Hue Half-day Motorbike Tour - Authentic Countryside Of Vietnam, History, Culture

Motobike tour was great to see not so touristy parts of Hué, it was organised good, main guide Von was amazing, very knowledgeable and great sense of humor. Drivers were great, felt very safe navigating through busy streets and one shower. Places visited were also great, museum of local crafts and bunker hill impressed me most. It was great value for money.

The true magic of the tour was leaving the main roads to explore villages, alleyways and countryside. Mr Happy was a wonderful guide, we especially loved how he passionately explained the gruelling multi-month cycle of sowing, transplanting seedlings by hand, and harvesting. Seeing the sheer effort it takes to cultivate every single grain gave us a profound new respect for local farmers. So much to see and learn on this tour that we would not have managed on our own. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

This was a brilliant tour! Mr Happy was Very attentive and looked after us well! He was very knowledgeable of the areas he took us to. We were provided helmets, bottles of water and ponchos when it rained. Would definitely recommend.

Von is an excellent guide with a great sense of humor, making the whole experience light-hearted and enjoyable from start to finish. He creates a relaxed atmosphere and captures some truly fantastic photos along the way. I felt completely safe during the entire tour, thanks to his professional and friendly team of bike drivers who really look after you. The ride lasted about three hours and included several stops at popular tourist attractions, giving us a great overview of the area. The only improvement I’d suggest would be to include a short break to grab a snack or meal.

Just been on a great motorbike tour with Von and his team. It was a super experience being on the back of one of the motorbikes that we have seen so many of and we all had lots of fun. We all felt that we were in safe and experienced hands. We went to some really interesting places and learned a lot about Vietnamese culture and life. I would thoroughly recommend booking this trip and it has been one of the, if not the highlight of our trip so far. Many thanks to Von and the other drivers for a great time !

We had a fantastic trip around Hue in Vietnam, our visit included but not limited to a visit to the countryside understanding how the Vietnamese people lived and how they harvested the River from the fields to the final product for sale, this was a fascinating process demonstrated by a Local beautiful Lady who was fantastic in this demonstration. Then off to a local market where the farmers purchased their food for their families, then off to a farming plot in another village where the locals grow these food staples ant water them to nurture them for harvest! Then to a place called Bunker Hill, where the USA Armed Forces were stationed to try and prevent the North Vietnamese from crossing into South Vietnam. We all know how this worked out. So I can Highly recommend when visiting Hue, this motor bike - 1/2 Day tour is a must to understand the farmers way of life to feed the population of Vietnam.

This motorbike tour has to be my favourite part of my vacation this far! Our group leader, Mr Happy, really lives up to his name. Such a fun tour to be on, especially with his enthusiasm and jokes! I felt so safe on the motorbike, and everything about the tour was just amazing. Thank you so much for this experience!! :))

This tour was just brilliant . Lovely to get out of the city & see the Vietnamese’s countryside - seeing rice fields & learning how rice is harvested was so interesting as was the local food market. The drivers were excellent & felt very safe as pillion passenger & tour leader Von was really informative & great fun. Would highly recommend it - best 3 hrs of trip to Vietnam so far

This was such a fantastic experience. The tour leader Mr Happy really lives up to his name. He was so friendly, engaging and informative. The gentleman who was driving my motorbike was so helpful and nice. We were provided with free water. Throughout the tour, we were taken to a village to see how rice was made in the old days, a military outpost from the war with beautiful views around (Mr Happy shared his own personal story here which was fascinating), an incense factory where we got to drink green tea, an elephant and tiger stadium, and finally a Buddhist temple. This is an unmissable activity to do in Hue, and I would recommend everyone who visits to do it, you won’t regret it!

Such an enjoyable tour, one of my favorite things I’ve done so far. We made a few stops: village for the Japanese bridge and rice museum, war bunkers, incense shop, old tiger/elephant fighting ring, and temple. I always felt very safe on the bike. Our tour guide Mr Happy was sooo energetic and was very capable and happy to answer any and all of our questions! Helmets were provided as well as water. Doing the trip in the afternoon was perfect as by the time we got to the temple (where we needed to put on long pants and shoulders covered) we weren’t too hot because it was evening. Would recommend if you want to see the city fast!

Excellent motorcycle tour and I’d highly recommend. Having never been on the back of a motorcycle before I was a little nervous, but our tour guide Phuoc (Mr Happy) was excellent at firstly giving us a safety briefing and then checking we were all ok. The tour itself went out into the local villages and along the local roads and at no time did I feel unsafe. We travelled in convoy and stopped along the way at local places of interest i.e Rice Museum and here he demonstrated with the locals how rice is made. He was hilarious and had a great sense of humour. He made the tour!

Great day out with Mr Happy and his crew. Lots of interesting local history and an authentic Vietnam experience. Felt very safe and treated very well by the drivers. Great to get out of the city and explore the surrounding area. Highly recommend.

The bike ride itself was fantastic and provided a new perspective. Good photo ops at the village stops where we saw incense and hat making and the market. Bunker Hill was a highlight.

Very informative tour guide. Motorbike ride is fun. Made us smile, mr happy is very good, go to 4 different locations. Watch a lady make in sense and a hat, then go to a tiger cafe. All very well organised

The motorbike trip was amazing! Our tour guide Von did a great job! He was good fun and explained everything very well. We learned about growing rice on the fields, went to a local market, had a nice view on the river from bunker hill, saw how local people are making hats, etc. We tasted some green tea. The drivers know what they're doing. I felt very safe. Water and a helmet were provided. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Amazing !! Such a great experience, felt completely safe with the driver on the bike. Got to see some really great sights like the Hue Citadel colosseum and Thien Mu Pagoda. 10/10 recommend:) Von was brilliant as well, really funny& informative guide.

A great way to see a more authentic Hue, plus have you really been to Vietnam if you haven’t experienced riding a motorbike at some point on your trip! The motorbike drivers make you feel very safe and are super friendly. Mr Happy our tour guide made us feel very welcome he was super knowledgeable about Hue and true to his moniker the happiest man in Vietnam!

Excellent tour. Great guide and safe driver. I enjoyed the demonstration of traditional rice farming techniques at the museum, but the best thing was the beautiful countryside. Strongly recommended.

This is a must do activity when staying in Hue. We were part of a large group travelling through Vietnam, north to south, and this was by far one of our favourite activities that we did along the way. What an amazing way to see the beautiful countryside of Hue & get to see how the locals live & make their living. We felt super safe on the bikes and the tour guide was 10/10. So funny and knowledgeable. He made the tour so enjoyable. Would love to do it all over again 😊

An excellent experience with Mr Happy. This is an 11/10 experience. Mr Happy was animated, engaging and very energetic. My driver was amazing. Making the experience comfortable and safe. A great way to experience what Vietnam is really like. Visit a real local market and get a feel for life in Vietnam. Highly recommend this excursion.

Guides were so kind and excellent drivers, views were so beautiful and saw the in and outs of Hue. Seeing the bustling city is so much better on these motorbikes then a bus. Highly recommend
