Had a pleasant quiet stay here. Loved that it is connected to a large mall. Several restaurants around, easy access to the ferry. The hotel might need a bit of a remodel as it is showing it's age, but I would stay here again as the rooms are large.
The location is perfect if you want to explore Kowloon and TST. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful, as were housekeeping. They gave us a little cake (unprompted) for a birthday 🥰 The only caution is that it’s an old building and some of the rooms smell musty (but they gave us an air purifier).
We really enjoyed our stay at Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel. The location is fantastic and made it so easy for us to get around, shop, and enjoy the city. What made our stay even more special was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. A special thanks to Yang Li and Tom Ray, who were so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Their friendly service made us feel very well looked after. We would happily stay here again when we return to Hong Kong!
Stayed here for 5 nights and it’s not my first time. The main selling point about this hotel is definitely the great and convenient. location but it’s super old and dated. It’s just next to Harbour City shopping mall (it’s a huge mall), next to the historic Star Ferry and Ocean Terminal, providing stunning views of Victoria Harbour (a great place to go for a run in the early morning). It’s also less than 10 mins walk to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR train station and the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui area. Buffet breakfast is okay but the impressive one is lunch. Super fresh seafood especially the snow crab, prawns, fish and salmon. Service overall was okay as well but the big down side is that the room and facilities is super old. Things are falling apart for sure, dated and look so “tired” especially considering the price of the hotel.
We had a fantastic stay at the Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel and would absolutely return. The location is one of its biggest strengths. Being right on the waterfront in Tsim Sha Tsui gave us immediate access to the harbor, and we loved being able to step outside and take in the skyline at any time of day. The proximity to the nightly light show made it especially memorable, as we could easily walk over and enjoy it without any planning or hassle. The hotel itself delivers a very solid experience across the board. The amenities feel polished and well-maintained, and everything runs efficiently. It has that “world-class hotel” feel without being overly formal or stiff. Service was consistently excellent. Staff were attentive, professional, and helpful whenever we needed anything, but never intrusive. It struck a great balance that made the stay feel comfortable and easy. What really stood out, though, was the value. For the location, quality, and level of service, this hotel exceeded expectations. Hong Kong can be an expensive city, and this felt like a place where you truly get what you pay for. If you’re looking to stay in a prime location with easy access to the harbor and a reliable, high-quality hotel experience, Marco Polo is a strong choice.
