The most expensive and beautiful tomb in over the world. It is out of the traditional custome and architecture. A mixture among Hinduism, Buddism, Christianity, Vietnamese and French architectures. Inside the tomb, you would say twice " WOW WOW" i promise you because it is super beautiful.
A great tour with lots of history. Out guide aka "Tom" was very knowledgable, accommodating and the luncheon superb. Well worth the money (and especially on such a very hot day!!! The AC vehicle was much appreciated.
This was a great tour. Our tour guide was wonderful, personable, friendly and very informative. Everything was well organized. We were offered water several times and the minivan was very clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. The boat ride was unremarkable however. I can see how it could be nice at sunset time. The pagoda we visited in the morning could also be a nice thing to visit at the end of the tour in the late afternoon. It’s also a bit unpleasant that the boat is a gift shop and that the lady was a bit pushy to sell us souvenirs. Lunch was also subpar. But overall, it’s a great tour if you only have one day in Hue like we did.
We had an amazing time. Binh (Bobby) knows the history of his city to the deepest detail. He is also an amazing story teller, I could listen to him for hours without getting bored. The sites we visited were all worth a visit - Pagoda, Citadel, Forbidden city, markets, Mausolea of the Emperors. The pace was perfect and the transportation punctual. We had a nice lunch at a local restaurant. Definitely recommended, particularly if Binh is your guide
We have noticed that in Vietnam we book tours that look great, then they surpass all expectations. This was the best tour yet & we’ve taken many. Our guide was absolutely superb, her knowledge of the subject was extensive and she answered all of our (many!) questions with skill & accuracy. We had a fabulous lunch, saw incense being made, visited UNESCO world heritage sites. It was wonderful day around beautiful Hue. We couldn’t be happier.
Penny was our tour guide. She is so knowledgable and energetic, we had lots of fun during our day trip. Despite the heat, she organized the itinerary well so that we’d have time to see the history of Hue and have some rest time. I would highly recommend Penny as your tour guide.
Fantastic tour, our guide Austin was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Absolutely spectacular tombs and the history of the imperial city is fascinating. There is a lot of walking and stairs however, be prepared!
I don't usually book day tours but this time, I gave it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. Transportation went smoothly and the visits were interesting and diversified. Our guide, M. Ngoc., was really kind, attentive to our wishes and helpful when we visited Dong Ba market. He also shared many interesting anecdotes. The tour was a success thanks to him !
We had a really great day and experience visiting all the different places with Hui, our guide. We would have missed so much information by doing it on our own ! Hui was extremely nice and knowledgeable, and willing to share with us and answer any questions we had about the monuments, as well as about Vietnam and Vietnamese people in general. And the lunch was delicious, in a very quit restaurant in the countryside. The booking process was very swift, we did the request late in the evening and received almost immediately a confirmation for the following day. We highly recommend this tour and this agency.
This was a great day, the driver and our guide, Rossi, were both lovely and Rossi was very knowledgable and spoke very good English. We were on our own as others cancelled, Rossi was kind enough to change the itinerary at our request. The lunch stop was in a rural location, the owners were kind and the food was very good, much home grown! We had a very enjoyable day and would highly recommend this your.
Very good quality and scient itinerary for 1 day to visit all Hue highlights. Our guide Bobby was knowledgeable and thoughtful. He told us a interesting stories about the Emperors. We loved the royal tombs and lunch as also very tasty. 100% recommend this small group tour.

We selected the half day tour with lunch. There was 13 in total in the group. Mr Minh was a great tour guide, shared lots of interesting points about the historical sites we visited & happily answered our questions. Minh also accommodated for some of our family needs (ie. less stairs) without making a fuss. The lunch was a delight! Finishing with a foot spa was a pleasant surprise.
The deluxe group tour was wonderful from beginning to end. Our guide Bihn was very knowledgeable and informative about each of our destinations, in particular the Heavenly Lady Pagoda, The citadel and the Nguyen dynasty. We also had a typical Vietnamese lunch at Madam Thu's which was so nice we went back there the day after for dinner. All in all an excellent trip and good value for money. Would highly recommend.
A brilliant tour covering all the major spots you need to see in Hué. Bobby was our guide and he was so lovely and enthusiastic. He offered lots of information on the history of all the places we visited. The citadel was a lot bigger than expected with lots to see. Our favourite was also the tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh. I personally also really enjoyed having the chance to roll an incense stick on one of the unexpected quick stops. Pick up and drop off at hotel was very smooth and easy. Would definitely recommend as a day tour to cover most of Hué in a day.
Nice small minibus tour with eight other people, so lovely to be in a small group, and get to know some fellow travellers for the day. We saw all the main sites in Hue, the two king’s tombs, that we visited at the end of the tour were exceptional. Note : The final one had lots of steps, and it was exceedingly hot. Bobby our tour Guide was fantastic, he couldn’t do enough to help, great insight on the history of Hue and very nice. We really enjoyed the group lunch, in a local Vietnamese restaurant. Lovely food.
We had a great day with our guide, Binh. His English was quite good, and he was knowledgeable about everything we saw. In addition to the Imperial City and tombs - which were all very interesting, he also made a stop at a little place where they showed us how incense sticks are made. The only part of the day we could have done without was the Dragon Boat on the Perfume River. There wasn’t much to see, and there was no commentary. We were basically a captive audience for the boat lady to try to sell her souvenirs. That being said, it was still a great tour that I would recommend!
The tour was fantastic. Our guide Rossi (his chosen name - taken from Italian football player) was great. Pace was good, locations wonderful and his English very good. We came away with a very good background of Vietnam as Rossi had such good knowledge of the history and culture. Really was a great day out. She took us to the citadel, Hue's oldest pagoda, on a boat ride on the Perfume River etc and to try local Hue foods at lunch. Her driver, Q, was also very accommodating in assisting our family. We had a tour with Binh and he was excellent, we have been on a few on our trip and this one was by far the best. Binh’s English was very good so it wasn’t hard for us to follow along and learn about all the interesting facts. The trip had a great flow and balance, Binh would explain all the Interesting facts then give us time to roam around and enjoy the experience at our own pace. The destinations were amazing, very well organised, would definitely recommend and would 100% recommend. One thing to note is that it does say pick up is offered but it’s not included if you’re outside the city area. They will still pick you up but for a small fee.
My friends and I are on the second leg of our 5 week SE Asia holiday traveling through 4 different countries. At each city we have tried to book day tours through Trip Advisor to try to hit all the “must see” attractions in each town and the guided tour in Hue was easily the best overall tour we have experienced. Our amazing guide Ms. Trinh had the bubbliest personality - extremely friendly, professional, and we learned so much about the culture and history of not only Hue, but the Vietnamese culture. Ms. Trinh’s English was impeccable and it stimulated so many questions and interesting discussions throughout the tour. We never felt rushed or experienced any lulls during the 8 hour tour and the lunch which consisted of local Hue cuisine was plentiful and delicious! Our entire group of seven hands down said this day tour was the best! A big thanks to Ms. Trinh - highly recommend you request her for your tour of Hue!
Sang, our tour guide picked us up with Tri, our driver, at about 8am. We had in total four people on the tour, so it was very intimate. We were taken to the dragon boat station from which we then took a 45min dragon boat ride. The motor is a little loud so I suggest sitting as far away from it as possible. But it was still a nice ride. We left the boat and went to Thien Mu Pagoda and for me, the highlight here was seeing the car which the monk who sacrificed himself in Saigon drove. But it was all very interesting. Tri then drove us to the Citadel where we went through numerous rooms. We then drove to the Dong Ba Market, where we saw the numerous items that the Vietnamese buy on a daily basis. We then went to the Madame Thu restaurant for lunch where we had spring rolls, pancakes, chicken, fish, steamed rice etc. after lunch, we had some time to wash our feet in some warm water with green tea and lemongrass. After being refreshed, we then drove about 30mins to Emperor Minh Mang tomb which was pretty before then driving to the Tomb of Khai Dinh where we had to climb a bunch of steps. It was pretty beautiful, but a little bit of hard work. Finally, we went to an incense village where we were taught and had a try at making incense. We then finished back at the hotel all by 4:30. Sang worked hard to answer all our questions and make sure we were all aware of the information at each stop. He even provided me with more information for my next stop Hoi An.

We really enjoyed our guided tour. Our guide Mr Hoang was informative and went at just the right pace for our group. He was easy to talk to, and made the history come to life.
Really good tour package. Works with small groups. In fact, we were only 4 members. The guide Ms. Van (or Fi) was really good - good communication and really knowledgeable, given she's studied Vietnamese cultural studies at University. We really enjoyed the citadel and the tomb of Minh Mang.

It was very interesting to see the Buddhist pagoda, the citadel (and the gardens and various buildings inside), and the 2 tombs of the emperors! Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained things very well. The restaurant for lunch provided delicious food and great service!

It was a fantastic experience. Guide Ruby told an extensive story of Hue and all the significant sightseeing spots we visited. If someone doesn't have too much time for Hue - I strongly recommend using this tour for Hue and their history overview!
We only had one day to look around Hue, and this tour was great to experience a taste of what the city has to offer. Our tour guide, Ruby, was very informative and friendly. She even assisted us with organising a private car for our transport after the tour.

My wife and I had a fantastic time with the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was fluent in English. He even knew all the best spots to take pictures of us at each site. There was a small mixup with our pickup but as soon as we called and said we had been missed they sent a guide and private driver to take us around all day. That let me know the company was professionally run and interested in maintaining a good reputation. Easily a 5 star rating

Ruby was a fabulous guide. She was friendly, and knowledgeable and shared information clearly at each venue we toured. She helped us navigate the market, imparted a few history lessons at the Citadel and tombs of former kings, shared a great meal with us, and introduced us to some really delicious local drinks at various food stalls. Wow! Just wow! This was such an incredibly action packed day. What makes it so special was the way our guide (Ruby) explained do much about what we were seeing. She answered all our questions. This was so worthwhile. There is NO WAY we could have done this ourselves and gained so much knowledge. The organisation from booking to completion was also very efficient.
