First time in Hk and at an IHG hotel because it was cheap (usually stay at Marriott). All I have to say is, you get what you pay for.
Location looks good on paper but in reality it is not an easy place to walk to and from. The doors throughout the hotel are so difficult to open and close. I just saw other reviews of guests getting injured as a result of the doors- I am not surprised at all. Management needs to take accountability and action to make the hotel safer and more accessible to all. Overall a disappointing experience- do not recommend, will not return.
Large rooms and very spacious bathrooms. Amazing location for old Hong Kong visits. The steak house is great and breakfast buffet the same. Very attentive staff. All super clean and modern. Generous returns for loyal IHG members. Phenomenal experience in the elevators - I always make friends there.
We had a fantastic room on the 11th floor that was well laid out and the view of the racecourse area was excellent.
Every staff member we engaged with were so friendly, accommodating and really helpful plus the service was first class.
Eileen who was the housekeeper on level 11 and Eddie and Sammy from Club 28 were especially helpful.
The location was also great as its close to everything.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a good overall experience. By Hong Kong standards, the room was quite spacious and the bed was large and comfortable.
The bathroom was well equipped with both a bathtub and a separate shower, and the water pressure was excellent.
The room did have a slight smell, which could be improved, but it didn’t significantly affect my stay. I used the gym during my visit and found it decent for a hotel fitness facility.
Breakfast was good, although I would have appreciated a bit more variety in the selection. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout my stay.
The location is convenient, with an MTR station within walking distance, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor areas for improvement.
Michelle at the front desk was so kind and helpful. She upgraded me to a deluxe room on a higher floor, though there was a short 15-minute wait. However, she kindly offered me a welcome drink and a snack in the lounge, which was a wonderful surprise. Such excellent service and a generous upgrade on my first stay as an IHG member – definitely worth it!
