First time staying at this property ( second time in Hong Kong ). I would definitely stay here again, with or without the breakfast package. Was upgraded nicely to a corner 33m² room on the 23rd floor on the corner ... talk about vertigo ! Very modern, chic, compact but full featured. Front desk folks were friendly and attentive. All spoke great English and Chinese. Breakfast buffet was a mix of western and Asian but overall was very very nice. Sky bar was on the 29th floor, small but trendy and moody. Comped two drinks ( list of standard cocktails ) and they were pretty good ( Platinum Elite member ). Location is steps away from Wan Chai stop. Overall, a really really nice property !

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Indigo Hong Kong Island from 8th–10th May, and the experience was made truly exceptional by Agnes Tang. From the moment we arrived, Agnes made us feel incredibly welcome. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, especially when our flights were changed and we encountered booking issues. She was so accommodating, patient, and efficient in helping us sort everything out, which took a huge amount of stress away from our trip. As if that wasn’t enough, Agnes also surprised us with thoughtful leaving gifts, which was such a kind and personal touch that we will always remember. Agnes is an absolute superstar and a true credit to Hotel Indigo. Her genuine warmth, professionalism, and outstanding customer service made our stay unforgettable. Thank you, Agnes, for looking after us so brilliantly—we can’t wait to return!
Great hotel in the popular Wan Chai area (for restaurants, shopping, histories and more); minutes walk from the MTR station or the major bus routes. Staffs are very friendly and helpful (esp the egg-lady during breakfast 😀). My daughter was sick from the HK heat/humidity and they asked and cared. Breakfast was good according to the price. Room was spacious (by HK standard) and very clean/organized (by the good staffs). Great rooftop pool to escape the mid-day heat; gyn was small but functional. I would recommend this hotel highly to anyone traveling HK. Thank you to all the staff and management team of Hotel Indigo.
I stayed at Hotel Indigo Hong Kong Island for two nights while attending a conference at the convention center. Overall, the hotel offers great value given the location and the size of the rooms. I stayed on the 21st floor and found the room to be quite large compared to other hotels I’ve experienced in Hong Kong. It was modern, clean, and well-maintained. It featured a sofa and a Nespresso machine with complimentary pods. One quirk worth noting is the layout: the desk is located directly behind the bed. The bathroom is stocked with branded Shanghai Tang toiletries. They provide most essentials, including two pairs of slippers and an umbrella in the closet, though you will need to bring your own disposable shaver. Check-in: The process was very smooth. The staff was kind enough to offer a late check out to accommodate my flight time, which I really appreciated. Water: The hotel does not provide free bottled water. There is bottled water in the mini bar, but it is chargeable. Instead, they provide a water filter machine that you have to refill with tap water. It was a bit of a hassle to keep refilling the tank. Rooftop Bar (Level 29): A nice spot to unwind. It isn’t particularly busy or "buzzing," which makes it good for a quiet drink. Dining (Level 2): I don’t recommend eating here. The restaurant is small with a very limited menu. The food was not great and quite expensive for what it was. Location: The location is very convenient. I was able to get to most destinations within a 10 min Uber ride. Verdict: Despite the minor inconvenience with the water and the lackluster restaurant, the room size and comfort level make this a solid choice. It is a very comfortable stay for a business trip.
Good value for price, if you know the value you want. Hotel Indigo Hong Kong Island delivers a stay that gets some important fundamentals very right — but comes with a few trade-offs that are worth knowing in advance. The rooms standout. They’re unusually spacious for Hong Kong and very well organized, making them genuinely comfortable whether you’re staying for a short visit or a longer trip. Everything feels thoughtfully laid out, which goes a long way in a city where space is typically at a premium. Service is another major highlight. The staff are extremely efficient, courteous, and consistently willing to go beyond the call of duty to help. The hotel itself — like Hong Kong in general — feels very safe, which adds to the sense of ease, especially for travelers unfamiliar with the city. That said, the location is a mixed bag. The immediate neighborhood is worn down and lacks good dining options, which is surprising in a city known for its food. More importantly, this is not a “walking distance” kind of setup. Hong Kong can be tricky to navigate on foot if you don’t know your way or haven’t figured out the pedestrian bridge system, and the hotel isn’t particularly close to the main attractions, business areas, or standout restaurants. Breakfast is a weak point — disappointing and not quite up to the standard you might expect. On the plus side, the 24-hour gym is a great feature and adds flexibility for any schedule. Overall, Hotel Indigo Hong Kong Island offers comfort, safety, and exceptional service, but its location and breakfast may leave something to be desired depending on what you’re looking for in your stay.
