Perfect stay! The staff were very kind and helpful, the location was great, and the breakfast was good. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back when we’re in Hong Kong again. Highly recommended!

Good solid hotel. Provided us with a spacious room with a view. Close to whatever your needs are. Shops and restaurants close by. Close to a row of overpriced pubs as well. Extremely close to shopping mall from which you can almost walk underground all the way to the harbour. Beware if you arrive with luggage on bus or metro. It is steep to walk the roads up. You can bypass all of it by using the escalators in the shopping mall. Staff did its job in a discreet manner. Breakfast okay a bit repetitive after a while.
The hotel is located on a very steep ramp, difficult to climb with luggage, and makes me feel very tired and exhausted under the summer heat. Overall, I booked this hotel in a reasonable price, and the room is quite big compared to other hotels. But the bathroom is very disappointed for its poor drainage system. The water on the ground cannot be effectively drained into the sewer.
My wife and I booked a 3 week stay at Stanford Hillview Hotel. The hotel is located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. There are plenty of pubs, restaurants & shops within walking distance. It's also only an 8 to 10 minute walk to a MTR (subway) station. We had a small issue with our room, and the manager (Alvin?) kindly moved us to an upgraded room. Much appreciated!! I would recommend this hotel. BTW, just as an FYI, long term stay rooms are cleaned only twice per week which was enough for us.
I was nervous about hotels in Hong Kong after reading stories about forced reviews and the reality being far from what was advertised, so I pushed our group to book something a bit more expensive that the cheaper options in Kowloon and I am glad I did. The hotel is in good condition and the room was exactly as the pictures online. The bed was very comfortable, daily serviced and bed made and new towels. The only negative for me was the shower which was quite low on the wall in the bath tub. Breakfast was good with a decent selection from cornflakes, fresh fruit, bacon, hash browns, croissants and muffins plus several Chinese dishes - there is something for everyone. The staff are attentive and cleaning used dishes quickly and refilling the area with freshly cooked food before it runs out. The location is perfect for exploring the area with lots of bars and restaurants around, the mall for shopping and Kowloon park nearby. For people that enjoy more serious drinking and fun you can head along the Kuntsford Terrace and become enticed with offers of Beer Towers, 2 for the price of 1 and free shots. Despite having a front of the hotel facing room it was quiet at night and didn't hear anything to disturb my sleeping despite being a sensitive sleeper. As others mentioned there is a very steep hill up to the hotel and other routes make it a bit easier but there is no way to avoid it totally, however we got a taxi from Kowloon West Train station which was about 15 minutes away. There is a luggage storage option so I checked my suitcase in when I checked out and used the rest of the day to explore some more as my flight was not until the evening, I then got an Uber to HK airport which took about 1 hour due to heavy traffic but it still only cost approx 25 euros which was pretty cheap. I would recommend this hotel and gladly come again.
