The entire floor of the hotel smelled of moisture. They tried to hide the scent with room perfume, but even my clothes smelled after a 2-night stay. Other than that the room was clean, staff is nice and location is good.

As we know, hotel in HK really didnt have a very much space to begin with, however the room that i booked under this hotel really appropriately spacious for two people. We can walk around, have chair and table to sit and eat, open luggage flat on the ground, ironing clothes in the room and have a nice relaxing bath/shower. Other than that, the facilities provided were great. They have a small chiller, a kettle, instant tea and coffee, working tv cable, hair dryer and so on. The wifi were fast enough for you to update your social and downloading things. The proximity to MTR station was one of the reason i choose to stay here. In less than 1km, u can reach Wan Chai station easily, Besides that, it is also very near to tram station, as well as if you taking airport bus, u can easily stop at stop 10 (Luard Street) and walk to the hotel. There is plenty of convenience store nearby as well as restaurants. For muslim traveller, u can also easily found halal restaurant around 1km radius as well. Overall, a great place to stay!
First of all, the staff was very friendly and all spoke good English. The room was spacious and clean. Also, the location is great, walking distance from bars, restaurants, and subway stops. I woke highly recommend it and I look forward to staying here again when I come back to Hong Kong!
Room was a bit small but clean. Shower pressure and temp was great. Location is very close to train stations and many many many F&B options. Staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke English.
First, the good: the concierge staff were lovely. Unfailingly friendly and helpful. The hotel's location was also excellent, being in the heart of Wan Chai and very near tram stops. And the room was very large by HK standards. However, I doubt I will return for the following three reasons: 1. The bathtub was ridiculously narrow and being forced to stand in it to shower was somewhat dangerous: I slipped twice while turning around and it could have gone badly. The shower curtain was also too light and kept getting sucked in by air pressure from the shower water flow if I had it fully extended, so I had to pull it only part of the way closed. This meant water got all over the floor and I still kept brushing my arm and body against the curtain during my showers (yucks). The shower head bracket was poorly designed as well and let the head slip off and fall into the tub twice, spraying cold water all over me the first time. 2. There was only 1 wall socket and it was nowhere near the bed. There were 2 USB ports by the bed but these didn't have enough power for fast charging. 3. The hotel smelled funny. The corridor, room, and bathroom each had its own unique and not exactly pleasant smell. Not entirely sure why this hotel has such good ratings on Google and elsewhere. Compared to hotels in Singapore, London, and San Francisco, this seems more like a 2.5 or 3 star than a 4 star.
