Sadly heard some loud shouting/arguing from another room on my last night & next morning. Soundproofing could be a bit better! 🤫

Location is great, MTR station access just across the street. Service is friendly, and the desk staff speaks English. There was a water station at one end of the hall (on the 7th floor). The room is decently sized, not too cramped; however, the shower & bathroom were VERY narrow, and it was quite uncomfortable. The pillows are very soft; you have to request for the firmer pillows. Cute hot water boiler/dispenser in the room, but poorly designed; it fills more than the cup provided and splashes everywhere. Stayed a week and smashed 1 small cockroach in the room. Sorry, but this is not a 4-star hotel.

- The lobby is well air-conditioned, but with a chlorine smell.
- Pool requires a swim cap. (available for purchase)
- Standard basic toiletries NOT FREE - there is a Fee.
- Yes, fridge in the room.

- Basic housekeeping daily: trash, vacuum. Towels & Bedding every 3 nights.
- No umbrellas available for guests to borrow. (It was pouring rain when we stayed)
- Nightly 8 pm Harbour Light Show; QR Code on a paper for the music.
- Only 1 entrance available after 10 pm, all other doors are shuttered.

This hotel location is very suitable to see ocean view and easy to go many attraction points conveniently.
And Especially, Reception Staff named "Erin" is so kind and she helped us a lot and was always with sweet smile during checking time.
So, We are really satisfied with all things including facilities and staff good service mind for customers here.
I recommend this hotel and will visit here again next time.
Great value for the price—definitely a budget-friendly option without feeling like a compromise. The location and views were truly priceless and made the stay feel far more premium than expected. Right near the waterfront and ferry terminal. We could even see the light show from our window.
Service was consistently good, and the cleanliness really stood out—even with my typically high expectations, it didn’t disappoint. We spent most of our time out exploring, but it was a comfortable and reliable base to come back to. I’d definitely stay here again.
We recently concluded a five-night stay at The Salisbury YMCA, and it was truly the highlight of our trip to Hong Kong. If you are looking for a combination of comfort, convenience, and world-class views, this is the place to be.
The Room and View
The standout feature of our stay was undoubtedly the spectacular view of Victoria Harbour. Waking up to that skyline and watching the lights at night from our window was a breathtaking experience.
Beyond the view, the room itself exceeded our expectations:
• Cleanliness: The room was spotless upon arrival and maintained beautifully throughout our stay.
• Space: There was plenty of room to move around, which is a rare find in Hong Kong hotels.
• Comfort: The bed and comforter were exceptionally cozy—perfectly weighted for the local weather and making it very easy to get a good night's rest after a long day of exploring.
Service and Atmosphere
What really made our stay special was the warm and welcoming staff. They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be kind to my little baby girl. As a parent, those small gestures of hospitality make a world of difference and made us feel right at home.
Final Verdict
The Salisbury YMCA offers a premium experience with a heart. Between the spacious, clean rooms and the unbeatable location right on the harbor, we couldn't have asked for a better home base. We will definitely be back!
