Hue City Tour With Private Driver And Flexible Custom Itinerary

We only had a half day for seeing a few attractions in Hue. Son suggested three important places for our approval. They were a perfect selection, a variety of places in different locations in and near the city. He was even able to include a trip to the incense village to see someone make incense sticks. Son also told us lots of interesting background information on what we were seeing, so we had a better understanding of what we were visiting. We had a very enjoyable afternoon and learned a lot about Vietnamese culture and Hue in particular.

Everything was perfect. Son, our driver picked us up on time, was very professional and friendly, he provided us with water and explained our tour to us in detail. Best of all he provided lots of historical information to help us get the most of our day and answered all our questions in great detail. Nothing was rushed and Son went over and above to ensure we had a great time. I can’t recommend this highly enough to make the most of your Hue visit. Thank you son!

Fabulous five hr trip around five chosen sites of Hue. Trung was an excellent driver but was also informative re the places we visited, He also made sure we had plenty of water and looked after us throughout the experience. Would thoroughly recommend this day but Trung made it !!!

I had such a lovely time visiting around Hue yesterday with Som. We visited 5 tombs like Minh Mang (absolute favourite of mine), Tu Duc, Gia Long, Khai Dinh and Dong Khanh. We dropped by Thien Mu pagoda and 2 other lookouts along the way. The tour was private and really going at our own pace. Som made sure i was comfortable, taking as much time as i needed at each place. He was very knowledgeable and we had a lot of great chats about different historical sites, the old and the modern Hue and Viet Nam altogether. It was such a pleasant experience. I learned so much. But it also reminded me so much of the time i spent in Viet Nam when i was younger, going to school and learning about the history. Something i am eager to know more now.

We had a fantastic private day trip from Da Nang to Hue. Everything was well organized, comfortable, and relaxed. Our driver, Son, was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. He answered our questions, shared helpful local recommendations, and kept the day running smoothly without making us feel rushed. We visited the Imperial City, took a dragon boat along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, stopped at the Hue Military History Museum, and explored the Khai Dinh and Minh Mang Tombs. Son is a great tour guide and driver who took us to an authentic local restaurant which made delicious prawn pancakes. We chose 6 sites and 11-4:30pm was sufficient time to visit them all as we arrived on the Heritage Train from Danang, which is a must do. I would 100 percent recommend this tour. Thanks Son.

A great day out! Khanh was an excellent host, telling us about Hue and the sights we were visiting. I have limited mobility and use a walking stick, so Khanh made sure I never had to walk too far. I enjoyed choosing the sights we wanted to see and going at a pace that suited our family. Can’t wait to go again!

We had an excellent tour with Son and Linh! We were able to customise our tour based on what we wanted to see and do. I think we made it the perfect length at 6 hours. Son was a great driver, provided water and ensured we were comfortable the entire trip. We paid an extra fee to have Linh come along as an English speaking guide and it was well worth it. The amount of knowledge Linh had and we were able to ask lots of questions and he knew the answers straight away was incredible. Can’t recommend TSM Tours highly enough!! Would rate 10/10 if allowed. My guide Sun was an absolute gem! So knowledgeable and passionate about his country and loves sharing the history and secret local spots to all visitors. I feel very fortunate to have had Sun as my guide as I learnt so much about ancient Vietnamese history and culture. He was an excellent driver and I felt very safe and greatly appreciated the ice cold waters and a/c comfort of his car. Don’t go past TSM Tours if you’re looking for a tour guide or daily driver!

I had an amazing experience with Son, who went above and beyond to make sure that I see that I see the sites, understand what I see, and took me to further places than scheduled. He took me to eat local food in a local place, in people’s house, and local desert (so wonderful!!) in an alley in town. Places I would never find by myself. The personal tour organized by TSM to discover Hué was just fantastic, and more specifically our Driver and guide, Son, made it even more unforgettable. We selected 5 stops, which was quite OK. We could have skipped the last at An Dinh palace, which was full of young vietnamese girls who were there just to feed their instagram or Tik Tok. We could have made 2 tombs instead. We had a great experience. Our driver, Son, took us to all the sights promised and didn’t make us feel rushed. He was on time and was able to find us quickly when we exited a site that had multiple exits. The car was clean and had AC and Son provided us with water bottles. The company and Son provided fast and polite communication. They were forthcoming regarding entrance tickets not being included in the package we selected.

The lunch we had was one of our favorite meals in Vietnam! The people we met at each location were friendly and helpful as well! We chose the 4-site option with a maximum tour length of 6 hours, and it turned out to be the perfect way to explore Hue. The included hotel pickup and drop-off made the day completely hassle-free. Even with a relaxing lunch break, we finished in about 5 hours—and after walking in the Hue heat, that was more than enough! The flexibility of having a private driver was the biggest advantage. We could visit the sites we wanted at our own pace without feeling rushed by a large tour group. Our driver, Son, was fantastic. He shared interesting historical facts and a brief overview before each stop, making the experience much more meaningful. He also kept plenty of ice-cold bottled water in the car, which was greatly appreciated after each visit. The company also recommended purchasing the combo admission ticket based on our itinerary, which saved us money on entrance fees. Between the convenience of hotel pickup and drop-off, the flexibility of a private tour, the personalized service, and the excellent value compared to larger group tours, this was one of the best ways to experience Hue. We had an amazing tour with Tom, picked up in Da Nang, drove the Hai Van Pass, stopped for lunch, toured the Citadel, stayed the night in Hue. Next day visited the DMZ. Tom's knowledge was amazing, really recommend this tour. Communication from all involved was very well done.

We had an incredible day exploring Hue with Hai, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better driver. At 7:00 a.m. he was a stranger, but by 4:00 p.m. he felt like a friend. Best experience of private car and driver we had in our journey in Vietnam. Sonny came to pick up us right at the exit of our night train at the station. Then a smooth day where all we wanted to do was done in due time. He knows so well the history of this city and even gave us some tips and facts/anecdotes. Tom was excellent and took great care of us, from Hue to Hoi An via some of the main sights and the Hai Van pass. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and very safe driving, would highly recommend his services.

I had a fantastic day trip to Hue from Da Nang. The Sea of Clouds was a fun way to start the day, and the itinerary in Hue allowed me to see the best parts of the city very easily. The driver even took me to a special village with some amazing cemeteries of local families! I would highly recommend this tour!!
