This hotel does not feel like 5 stars, but you get good value out of what you pay for. The hotel looks aged, room decoration fells out-dated. The room view is mostly the roof of some old buildings. The main advantages of this hotel is location, close to MTR, tram and bus stops, lots of malls and food options around the hotel. The front desk staff is nice and friendly. Wifi works great. Breakfast is decent, and has good Asian and Western options. Elevators’ wait time is long even with 4 running elevators serving 30+ floors. In-room amenities are not great. There are not enough towels and size varieties. No huge size bath towels nor medium size face towels. It does provide a wooden toothbrush plus toothpaste, but not combs nor razors. Also, the sink faucet is weak, but the shower faucet is fine.

The hotel is in a great location, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A special mention to the lady who cleans our room on the 25th floor. She was always so kind and attentive. The front desk and shuttle staff were also very accommodating. Peggy and Hinton were especially helpful and made our stay even better. Overall, we had a great experience!
Pros: Great location Staff was mostly kind and helpful I liked the oldschool Chinese vibe and design and grandeur Cons: Hotel is old and derelict My room had flooding on carpet, probably some broken pipe. Having read other reviews I did not even bother with room change fearing I would get something worse Bugs (yes I understand these centipedes are useful, but I kinda prefer them not in my room) Mold Could hear people talking in neighbouring room, walls are too thin If the owners/management renovated the place, this would be an awesome hotel instead of being a memento of the golden era of HK For a night or maximum two it is ok due to location but I definitely would not return here or bring my family/kid.
Stayed here as it was a GHA hotel, where i should be offered an upgrade if available. They actually charged me for an upgrade, but was a discounted rate, which i think they were offering to everyone. The rooms are old, tired ( things are old and worn ), the air con is extremely noisy and due to the temp is required to be on high, i checked out early because of this. The noise from others in the hallway and the closing of doors is very noticeable, so if you value good sleep maybe reconsider here. The executive lounge is basic at best and don't offer breakfast, which is one of the main reasons i went for the upgrade only to find out they open at 12pm. The concierge desk were always very friendly and helpful. I won't return, thought i would try somewhere new but backfired.
I had a wonderful stay at Regal Hotel Hong Kong. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, making it very easy to explore the city. The staff were professional, accommodating, and always willing to help. A special thanks to the concierge team, especially Manager Dennis and Taveeb, for their exceptional service. They were very friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. Their assistance and warm hospitality truly made our experience even more memorable. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Hong Kong!
