We initially booked this tour with another comapany but for some reason the hotel we stayed in Hue "poetic hotel" helped us to get the same tour with a better price. We are very pleased with the experience. We had such an amazing time. The weather was just perfect, we were super lucky. The food was good, and the main tour guide Sam and his helper Han, very smart he did show us and explain lots of interestings facts from the forest and the animals. We felt in love with the whole trip and the amazing treatmet and care from them. I would 110% repeat.

This one-day hike was truly a wonderful experience with our amazing guide, Han! He was funny, knowledgeable, and very kind. He made sure to warn us about the different insects and critters we had to stay away from, while also giving us historical information on the French colonization and its negative impacts on the environment and lives of locals. Extremely fun, and interesting. The food was very tasty and filling as well. Long story short, we loved our experience, and Han made our day! Our driver was also very sweet. Thanks again!
Grammy ,Ham and Dung gave us an amazing experience- the trek was harder than expected but the helped us have a wonderful day, the trek up and down the mountain, a sinful lunch at the top and a cool refreshing swim to balance the hot day. A very worthwhile experience!! Thank you so much
Chamie and Mr Truong did an amazing job showing us the national park!
Bin was a fantastic guide and made our day very enjoyable. Thank you. Just great and recommendable. Although the weather was a bit rough, he understood to make it a great day.
We can't recommend this tour enough. The nature was beautiful, our guide was knowledgeable and pointed out different insects, butterflies, plants and awesome caterpillars. On the viewpoint we had an amazing view of the mountains and clouds, our guide even brought coffee for us. The highlight was definitely trekking and swimming in the lake/river. The water was beautiful, atmosphere was peaceful, picnic was delicious and plentiful. If you want to escape the hot city and get to know beautiful vietnamise nature, you shoudn't miss it!
We had a great time with our tour guide Ben. The weather was perfect and the park beautiful, lots of history to hear about and the views were amazing! The refreshing swim was a perfect addition to our day
I had a most exhilarating experience in the lap of the stunning Bach Ma National park! Sam, our guide is truly a child of the forest. His kindness and calm energy guided us through some truly challenging bits of the hike. The delicious home-cooked picnic lunch was another highlight. This was truly one of the most amazing experiences I've had in my life.
My fiancè and I had an absolutely fantastic time doing the day trip to Dach Ma National Park today (December 4, 2024)! The tour guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeful, and was an enormous help overcoming some of the more difficult parts of the Five Lakes section of the trek (be aware that there are some quite difficult climbing sections). He was fabulous as was our talented driver! As for the National Park itself, it was super beautiful, spectacular, and an absolute must-see if you are in Da Nang or Hue. Very recommended, a lot of fun, and breathtakingly beautiful!
An excellent trip! The whole day was perfectly organised right from the moment we were picked up from the hotel. Sam our guide was kind and very patient, teaching us a huge amount about the nature and wildlife of the park, and helping us get through what was at times quite a challenging trek. Highlight was definitely swimming in the crystal clear ponds on the mountain. Would recommend!
While I had a great time, the guide is both knowledgeable and attentive, and the food was great, certain parts of the trail are not “difficult.” Rather, they are very dangerous. I wish I had know this before embarking on this adventure. You can literally fall down into the waterfall & rocks, particularly during your way down a steep staircase on the edge of the mountain. There is, however, a less dangerous path that you may want to consider if you have a fear of heights or physical limitations. Wear proper shoes if you are planning on joining the dangerous path. This is no joke. No sandals, no open toe shoes, no snickers.
The place is beautiful. The tour guys also nice. In Vong Hai Dai, you can see Hue city. The road from gate to Vong Hai Dai. It is curve
Really good and helpful tour guide. Showed us a lot around the national park and pointed out a lot of nature life. Really good driver as well!
Sam was the perfect guide ! He knows everything about the place, can catch every single insect/small animal in the forest to show it to you and explain some fun facts. He is very patient, he even carried a little girl when she had trouble getting through the hard part. The picnic at the lake was exactly what you need after a good hike, and do swim in the lake, bring your swimsuit :)
This was an amazing tour, incredible views and very friendly guide. We had here the most beautiful day of our stay in Vietnam.
Interesting and great day out. We were a bit disappointed with the tardiness of the driver as it says that it starts at 8 am but we weren't picked up from our hotel until 8.30 am. Also, the tour didn't really start until 10 am and we ended the trekking at about 3.30 pm so, really, it's only 5 hours so I think you should update this on the website because its misleading. Other than this, it was a fun tour. Out guide, Sam, gave us in depth explanations about the history of the park, the jungle and the animals that live in it.
The incredible views from the top of the waterfall and swimming in the mountain lake. Our Guide Sam was informative about the area and provided snacks and a lovely packed lunch.
The trek to the waterfall was manageable and the scenery of mountains was beautiful especially the waterfall and lakes. The lunch prepared was delicious and the guide was helpful.
The guide was amazing. He explained us things but didn't overwhelm us. We asked for vegan/vegetarian food which we received and it was good. Most importantly of course, the tour was fantastic. What a great experience!
We had such a great tour! Amazing views, nice hiking and a great tour guide (Sam)! The highlight was definitely the swim in the lake!
We got picked up at our hotel. Sam, the guide, is very friendly, funny, knowledgeable and spoke good english. The price of 700k a person is excellent. Ask for the vegetarian lunch (it's good!).
We did the trip to Bach ma and is was amazing! Our Guide Sam was really funny and also told us a lot of interesting things. Bach ma in general is really beautiful and definitely worth a visit!
Excellent service all round. One of the best trips we've been on, and we've been on many trips after travelling for 5 months. The guide Sam was very attentive, spoke excellent English and had a very good sense of humour. The trekking through the jungle is not for the faint hearted but resulted in amazing views. The food was traditional veitnamese and very good, the veggie option was just as good. I would recommend this trip and overall excellent value for money.
Had a lovely day trip with great guides. The tour was well planned and we had time to go swimming in the lake. The adventure trail requires some good shoes ;) but there is also another trail to make it suitable for everyone
We had a lovely day visiting the beautiful Bach Ma park with Sam. It was a great day with good food and knowledge about the park. Transport was good and very friendly guide!!
Outstanding tour to Bach Ma Nationalpark. Can only recommend to join the one day tour with Sam. Energetic tour guide with a sense of humor, making you enjoy the trip to the fullest.
The national park itself was of course beautiful. We walked through tunnels dug by soldiers, and looped around to three separate locations. 5 lakes was particularly beautiful. Our guide was Sam. He is a kind hearted, informative, and friendly guide. He showed genuine interest in us as people and he is very passionate about his job. I don't like leeches, and he made the effort to regularly check in with me to make sure I was okay. I would absolutely recommend this tour and Sam as a guide. Thank you so much!
Our guide Sam was amazing and funny we he’s a great tour and its was behind our expectations!! Wonderful thank you for everything Sam
It was a nice and weil organized trip. The driver took us to the mountain safely. The guide (Sam) was well informed, friendly and always willing to help. The hike was quite adventurous but worth it. Definitely recommend wearing hiking boots
Had a fantastic day at the national park! We were blessed with lovely weather and incredible views, plus a cold swim in the water pool. Our guide was very informative and funny which created a great atmosphere for our group. One of the best tours I have ever done.
An incredible trip to Bach Ma National Park. It is beautiful. The tour was very well paced and challenging in an adventurous, fun way. We went through a war tunnel and saw fruit bats up close which was fascinating. The lakes walk is stunning. Our tour guide, Sam, was very knowledgeable and he has a great sense of humour. We loved all of it.
Wonderful tour and excellent tour guide Sam. We love the trekking, the lakes and waterfall are so beautiful. Pinic lunch by the lake is also great. Excellent experience. Highly recommended
We had a very amazing Trip from hue to Bach Ma national Park including 3 stops: on the top of the mountain, 5-lake trekking Tour and the Rhododendron waterfall. In total, it was about 7 km of trekking and climbing (be prepared to get wet shoes) with some adventure parts and nice views. Sam was a great and humorous guide and shared lots of information on plants, animals and the history of the national park. We fully recommend this trip!
Once you've toured the Imperial City and a tomb or two, do yourself a favor and head to Bach Ma on this tour! Bach Ma is an incredible national park that rivals gem national parks in the United States. On our tour we received personalized service and adventure that included amazing scenic viewpoints, immersive outdoor experiences like trekking through the jungle and swimming in a pristine river, being enthralled by endangered langurs who put on a show, and our unforgettable guide Sam who went above and beyond to share his "garden" with us. Thank you again for one of the highlight experiences on our trip to Vietnam!!!
The trip is wonderful ! We feel happy and comfortable with enthusiasm support from tour guide Mr. Sam and Ms. Phuong. We recommend this trip to our friends to see beautiful views from Bach Ma mountain !
Sam and his great driver picked us up at our hotel in Hue. On our way to the park Sam told us some Information about the region and the park. During the hike he was funny and communicative, shared his knowledge about plants, animals and environment with us was ready to answer every question. We have been given water and home made delicious lunch. At the top of the mountain we had a nice conversation while having hot drinks. After a nice hike to the 5 lakes we had lunch and after that some time to go swimming. Sam is a wonderful guide and a caring, nice guy. We are thankful for this awesome day!
Sam and his friendly driver picked us up from our hotel and we had a very comfortable ride to the national park. Throughout the tour Sam was explaining to us about the local area and was very knowledgeable of the area and the national park. When we arrived we were given bottles of water and a packed lunch which was delicious. The hike itself was expertly guided by Sam who informed us of the different animals and creatures in the park during different seasons. Sam was very funny, friendly and chatty which made the day fly by! I would recommend this tour to anyone and Sam is the perfect tour guide. We also stopped for lunch (which was made by Sam as a part of the tour). The food was exceptional and the setting could not have been better. Despite Hue being 37° during the day it was a very cool temperature on the tour. Sam also had more than enough provisions such as hot coffee, hot chocolate etc and a first aid kit. It was one of the best things I have done in Vietnam. 10/10!!
What an amazing day!! If you're heading to Vietnam, please add this to your bucket list. Sam is an excellent tour guide, and the day trekking through the park was nourishment for the soul. Do it for yourself and take a dip in the fresh water. Amazing views, animals, friendly guide ,and even a beautiful home cooked meal for a waterside picnic.. Excellent . Thanks Sam ☺️
We had a brilliant day on this tour - the park is beautiful and the trek, although quite tricky in parts, was an amazing experience! The waterfall is spectacular and swimming in the cool lake after the hike was a highlight. A great lunch was included too! Our guide, Dat, was lovely - such a sweet and funny guy. All in all, highly recommended.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed this day trip. We were in a group of 7 people. Our guide was very enthusiastic. The packed lunch was satisfying. We found the hike very easy. It's quite beautiful. Swimming in the lake is a must-do. It was a really easy way to enjoy Bach Ma Park.
We did the Bach Ma national park your with Dat. That guy is the bee's knees. He genuinely seemed to love being out in the jungle, was super friendly, spoke great English, and was very accommodating. If he asks if you want "the easy way or the adventure," take the adventure. It's amazing. TLDR, good tour, great guide, Dat needs a raise.
Bach Ma is a must-do if you are staying in Hue. The scenery is incredible! Dat is the BEST tour guide. He genuinely cared about each and every person’s experience. Regardless of people’s adventure experiences, Dat tailored the activities to fit the individual and fostered a real team environment. I’m so happy I did this tour.. I can’t recommend it enough. **I even left my water bottle behind in the van, and the next day TNT contacted me to come pick it up.
TNT took days to reply to me to book the tour and every time it was a different person who didn’t understand what was going on. Very frustrating. We’ve been on four tours already in Vietnam and they have all been great up until this tour. The tour was shocking. It’s clear that TNT are just trying to make money and haven’t got a care in the world about their customer. Our tour started in Hue where we were picked up at 8AM in a old van however they did not come to our hotel, we had to walk across the streets with our luggage to the bus. We picked up other travellers until the van was full. We then travelled for about an hour to the base of the national park for a toilet stop. The driver was terrible, we had already stalled once while he was stopped on the side of the road, not to mention his recklessness and the unpleasant changing of gears that physically moved us in our seats. We have had many drivers already in Vietnam that were all good, reckless by some people’s standards but I never felt unsafe with them. We then got back in the van to travel supposedly 40 minutes to the top of the mountain. We started up the mountain and the old van was struggling with 10 people so 2 people changed to another bus. We were all holding on for dear life as the driver struggled to get up the hill, taking corners too fast and stalling every kilometre or so. At one point the bus stalled and we started rolling down the hill backwards, instead of putting on the brake and trying to restart the driver let it roll back until we were crying out to the guide to let us out. We started walking up the hill since the driver couldn’t restart the van and we were all scared stuff of getting back into the van. The driver supposedly fixed the van and the guide convinced us to get back in. We made it to the top of the mountain in the end but it was not a pleasant ride to say the least and it took 1.5 hours rather than 40 minutes. The trekking was nice and the guide was fantastic but in the end that was outweighed by the terrible bus trips that took up most of the trip. At the end of the trek we were travelling to hoi an so they piled everyone who was travelling to Da Nang and Hoi an into the same bus (at least 25 people). By the time we arrived in da nang it was 6:00PM. That was the time we STARTED to drop off people. We didn’t get dropped off to our hotel in Hoi An, we were dropped off NEAR the hotel at 7:15PM. Not as advertised. We were told we would be dropped at the hotel but instead we had to walk for 10 minutes with all our luggage. I can’t believe that instead of getting two buses, one to drop off people in Da Nang and one for those in Hoi An they packed us al into one. Despicable. I am absolutely disgusted with TNT and if I had known that they treated their customers so poorly I would never had booked with them.
Fun 1 day trip with a little bit of hiking in the wilderness of bach ma national park. The ice cold swim in one of the five lakes was amazing. At the end of the day we were lucky enough to see some monkeys jumping around the trees! Other than that, we were a group of 7 young people who like doing some crazy adventures so this tour was a bit slow and not always exciting enough for us. Still, thank you to our very well English speaking guide Hero! You were most friendly, liked to laugh and gave us new background information about Vietnam we weren’t aware of. Goodluck in the future!
Me and my friend did the day tour from Hue to the Bach Ma national park. Pickup said that it was at 8 am, but showed up at 8:30. After an one hour drive, we arrived at the foot of the park and from there it was around 30 minutes drive to the top. Unfortunately we had fog there so couldn’t enjoy the view. Afterwards we started the five lakes hike. 3 staff members were present, but did not really care about the group. They did not give any information about the surroundings or animal noises we heard. The trail is pretty challenging, with ropes, ladders and steep hills. During the packed lunch it was crowded with wasps, so we could not enjoy our lunch. There was some time to swim (recommend, really refreshing!). Later we continued our route to the waterfall. It is nice, but you can not see how impressive it is since you don’t walk the path to the foot. That was such a shame for us. Then we walked back to the road and drove back to Hue. I think there are better tours with more enthusiastic guides.
The small group tour with TNT has been one of the best trips we have taken in Vietnam! We were a group of 19 and Dat showed us round the national park with lots of information and enthusiasm. The route is absolutely beautiful, allowing plenty of time at the top of the waterfall and also at the natural pool for swimming. Lunch was included and delicious! Would highly recommend - thank you 😍 We would also ensure that we booked direct with TNT in future. We booked with VM Travel who caused confusion by telling us pick up was at 0730 rather than 0800 - 0830. We found the VM Travel customer service to be poor... but this tour with TNT was fantastic!
We had a fantastic day with guide Sam. He's really cool. He showed us many insects and other small animals. Because the road up was destroyed by a storm we had to hike a bit first, then we covered a bit more on the road on the back of a scooter. The lunch was very good. The pulling was well dosed. You have to be good on your feet, otherwise it wouldn't work. You also see old villas. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. The other positive reviews are true.
We did the tour to Bach Ma yesterday. Shortly before we wanted to start it started to rain in torrents and honestly we were not motivated by the weather. Our guide Binh picked us up from the hotel in a good mood and assured us that the tour can also take place in rain. However, since it is more dangerous and extremely slippery to go the original way in heavy rain, he suggested a simpler alternative plan. Once in Bach Ma, we were then greeted by the first rays of sunshine. With the moped (“Easy Rider”) we made our way to the start of the trekking tour and yet decided on the more challenging path along the five lakes. But we’re in a tropical country – and here the weather can suddenly change :D In the pouring rain we finally climbed past the lakes, and we have to say: It was so much better than we imagined. The tour was a real adventure. Binh was always on hand when the trail became difficult and certainly accompanied us through the day. Quite apart from that, we were also incredibly lucky with our group and met for dinner after the tour. So: absolutely recommended – whatever the weather;)
The best guide of all, very nice and chatty. It's been an amazing experience. The route is very accessible, I bathed in one of the waterfalls and the food we were given was delicious. Repeat for sure!
Beautiful Jungle Trek, Guide to the Top! He helped me through difficult times and took the time to show us the bugs. We were lucky because small group of 5 people. We were even able to observe monkeys. Provide closed shoes and a small backpack to carry the delicious meal.
