Our family had only 1 night at Lavela Hue, but everything is perfect. Room is so amazing with bathup, big window to see beautiful Hue. Bed is so comfortable with great pillows. Pool is good for my kids. Breakfast had many choices from Western to Asian food. We borrow scooter from reception, then riding to old town just 10 mins only. That was perfect. Staff is so kind, especially Chloe from GRO. She is so sweet and helful. We will come back next summer ❤️
I had a wonderful stay at the La Vela Hue Hotel in Vietnam. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and very clean. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and offered amazing views. One of my favorite parts was the rooftop pool, which was perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Hue. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The breakfast buffet had many delicious options, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. Although the hotel is a little outside the city center, transportation was easy with Grab or the hotel shuttle service. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hue and looking for a luxurious and relaxing experience with great value for money
The hotel is nowhere close to a five star. It is barely a three star hotel. The room is basic and outdated. Breakfast is poor and everything is pre made, juices from the carton, milk is not fresh but long life, pancakes are straight from the box. Coffee is extra and not included in the price so if you want a cappuccino they’ll ask you to pay (is this five star service?). The bar is closed after 10pm and there is no room service during the night. The staff tries hard but it is nowhere close a five star, more like a two star in western country or Japan. Poor amenities, hundreds of screaming kids everywhere. Really poor service, poor location, poor everything. The only good point was one piece of laundry washed in no time literally two hours or so. Everything else is to avoid. The shower leaked and after reporting it they said there’s nothing they can do. They water was either hot or cold, they said there’s nothing for them to do about it. WiFi was good and fast but probably just because the router was right outside the room. Won’t go back, not worth the price.
My stay at La Vela Hue Hotel was truly wonderful! 🤩 The service was absolutely excellent; the reception staff were attentive and professional. The luxurious room was everything I expected. The beautiful lobby made a great first impression. The rooftop pool on the 17th floor offered amazing views and a good design. 🏙️ The location was pretty good, though a bit of a walk for some local delights. 🚶♀️ The only slight drawback was the small gym with limited equipment. I didn't try the restaurants due to high prices. 🏨
I came here to spend the day by the rooftop pool as my hotel didn’t have a pool. The lady on reception was very polite and kind. There are three pools; two under shade where you can’t move the sunbeds and one on the top floor which has no shade but no sunbeds, only chairs! The rooftop bar is also permanently closed so no service up there. The views are great but after an hour I got bored and left. No atmosphere or service made it quite sad. Such a shame as the hotel is done to a high standard and the service at the front desk was excellent.
