from our hotel in Hue and took us, via the listed attractions, to our HoiAn hotel. We managed to communicate easily with Google Translate and it was good to be able to ask questions about the sights we saw. We didn't stay long at the Marble Mountains as it was so hot. Vinh provided us with any bottled water that we needed and was very pleasant.
I had seen a good review from a Vietnam group I was a member of and messaged the TMS Tours team on WhatsApp. They responded straightaway with options, pricing and availability. Although the weather let us down on our trip from Hue to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass & Marble Mountain was good everything ran smooth and the pricing was competitive. The team checked in with me the day later and provided suggestions of where to eat in Hoi An and I asked for pricing and availability for a private car for My Son Sanctuary for the next morning. Driver arrived on time at the hotel and we had a great experience. I recommend TMS Tours, they take the hassle and stress out of trying to find a decent driver who can also speak English. I was able to pay the driver directly which was also comforting.

Wow! We engaged TSM Tours to arrange a number of transfers and tours for us whilst in Denang, Hoi An and Hue. We would highly recommend Son from TSM Tours! Me and my friend from Australia booked Son to drive us from Hoi An to Hue. He was very friendly, talkative, polite, informative and passionate about his job and country. He took us to marble mountains, Hai Van Pass, a famous beach and an oyster farm. We had such a great experience that we then also booked him for the following day for a day trip around Hue where Son was very very knowledgeable. Son even took us to a local restaurant that a tourist would never find so we could try local food which was a highlight of the day!! It was a very hot day and Son was very thoughtful and even provided us extra water. When I come back to Vietnam with my partner some day I will definitely be booking Son again!
We organised this transfer the day before. Reliable and on time. Clean van big enough for our family of six (including four who are over six foot 5 tall) with plenty of room for luggage.

I really can’t put into words how amazing, kind, accommodating, and fun Son and Sua are. I first met Son and Sua when they had a home stay in Hue during COVID. I stayed with them the whole lock down, so I got to know how amazing they are. They took me in like family and made sure I had everything I needed. I honestly will never be able to repay them for that time. So, when my partner and I decided to go back to visit Vietnam, we called Son and Sua to take us around. I wouldn’t trust anybody else. They took us all around to places I didn’t even know about. They were patient with our trying new food and helped us order things we would have never been able to try without them. They will not disappoint and you’ll leave the tour knowing you have two amazing friends in Vietnam that will always be there for you. These are the two you want showing you around, don’t use anybody else. Thank you two, for everything.
Fantastic tour today with Son! He is a fantastic person, very careful driver (being usually car sick in serpentine roads, I didn’t feel a thing). Son is incredibly friendly, polite and speaks English very well — he patiently waited for us at every stop to take photos and provided information about the areas we passed by. We stopped for dinner at a lovely local restaurant and had the most fantastic view overseeing the sea —and the freshest fish!!! he was very very kind and made our day fantastic!!! All in all, a unique day with a great person! Thank you Son!!! Couldn’t recommend enough! Ask for Son next time you book 😉

We had a really great time with Son who gave us good advices for our stay in Hoi An. The tour from Hué to Hoi An was very interesting and made the trip between these 2 cities useful with nice stops (lagoon, Lang Co Beach, Hai Van Pass and Marble Mountain).
I contacted TSM a few days in advance through What’s App. They responded quickly, with a tremendous amount of relevant and useful information. I wanted to travel by scooter from Hue to Danang. They offered their regular tour from Hue to Hoi An explaining that the final tourist site was near Danang so I wouldn’t go out of my way, or miss anything by stopping before Hoi An. They also understood that having ridden a scooter for the first time earlier this month I was a beginner and I wanted to be a driver, not a rider. They sent me out with Quynh - an experienced tour guide who was not at all phased by my inexperience or my wish to divert from the tour schedule. Once he understood what I was looking for he made sure to stop for all of the best views. And didn’t mind that I wasn’t actually interested in going to the final tour stop. We had a lovely ride. I felt safe & protected the entire time. I also felt like I got to experience the beauty of being in the Vietnamese countryside and the adrenaline thrill of riding through Hue & Danang on a scooter by myself. I highly recommend both TSM tours as a company & Quinh as a guide.
Great journey from Hoi An to Hue . Tony was an excellent driver - felt very safe. He was really informative and stopped at some lovely places for photos/ sightseeing. Nothing was too much trouble. (Even driving searching his car for hubbys lost phone and then Driving back across town to return it. Sorry Tony!) Would definitely recommend:-)

I did the trip from Hue to Hoi An. Dung, my driver was such a nice guy, he came in and found me in the hotel lobby, carried my luggage and had water waiting in the car. We started out towards Hoi An with all the stops I wanted on the way. Ghost city (wow), a stop on the way when there was an opportunity to take nice photots, Lap An Lagoon (very good for photography), Hai Van pass - it wasn't Dung's fault that we had to drive through the clouds to get up there, so there really weren't much of a view from there. But we did a stop on our way down where I could see all the way to Da Nang. He then drove me to Bana Hills - I recommend buying your ticket online, as you then get to skip the first line - and patiently waited just over 3 hours for me to come back down from seeing golden hands bridge. We arrived in Hoi An around 6pm after an entertaining and VERY comfortable trip. 10/10 would recommend Dung and TSM to other travellers.
Sherlock and Thong took us on a fabulous day trip from HoiAn to Hue. We visited the Hai Van Pass, La Pang Lagoon, Hue Citadel Purple Palace, Thien Mu Pagoda and Incense Village. Sherlock was very knowledgeable, funny and friendly. Thong drove very well and safely. They also took us for a lovely lunch near the Citadel. We would thoroughly recommend these guys for your tours.
Bana Hills, Hoi An, Danang and Hue was an incredible journey. Bana Hills' Golden Bridge and Hoi An's lantern-lit streets were highlights. The historical richness of Hue's imperial city was awe-inspiring. TSM have very professional, fun, informative and caring tour guides (Sherlock and Bryan), and transportation driver Binh inlcuding Tran the coordinator were all excellent team. Did this tour via motorbike and it was fantastic ! Our tour guides were awesome and took us to see amazing places ! Had plenty of time in all locations and when we had a craving for Bahn Mi and peach iced tea they took us to the local eatery which was so good ! The abandoned water park was a highlight and a must see if you like things all spooky and strange. It was definitely easier to get to via motorbike that it would have been in a car. Highly recommend TSM tours for a great day out .
Our driver Man was great, We were picked up feom hotel, Man was ready waiting before the departure time. We stopped off at four locations along the way for us get photos also included a food (BBQ Oysters) and beverage stop. One place was a little off the beaten path, which I requested. We hired two drivers to take us on a round trip tour from Da Nang to Hue by motorbike. The booking experience was very smooth. TSM really paid attention to our wants and customized the tour for us. The drivers picked us up from our hotel and could speak English very well. They drove carefully and knew all the right places to stop for amazing pictures. They also treated us to a coffee on the Hai Van pass. We made 5 different stops on our tour of Hue and there was no pressure on us to compete any part of the tour in a certain amount of time. The drivers constantly reminded us not to rush through anything and were happy to wait for us at each stop. The tour included all the main attractions of Hue for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.
WOW!!! This was an amazing experience! My friends and I booked this tour from Hue-Hoi An via the hai van pass on motorcycles and it was probably our favorite experience of all the many things we’ve done in Vietnam over the last two weeks. Our tour guides Quynh, Nhan, and Thu were so awesome! They picked us up from our hotel in Hue and gave us ponchos for the rain. They made many stops along the way and told us about the history and culture of each area we were in. They were all so nice, friendly, helpful, and very safe on the motorcycle! They made sure we always had water or beer and at our lunch stop, Quynh even peeled our shrimp for us! Not only were the guides amazing but OMG the views along the way!!! Super stunning and breathtaking! We stopped at a hot springs/waterfall area and enjoyed a few beers before heading to lunch at a seafood restaurant on the beach. Then it’s off to the Hai Van Pass which is unreal! We went over the dragon bridge in Da Nang and then upon arriving in Hoi An, Quynh took us to a custom made clothing shop he recommended. We had SO. MUCH. FUN!!! I HIGHLY recommend this tour on your visit to Vietnam! I suggest you request our 3 tour guides as well! I would come to Vietnam just to do this experience!
I did the tour with Thinh and was absolutely amazing. Spoke perfect English and knew a lot to tell about the places we visited. It was easy to follow him on the route and he made some beautiful pictures of me. I drove myself and he kept a really nice speed and was easy to follow. Felt safe on the road all the time. Even after the trip was done he wrote me with extra things i could do in Hoi an. Would recommend him to anyone. The tour itself was also perfect. I had enough time at all the stops and wasn’t rushed.
We spent an excellent day traveling between Hue and Hoi An, with our perfectly English-speaking driver, Khahn. He suggested regular stops, showed patience, and gave us time to allow us to visit each site: Lap An Lagoon, Hai Van Pass, and the Marble Mountain site (plan for the fees for each entrance).
