Metropark Hotel Kowloon

Rooms were very clean however a lot smaller than I anticipated. I can't explain how good the service was here, the best component by far was the support from staff and advice on travel.

Very professional staff , especially the room maid. I left my luggage and back pack outside the room, she immediately knock at my door and let me know I left my luggage. On the other day, I m looking for help to turn off the light, once I step out of my room, she immediately ask me is there anything she can help. So attentive, I’ve travelling for 40 years , most of the room maid won’t even look at you . Metropark is so lucky to have this young lady . I meet this lovely lady 14th June ., room 722. Hotel is a bit old but spacious n in good location. Occupancy is high, 80% is young people from Mainland China. Please prepare at least 5-10 min for the elevator wait time. Overall is good hotel with professional concierge staff and receptionist .

The room was clean and comfortable, and we had no issues with its overall condition. However, the hotel's location may not be ideal for travelers who plan to rely heavily on the MTR for transportation, as it is quite far from the nearest station. There is a public bus stop across the street from the hotel, which provides convenient access to areas such as Mong Kok and etc. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service to the nearest MTR station every hour, but it only operates until 9:00 PM. Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience with the shuttle service. We arrived on time and waited for the shuttle, but it was already full when it arrived. While we understand that seating is limited, we hoped the hotel would make an effort to accommodate guests who were already waiting, perhaps by arranging an additional trip. Instead, we were informed that we would need to wait another hour for the next shuttle or use alternative transportation such as the public bus or a taxi. Given the hotel's distance from the MTR station, many guests depend on the shuttle service. With the large number of guests staying at the hotel, it would be helpful if shuttle capacity could better match demand, especially during peak hours. To be fair, we acknowledge that we should have researched the location more carefully before booking. However, I am sharing this review to help future travelers. If easy access to the MTR is important to you, this hotel may not be the best choice. Also, be aware that if the shuttle is full, you may need to wait for the next scheduled departure, even if you arrive on time.

The hotel rooms are spacious & clean, beds are comfortable to sleep on, hotel staffs are very helpful & the hotel location is great. They have 2 vending machines here selling drinking water at HKD 3, which is very convenient to the guests & selling at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this hotel to others.
