A wonderful experience, even before staying at The Upper House HongKong. Together with ChatGPT, I spent quite some time searching for the perfect hotel in Hong Kong, a city I have never visited before. After exploring many options and having countless discussions, I finally chose The Upper House. Unfortunately, unexpected personal circumstances arose during the booking process, making it impossible for us to proceed with our planned visit. Although I have never actually stayed at The Upper House, I am absolutely certain that I will one day. I simply wanted to share something special: even from thousands of miles away, I have already experienced the genuine warmth, kindness and hospitality of the people at The Upper House.And that, to me, says a great deal about a hotel. Had such a wonderful stay at The Upper House in Hong Kong last week. The service was truly incredible from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every request was handled so warmly and effortlessly. The team really went above and beyond and made the whole stay feel good. Breakfast was also fantastic, with so many great options. My favourite was definitely the Chinese breakfast. It was absolutely delicious and something I looked forward! I would highly recommend The Upper House, particularly for the exceptional service. The team really makes the hotel what it is, and I would happily stay again.

Upper House is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The cozy environment and extraordinary service levels are all memorable for me, especially this is my first stay here! The bridge that links to its restaurant Salisterra is such a nice photo spot that you should never skip. The interior design elements echo with each other and create a relaxing vibe. Thanks for the surprise arranged by the team as well! Such a lovely cake, and my husband and I are already looking forward to our next stay. It is really a house rather than a hotel, which you will always longing for a return. Highly recommend.

Loved staying here and the room was spacious and so comfortable. Service was pretty good too, other than one time housekeeping came in super early at 9am while I was still in bed. The only thing it’s not 5 stars would be the facilities, other than the gym, there’s not much more - there’s no pool here and their free pool is super far away. But location is great though, love Wan chai and how close it was to everything because it’s essentially connected to admiralty station. Great view on top floor of the harbour and great for drinks too!

I’ve visited The Upper House many times over the years, and it continues to be one of my favorite hotels in Hong Kong. The team arranged an early check-in for my morning arrival, welcomed me with thoughtful amenities, and many staff members still remembered me from previous stays. When they learned I was traveling with my baby, they even surprised us with an adorable baby outfit—a small gesture that meant a lot. The rooms are timeless, peaceful, and beautifully designed, with one of the best hotel bathrooms in Hong Kong. Sunday brunch and breakfast were excellent, and the 49th-floor lounge is a wonderful space for meetings or simply relaxing. The only minor downside is the relatively small gym, although guests can also use the fitness facilities at the neighboring Conrad. Exceptional service, understated elegance, and genuine hospitality. I can’t wait to return.
