Stayed on the 18F from 1st - 4th Sep 2026. Got red itchy bumps around the wrist and ankle area. Didn’t think much as it had been a busy & tiring work trip. The bumps got itchier hence visited the doctor the next day after arriving home. Doctor prescribed medical cream & oral med to fix the itch from insect bites. Washed all the laundry in the luggage in high temp & into the dryer.

The good 26 hours package that allows you to check out at 6pm The bad Breakfast set is cold The location is out of the way with no nearby convenience stores The ugly Depends on which receptionist is working that day. Day 1 had a friendly female staff who took time to explain to me. Day 2 had this sarcastic lady who reminded me to "return my hotel card". Relax, lady! Its a hotel card not a cash/credit card. Your hotel card is only useful to me for opening my room door. I would not even be interested in it as a souvenior!
We stayed in a family room with two double/queen beds. Unfortunately, the hotel felt very tired and dated, and the beds were quite uncomfortable. The bathroom also had hair left behind from the previous guest, which wasn’t a great start. The bed sheets didn’t look clean, so I ended up sleeping in my clothes, which was very disappointing. When we arrived and looked out the window, we realised there was a cemetery right at the back of the hotel. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere and was a bit unsettling to discover after check-in. The worst part was discovering a condom pulled over the smoke detector above the bed, likely to stop it from going off. It was pretty unsettling knowing that was hanging over our heads while we slept. The only redeeming feature was the location, with plenty of restaurants close by and easy access to get around. Aside from that, I personally wouldn’t stay here again.
I had a pleasant stay in Cosmo hotel. The view is facing Muslim cemetery although some people may get uncomfortable with it. The hotel provide shuttle services to and from Hong Kong station but you have to walk to Dorsett hotel to get in. In terms of service, the lobby staffs seem not to be proactive enough well it is not 5 stars hotel so in my opinion this is acceptable. Room is clean no smoking smells however the a/c is loud.
I've heard good things from family and online reviews so was expecting a lot. From the second day onwards it was better. First impressions were not good as when I got to my room it smelled quite badly of stagnant water. Turns out the biggest source of the smell was from the toilet. The water was clean, but it must have been stagnant for quite a while. Second source was the shower and drain hole in the ground. After giving the toilet a couple of flushes and running the shower for a couple of minutes the smell dissipated considerably. The linens and pillows also smelled a little but was ok after one night. The carpets are quite dated and had some stains but otherwise didn't feel dirty. Other amenities provided were all of good quality. The doors could do with some better sealing as I could hear everything that went on in the hallway. The hotel is situated quite close to Wan Chai and is right next to the Jockey raceway. All the bus stops you need for most of Hong Kong is minutes away, the bus to Hong Kong MTR station is literally outside the front entrance, which is very convenient to go to the airport. Times Square and Causeway Bay MTR is 11 minutes walk away. N Bouldering is 13 minutes.
