I researched the hotel so the post can reflect both your personal experience and what makes the property distinctive. The Fullerton Ocean Park is the first Fullerton resort worldwide; all 425 rooms face the ocean, and even the standard Oceanfront Room has floor-to-ceiling windows, a 55-inch 4K smart TV with screen mirroring, individual climate control, Nespresso and other modern features. The hotel describes itself as an oceanside retreat just one MTR stop from the heart of the city. 🌊 A Hidden Side of Hong Kong — The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Our family has been traveling through Asia from San Francisco for three weeks, and while in Hong Kong we wanted to find somewhere a little different — away from the intensity of Central, but still close enough to enjoy everything Hong Kong has to offer. We found exactly that at The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong. We stayed in one of the smaller Oceanfront Rooms, but the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The room is beautifully designed and surprisingly high-tech, with thoughtful technology throughout. The bed is extremely comfortable, but what really makes the room special is the view. Opening the curtains and seeing the South China Sea through the floor-to-ceiling windows completely changes the feeling of being in Hong Kong. Instead of looking out at skyscrapers and busy streets, you see the ocean, green mountains and islands. 🌊⛰️ The hotel feels like a true resort surrounded by nature, yet you're still connected to the city. For our family, that balance is what makes this property so special. After weeks of traveling through Asia, it was wonderful to have a place where we could slow down, enjoy the ocean, spend time together and experience a completely different side of Hong Kong. The infinity pool overlooking the sea, the family facilities and the peaceful Southside setting make this much more than simply a hotel to sleep in. It feels like a destination of its own. Sometimes when people think of Hong Kong, they immediately picture Central, Victoria Harbour and skyscrapers. The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel reminded us that Hong Kong is also about mountains, islands, the ocean and nature. For families who want to experience Hong Kong while having a peaceful place to come home to at the end of the day, this is a wonderful choice. One of the best hotel experiences of our three-week Asia journey. ❤️🇭🇰 #FullertonOceanPark #FullertonStories #HongKong #HongKongTravel #FamilyTravel #HongKongSouthside #OceanView #TravelAsia #FamilyVacation

Our stay was amazing at the Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel. Although on the pricier side, this hotel is an excellent choice for its facilities and family friendliness. They have a wide range of food options at their buffet, and also very comfortable and high tech rooms. Here is what I have to say about the hotel: The hotel is secluded from the main city but no worries as the shuttle every 30 minutes to the two closest MTR stations was very helpful. The buses always ran on schedule for us and left right on the dot The breakfast and dinner buffets at the lighthouse cafe were stellar. Every food option felt so well done and perfected. They have a huge range of food you can choose from. It is a little expensive ranging from 50-100 USD, but it is very worth it, at least for one night or morning. There aren’t much food options in the immediate vicinity, so you would have a hard time (just longer commute) finding a meal elsewhere. I felt like the service issue here was addressed, as the staff seemed to be comfortable and not overworked like a lot of the past reviews had said. The reception was very kind and so were the chefs at the restaurant. The room, my gosh was the best part of the hotel! Everything about it, it was so high tech with so many different light switches. The tub and shower were huge and so were the towels. I’m not sure why they are so big, so if the hotel sees this, please tell me why haha. The view from your room is always facing the sea, so you will have a nice view. The pool was also very wonderful and had a great view. It was nice to cool off, but the pool itself was a little warm. The hot tub is also a little strange because it is close in temperature to the pool and isn’t really too hot, but wasn’t an issue as I suppose the air itself is too hot for a real hot tub temperature. There is a kids area splash pad which was functional and very popular when we were there. Their gym is also very nice. It has a larger variety of machines than most hotels in the area, but it isn’t anything special. The sauna is also very large and runs nicely. The facilities are all clean and functional when we were there.
This property will always be special for me as I hosted a very important event here. We had about 80 guests staying here for over 3 days, and each and every one of them loved the room and the spectacular view. The entrance and lobby may feel a bit impersonal at first, but the beautifully appointed rooms make up for it. By Hong Kong standards the rooms are of a good size andd have been designed to take excellent advantage of the location and view. Love this place!
Superb breakfast and ultra friendly staff. Marco and the whole crew are amazing! Friendliest customer service in HK. Infinity pool and views are stunning. Soaking tub. With the shuttle to the MTR, everything is accessible. If you want to get away from the stress of the city but have pretty easy access to its excitement and the peace of HK island’s south side, I would definitely recommend the Fullerton.
Loved our stay at The Fullerton Park Hotel, Hong Kong. The staff were outstanding — genuinely warm, attentive and professional throughout. The buffet breakfast was exceptional, with an incredible choice and very high-quality food. The surroundings felt calm, luxurious and beautifully maintained, making it a real retreat from the city. The only negative was we arrived just as the infinity pool was closed for maintenance. The staff (Andrew) dealt with it very exceptionally well. A pleasant stay
