Kowloon Shangri-la Hong Kong

The Shangri-La Kowloon team displayed a high level of professionalism and a strong dedication to us enjoying our stay. I would like to give a special thank you to Hayden Kwan who gave us in depth travel advice of the local area and Shanghai-La. I would also like to say a huge thank you to Molly Mo who made my birthday day so special. Upon arrival of our room Molly had gone above and beyond to help our celebration which we were not expecting and really made our stay at the Shangri-La so much more special and rememberable.

A Great Family Stay with Warm Hospitality Kowloon Shangri-La certainly leaves a fantastic first impression. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel warmly welcomed, seamlessly ushering us from the entrance straight through the check-in process. The housekeeping team was equally attentive, periodically checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. Thoughtful gestures like fresh fruit delivered to the room every other day and chocolates for the kids made the stay feel extra special. The hotel is exceptionally kid-friendly. We stayed in a family room, and having a bottle steamer provided in the room was a rare, convenient luxury while traveling with young children. The room itself was spacious and well-maintained. While the property is showing some signs of age and doesn't scream modern luxury—the TV is an older model without casting capabilities or YouTube—it has aged gracefully. It also comes equipped with very practical amenities, such as a multi-port fast charger for electronics and an in-room hot and ambient water dispenser. Breakfast offers a decent spread with a wide variety of choices, even if no single dish particularly stood out. In terms of location, it is very convenient, offering easy access to nearby attractions and the train station. Overall, a comfortable, welcoming, and practical choice for families.

We had a wonderful stay at Kowloon Shangri-La in Hong Kong from June 22 to July 1. The staff made a superb first impression, especially Amber Lee at the Concierge, who checked us in with remarkable ease. Our room was perfect, featuring a stunning view of Victoria Harbour that enhanced our time in the city, especially as we watched the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival. Service throughout the stay was consistently excellent. The Horizon Lounge provided a quiet, convenient place to start the day with a relaxed breakfast, and the Café Buffet offered a diverse and high-quality range of options. We left very satisfied and will happily recommend Shangri-La hotels to family and friends around the world. Thank you for making our vacation memorable.

I have stayed at Kowloon Shangri-La Hong Kong many times over the years, and it continues to be one of my favourite hotels whenever I visit Hong Kong. The hotel combines classic Shangri-La hospitality with one of the finest views of Victoria Harbour. During this stay, I was delighted to enjoy a Harbour View room once again. One detail that particularly impressed me was the addition of a high-powered telescope in the room. It allowed me to appreciate Victoria Harbour from a completely different perspective. Together with the premium tea provided in the room, it created a wonderfully relaxing experience. The hotel's greatest strength is its people. From arrival to departure, the team consistently delivers warm, professional and genuine service. It is this attention to detail and consistency that keeps bringing me back. I look forward to returning again on my next visit to Hong Kong.
