For me, Lanson Place Causeway Bay defined luxury. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Causeway Bay with shopping, dining, and transit just steps away. The concierge and staff were consistently polite and accommodating, and they went out of their way to make every part of our stay easy. The property was spotless and pristine throughout. This was one of the best vacations I've ever had, and I'd stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hong Kong!
My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Lanson Place over the course of 5 weeks this summer. I will say this much - we have never enjoyed a group of people as much as we did the staff at Lanson. I could speak all day about their kindness, attentiveness and thoughtfulness during our stay, and I'd probably still fall short of doing them justice in this regard. Truly a special bunch and my family and I miss them every single day now that we're on the other side of the island in Kennedy Town. A special note for Kenny who escorted us to the hospital across the street and got us sorted there after my daughter accidentally cut herself. Above and beyond, wearing a suit in 33 degree weather too.
I'd be remiss to not say anything about the property itself - the room was excellent, the common spaces were very well maintained, and everything was accessible and easy to find.
I'm thankful for our time spent here, and wish all the staff the absolute best. We are forever appreciative for your hospitality during our first few weeks in Hong Kong.
I wanted to like this place. The hotel is cutely designed and quiet. Good sound insulation even though it’s in a busy area of causeway bay. However the service leaves something to be desired. I booked with Amex and have $100 USD credit which I thought could be used on any food so I ordered room service and they said on check out it’s not included. Kind of a scam honestly as I would not have paid $400 hkd for a tiny piece of pork and even smaller salad.
Nice hotel in a nice bustling location with plenty of shopping and food options all around within walking distance. Free laundry was a big plus for my family. The gym is top notch. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. The lobby is luxurious and stylish.
Our stay was not without issues, however they rectified and solved everything and really earned five stars in my book. All in all, I would stay here again and can recommend this hotel without any hesitation.
Pro tip: go for the corner room if possible (rooms that end in -07)
I had the Studio Residence room. Interior design and architectural structure are mid. But electronic blackout curtains are nice. Kitchenette is nice too, but a bit too small. Service is exceptional, especially checkin, I checked in while sitting in the resting area, and a staff delivered welcome fruit to the room later and welcomed me to their Christmas activity. View is good. Location is good. Not far from Causeway Bay Station.
