The hotel's location, next to the Perfume River, is a major plus point, with direct access from the swimming pool area to the riverside promenade (excellent place to hang out at night). The hotel itself is quite an old building (from perhaps the 1960s) but there had of course been renovations to modernise it. However, this means they are "stuck" with old physical designs such as smaller-than-usual bathrooms (but you'll survive, don't worry).
Booked through Agoda, and the check-in was smooth, with staff helpful with the luggage as we arrived. Stayed in a Family Room, which came with bedding for 4 grown ups. Room amenities of note: mini-fridge. The room wifi was actually faster than my 5G mobile roaming on Viettel!
Breakfast was quite good with a reasonable variety, with more emphasis on Vietnamese food (that's what you came for too, right?). Location-wise, the hotel is also in the downtown dining and entertainment district of Hue. Easy to book Grab e-hailing too.
Beds were great actually had slats and not just wood under the mattress. The bathroom step was very deadly to any toes present. (Imagine Peter Griffin.)
The hotel was too hot as the main ac wasn't on an all windows and doors open. In the room the ac was good. View was stunning, the people in hue are nice besides the scammers waiting outside the hotel.
The hotel has a perfect location in the animated district of Hué city. We had a room with a river view. It was clean and very quiet.
The staff is cheerful and welcoming.
The swimming is wide and clean with a beautiful view and equipped with changing rooms and showers.
We also appreciated the breakfast provided with international and local dishes.
The location of the pool is right on the river, and it has a sunset view. The staff have gone above and beyond and have been extremely accommodating. It's best to request a river facing room as it can be quite noisy facing the city. It's very central. The hotel is gradually updating rooms, which is needed. The external areas, pool and spa are fine but as the rooms are slightly outdated, the upgrade is necessary. I wasn't sure when reading some reviews but I can't only say positives.
The room was really nice we got a nice view of the pool and river from our balcony. The shower was also really nice, great water pressure. The staff were all lovely and the pool was a little chilly but great to cool off on the really hot days. The location was perfect walking distance from many great restaurants and shops
