20261023 - located less than 5 min walk from hkg t1 arrival hall, making it an excellent transit hotel. Located less than 20 min ride from disneyland. Though hotel was started in 1999, it was still quite well maintained and clean. Offers very slow free wifi. I booked a superior room and was upgraded to family room! Family room was spacious with 2 double beds. Aircon was cold. Shower was hot and pressure was strong. Bed was comfy especially with the space given. Overall was happy with the stay!
I would like to praise Kent, our bellman, for his excellent service. He was friendly, polite, and very efficient with our luggage. He anticipated our needs and made us feel welcome. His professionalism and positive attitude truly stood out. Thank you, Kent, for your outstanding help!
✈️ Regal Airport Hotel Hong Kong Review
Gym & Pool Facilities: 🏋️♂️ The hotel boasts a comprehensive 24/7 fitness center that features active workout equipment, including a punching bag!
Perfect for getting a session in after a long flight.
You can also take advantage of both their spacious outdoor swimming pool and their heated indoor swimming pool to swim your laps!
🏊♂️❄️The Water Situation: 💧 Note that free drinking water is set up and accessible right outside your room rather than stocked inside the mini-fridge, so you can easily refill as needed!
The Bathroom Vibe: 🛁 While clean and fully functional, the bathroom features an older, classic condo-style design that feels a bit retro compared to newer boutique properties.
The Dining Highlight: 🦀 The dinner buffet at Café Aficionado is an absolute masterpiece! 🍽️✨
They roll out a legendary, premium unlimited seafood extravaganza featuring chilled Alaskan king crab legs, prawns, mussels, and fresh sushi that is easily the highlight of the entire stay.
It is hands-down the best part of the evening!
🦐👑Overall Verdict:
🌟 Highly, highly recommended!
Between the unbeatable convenience of being connected directly to the airport terminal and that incredible seafood spread, this is a top-tier transit stay.
You will definitely want to visit here again on your next layover! ✈️💼

Strategic Location, But Check-in Tests Your Patience!
Regal Airport Hotel Hong Kong has a super strategic location—just a 3–4 minute walk from the arrival terminal. For travelers who have just landed and want to rest immediately, this is a huge plus!
But… the check-in process really tests your patience. When I arrived, there were only 3 staff members handling registration, even though the queue was extremely long. The estimated time per person was about 4–6 minutes, and by the time I was done, there were still more than 20 people waiting behind me. If you arrive during peak hours, prepare yourself (and maybe some snacks) for a fairly long wait.
As for the room, although the hotel looks a bit dated, the cleanliness is quite well-maintained. The room, bed, and bathroom were all clean and comfortable for resting after a long flight. The TV also offers many channels, which provides some light entertainment if you’re not ready to sleep yet.
Verdict:
✅ Very close to the airport
✅ Clean & comfortable rooms
❌ Slow check-in process & understaffed
❌ Hotel facilities feel dated
Great for short transits or if proximity to the airport is your priority. But if you’re looking for a modern hotel experience with fast service, you might want to consider other options.
Excellent hotel for an overnight stay before or after a flight! The location is unbeatable, with direct access to the airport terminal, making travel incredibly convenient. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite being so close to the airport. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The dinner offered a great variety of delicious options, and the hotel's facilities were excellent. Highly recommend Regal Airport Hotel to anyone traveling through Hong Kong.
