Room is spacious and clean. Service is great! It’s a 15 mins walk from Tai Wo Hao MTR station. Bus stops are 5 to 10 mins away. Hotel provides shuttle bus to and from Metroplaza at Kwai Hing MTR station every half hour. I like the idea of having the water refill stations on each floor. It saves a lot of plastic bottles while we enjoy fresh water.
We went to the kids zone as non hotel guests on a weekday and my two toddlers (2 & 3.5) had a blast. We purchased the half day tickets and the staff was nice enough to give us a bonus 20 minutes. We had the entire place to ourselves which made the experience even more elevated. The play rooms are clean, spacious and the toys are neatly placed. The location is not next to a MTR but there is a shuttle bus to Kwai Fong MTR. The hotel concierge offered us a shuttle ride to Metroplaza near the MTR. Overall a 5 star experience and we will be back again for the kids zone.
The hotel has a good location and the MTR is only 9 minutes away walking but the hotel provides a free shuttle to the mall which across the street is another MTR. Great customer service the staff is friendly also the dining area provides good services. I recommend to get a room that includes free breakfast during your stay because it is really good. The only negative I have is that the room wasn't the best. The carpet doesn't look clean maybe they need to replace it and you can see dents on the carpet after they move the beds around. The toilet and shower room was small but I can work around it. They design of using stainless steel on the frames was a bad choice because it gets rusty. The room has a giant mirror by the entrance that had rusty spots on it the tile looks old and dirty all the time even though they clean it. My desk chair has a big stain on it. The walls were scratched and the refrigerator is inside a wooden cabinet that the top look like is not even. Even though the room quality wasn't the best the room service was very professional and they will respond right away when you had any issues. So for me I give it a 4 star. Below are my evidence of the room of the discrepancies.
Staying for 4 days, on scheduled business trip. The hotel and staff were very nice, service ws good and fast including for check in-out. They cleaned the room everyday. Yes they didn’t provided amenities like toothbrushes toothpaste razors etc due to law and regulations (enviro protection) that of course is acceptable. there is seven eleven right next to the lobby for any requirements of staying including food snack and beverage
We stayed at Dorsett Tsuen Wan for 3 nights during our trip and overall it was a pleasant experience. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, which made a great first impression after a long day out. The staff were helpful and efficient, so everything was settled quite quickly. One of the things we appreciated most was the hotel shuttle bus service. It’s very convenient, especially if you’re heading to the MTR station or nearby areas. Just make sure to take note of the timing, as the shuttle runs according to a fixed schedule. I’ve attached the schedule for easy reference so you can plan your day better. The breakfast buffet was great with so many choices to enjoy. Most importantly, the café is halal certified, which made it easier for us. The price is HK$122 per person but if you purchase the breakfast voucher through the receptionist, it’s only HK$88, which is definitely more worth it. Overall, our stay was good and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our time there.
