I learned so much about the splendour and history of the Imperial City from this tour, thanks to our guide Ms. Ha Nguyen! She gave such a comprehensive picture of the gorgeous palace complex that really brought it to life. There were a range of stories shared, about the day-to-day to significant events, which are super interesting!

Getting kids to walk through historic sites can be a challenge, but our guide Trinh made our outing such a delight for the whole family with a relaxed and flexible pace and interesting and relatable stories. We had a great time.
We had such a great time on this tour and learned a lot. Also, we were lucky with timing that some of the buildings had just finished being restored. This was a great tour. Ms. Nhien was a very friendly and informed tour guide who showed me both the citadel complex and several imperial tombs around Hue over two days. She also recommended to me some amazing places to eat, which ended up being some of the best food I ate in Hue. I would definitely recommend.

I couldn’t recommend BeeBee and Thu enough. I contacted her via website to help me with a transfer from Dong Hoi to Hue and she arranged for a car and for a very honest price in comparison to other providers. I then asked if I could do a walking tour with them as well to see the Citadel and one of the tombs I was particularly interested in, as most tours include only citadel or three tombs and it’s hard to find something more bespoke. She recommended the best place for lunch where I met Ms Ha (my guide). Ms Ha was so knowledge and spoke perfect and very clear English. She could answer any questions. She made the whole tour very enjoyable and helped me also get a mosquito repellent as the minute I arrived in Hue seems like they all decided to descend on me 🫣 I would recommend to use this local company for any Hue adventures to anyone. Thank you for marking this one of my highlights of two weeks in Vietnam!
We did the tour in the morning of our first full day in Hue and it was a perfect introduction to the city and its history. Our guide clearly knew her stuff and was able to answer all our many questions. The imperial city is huge, and so the tour focussed on key areas instead of trying to cover everything. We liked this: it gave us time to really absorb what we were seeing, and then ask follow-up questions. I would recommend this tour over those that try to cover too much ground and end up being rushed.
Ha was our tour guide. Ha did a fantastic job bringing the Citadel and roy. Alex Vietnam to life. You could tell she was knowledgeable and interested in sharing this knowledge with two people who did not have a lot of background in Vietnamese history. The next day we booked the Royal Tombs tour through another agency -- when Ha happened to show up, we were delighted.
We had a most wonderful and informative tour with Tuan! He was a great tour guide and told us so many things, not only about the imperial city and Hues history, but also about life in Vietnam! We had the tour on 31th of dec 2023 and it was a great experience! Our Guide, Van was very charming. She told us so much about history, architecture and culture - and she did it with enthusiasm. Her English is great. I would gladly have a tour with her again, when I am in Vietnam next time.

3 hours tour that really helped understanding the history and all details behind the Imperial city. With a friend we spent a few days in Hué middle August this year, and got in touch last minute by mail with Bee Bee Travel to arrange a half-day tour of the imperial citadel on the day after. She not only gave us plenty of information during the visit, but made past history come alive before our eyes, while also answering our questions and curiosity on the nowadays life in Hué and Vietnam. Our guide, Ms. Ha, was both friendly extremely knowledgeable and shared the history of the citadel, Hue, and Vietnam in a way that was both informative and captivating. Her English was excellent. We did the walking tour with Ha and we found it very informative and interesting. We loved being in the imperial City and getting the inside knowledge from Ha. I’d recommend going very early in the morning if possible as it was very hot in July but we’ll worth it.

Our guide Ha was extremely nice. The tour was a great introduction to Hue’s imperial city. We enjoy the explanations of the most important buildings and day life of the citadel and Ha answered all our questions. After the tour we decided to stay a big longer inside the Citadel to explore some less visited spots on our own, which we also recommend. I took Hue Imperial City Walking Tour with Ha. She is very knowledgeable and I learned so much about the Imperial City and Vietnamese culture. Ha also told me about authentic cuisine in Hue and recommended me good places to eat. She even gave me a bike ride back to where I’m staying. Extra local Hue experience for me! Booking was very easy. The history of the Imperial City came alive with our guide Ha. Ha is very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. I am now very curious and want to read more about the Emperors. Communication and meeting set up with Beebee travel were excellent. This tour made our time in Hue very special.
