We stayed at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile for 5 days with family and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is exceptionally well-located, making it very easy to access multiple places around the city. Both our check-in and checkout processes were incredibly quick and efficient. The room service team was highly attentive to all our needs throughout our stay. We also loved the excellent breakfast buffet, which conveniently included a few Indian dishes. A huge plus was that all basic amenities were free and not chargeable, which is a rare and welcome surprise compared to how many hotels operate now. Highly recommended for families!

You cannot beat that location. Just above the TST station, it offers a wide range of options either local (TST, Jordan, museums, avenue of starts) or transport (Wan Chai, central and piers...). The service is quick and customer focus, a luxury when you come from abroad. When we arrived, they proposed a room but the bed would be too small for the 4 of us. After some looking at options, they put a roller bed and proposed another room for the next day. We preferred to stay in the original. So yes, we did not get what we booked, but a good solution was found. Is the hotel a bit old? For HK standard, no but it is not the W; well you do not pay the W price either. A family of 4, we were comfortable. The noise is exteremly limited depsite being on top of Nathan road. And there is a pool! looking at other options for families with small kids, this one makes the top.
I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong via a travel agent booking. We are a party of 4: a domestic helper, and 2 ladies in their 70s. We had requested adjoining rooms so that my helper and I can keep a close eye on our 2 senior relatives. Upon check-in, apparently, no such request was flagged, to my dismay. However, the Front Desk lady's swift response that she would do a change of rooms the next day made the situation all better. The hotel's location (Tsim Sha Tsui) is excellent, right across the street is the MTR, there's local food cafes, fast food and restaurants. Also, it is walking distance to go to the Cultural Centre, harbour front, space museum and Legoland & Discovery Centre. However, there were a few disappointing aspects to the stay. The hotel was undergoing renovations during my visit, but this was not communicated to guests. The noise level was really bad. In addition, I was surprised that the room did not include complimentary bottled water or a shower cap (we were informed that it costs HKD$5, if a comb is needed, it costs HKD$5 too). These are basic amenities that I would normally expect from a 4-star hotel. The pillows were flat too. Overall, my stay was satisfactory due to the great location and awesome guest experience from Front Desk, Concierge and Housekeeping. Every staff was friendly and cheerful. For a hotel running at full capacity, it really can be challenging to keep up with requests, demands from guests in all directions.
Overall a very good experience at holiday inn. Location is ideal MRT just across the street and short walks to many malls and harbour. Was in renovated premium room. Very clean and spacious. Only issue was with check in. Very busy so understandable but need better communication and more accurate times when front desk are communicating.
First time travelling to Hong Kong with our three kids and we couldn’t have asked for a better base than the Holiday Inn Golden Mile. The location is absolutely perfect for families. Being right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui meant we had incredible eateries, shopping and plenty of activities all within easy walking distance. When you’re travelling with three young kids, being able to step outside the hotel and immediately find food, transport and things to do makes a huge difference. One thing that really stood out was the room setup. Our family room had three queen beds in one room, which is incredibly rare to find these days. Most hotels struggle to accommodate a family of five comfortably, but this setup worked perfectly for us and made the stay very relaxing. A special mention must go to Tony, the hotel Duty Manager, who went above and beyond for us. After arriving at the airport check-in counter, I realised I had left all our passports in the hotel safe. What could have turned into a complete travel nightmare was handled brilliantly by Tony, who immediately arranged for them to be delivered by express taxi straight to the airport. Thanks to him, everything worked out smoothly and what could have been a disaster turned into just another story from a fantastic trip. Overall, a wonderful stay with great service, an unbeatable location and a rare family-friendly room setup. We would happily stay here again on our next visit to Hong Kong.
