Excellent location, discreet service and understated elegance. Everything was seamless, from check-in to the little details. A refined stay that quietly delivers the level of hospitality one appreciates. Would gladly return.

Surprisingly good hotel though it was only 3-stars. It was conveniently located at the heart of Mongkok, though it’s still a short distance away from the MTR stations and bus stops. Travellers with bigger luggages may have to endure and weaver through the crowd to get to the hotel. Nonetheless, it’s still not bad in terms of the value for money, location and cleanliness.
Stanford hotel is located in middle of Mong kok. Hotels, Metro (MTR), super market all accessible. You’re also within walking distance of major street markets like the Ladies Market, The receptionist Miss. Vanilla was very friendly and explained about the available facilities around the Hotel and the MTR accessibility etc. The rooms are on the smaller, good view of the city. No complimentary water in the rooms is a negative point. Water is very important and i would suggest Hotel to look into it, atleast one bottle per day. In terms of price, It is not less priced, but for what you get—location, accessibility, and overall convenience—it is value for money. If you want a clean, reliable place in one of the most active areas of Hong Kong with unbeatable access to food, shopping, and transit, this is a very solid choice.
We enjoyed our stay as a family! Hotel has pleasant fragrance & rooms are kept well. Though its end of the road, walking down to ladies mkt is near, and loads of cafes which open till late night is available for dining. We did not regret choosing this place. Mongkok mrt abt 7mins walk. Also, wud like to thank the housekeeping lady who was very friendly. There were no views from our hotel as surrounded by the housing .
Stanford Hotel Hong Kong – Review This hotel is all about convenience. The location is excellent—right in the middle of Mong Kok, with millions of food options literally downstairs. Subway (MTR) and bus access are just steps away, making it extremely easy to get anywhere in Hong Kong. You’re also within walking distance of major street markets like the Ladies Market, plus areas known for makeup, sneakers, and all kinds of shopping. Langham Place is also a short walk away. The rooms are on the smaller side, which is typical for Hong Kong. There are two styles: Brown floor rooms – older, more dated Gray floor rooms – newer, updated Both are still good overall, just depends if you prefer something more modern. There’s not much of a view, but that’s not really the point of staying here. A few practical notes: The hotel has wheelchair access, which is a plus. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but honestly, with so much food outside, there’s little reason to use it. No complimentary water in the older (brown) floor rooms, which is something to be aware of. The 7-Eleven downstairs is overpriced—you’re better off going to the supermarket right behind the building in the watch alley. In terms of price, I wouldn’t necessarily call it cheap, but for what you get—location, accessibility, and overall convenience—it’s great value. Bottom line: If you want a clean, reliable place in one of the most active areas of Hong Kong with unbeatable access to food, shopping, and transit, this is a very solid choice.
