would not recommend this hotel. stayed here for a week and one of the two available lifts on the G/F are constantly not operating, meaning it takes forever to wait for a lift to get up to the guestroom (the floor display also does not work). the room itself is serviceable enough but old. the biggest issues i had were with the bathroom. the design of the bathtub is strange with a very low side, meaning whenever i took a shower water would just go out of the tub and soak half of the bathroom floor. the showerhead doesn't come off the wall and could not be repositioned. with both the tap on the sink and in the bath, the hot and cold water controls had different knobs and it was annoying to get the temperature right, especially with the bath. service - front desk staff were unfriendly, and we suspect that not all guests were asked to place a deposit. the deposit is fine but when checking out, they took a long time to check the room and return the deposit. and not sure how it's fair when some guests don't even have to place the deposit. location is okay, but a 5-7 mins walk from the closest mtr station (tsim sha tsui). there are better options out there with a similar price.

We had a really good stay in this hotel for 4 nights. Shout out to hotel staff Shadow Luo for upgrading our room by giving us the best comfort possible. Room cleaner is also very polite. The location is good near with kfc halal and ebeneezer shop halal as well. Very satisfied.

I am very grateful that the Kimberley hotel allowed me to check-in the middle of the night as my flight arrived just after 12AM. The hotel has a classic feel as it is clearly several decades old. That means that the rooms are a bit dated, but still perfectly serviceable. On the other hand, the hallways look great. Staff were helpful and friendly and the central location makes it a great base for exploring Hong Kong.

We stayed at Kimberly Hotel from 28–30 June 2026. While our overall stay was good, we had a very disappointing experience on the day we checked out. My sister asked the staff who was assisting with luggage at the hotel entrance to help arrange a taxi to the airport for her 6.00 am departure. As hotel guests, we trusted that the taxi arranged by the hotel would be reliable. However, when she arrived at the airport, the driver charged her HK$390. She travels to Hong Kong frequently and knew the fare was unusually high. When she questioned the driver, he claimed that HK$90 was for toll charges. Believing there might have been a change in the charges, she paid the fare. After checking later, we could not find any information supporting the additional toll charge that the driver claimed. We are very disappointed that this happened after the taxi was arranged through the hotel. We hope the hotel will investigate this incident carefully and ensure that only reliable and trustworthy taxi services are arranged for guests in the future. Incidents like this can damage guests' confidence and the hotel's reputation. We hope no other guests will have to experience the same situation.
