Sizing: The artisan will measure your finger to ensure the finished ring fits perfectly. 4. Shaping: This is the most exciting, hands-on part: shaping the ring from a raw silver bar! Step by step, with our guidance, you’ll bend, cut, solder, and refine the metal into your chosen design. This is when you truly feel the joy of turning a plain piece of silver into a delicate piece of jewelry with your own hands. 5. Finishing & Personalization: o You’ll polish the ring until it shines beautifully. o We also offer engraving services so you can add a name, a date, or a meaningful symbol to personalize your creation even more. 6. Presentation: Your finished ring will be placed in a small box so you can wear it proudly or keep it as a heartfelt souvenir from Hoi An.

We stumbled on this silver making workshop by accident, what a fantastic little find, Hao Cau the owner was a fantastic host who meticulously guided us on our designs, ably assisted by her dutiful daughter Thanh Tu, Thanh has an eye for perfection for such a young lady, 100% worth the experience and personal touch of making jewellery.

This is the second time we have been and will come back every time we are in Hoi An. The family always makes us feel so welcome, loved and comfortable! This was such a fun experience! The owners were so friendly and very helpful in guiding me to create the ring of my dreams! We were there for 2 hours and it went so fast but it was so fun to learn about the entire process of making the ring. My ring ended up costing 800,000 VND.

This was such a fun and unique experience! Ms Hao and Mr Chu are very talented silversmiths, and they take the time to help you make something truly unique. 10/10 recommend this workshop if you are visiting Hoi An and want a memorable and special keepsake to take home or gift to another. They are a family run business and are very hospitable, they gave us snacks, coffee, fresh fruit from the market and even ponchos because it was raining when we finished.
We had a very private, beautiful silversmithing course today and forged rings for each other. Everything was explained to us very patiently and our little daughter helped out too. We highly recommend the workshop
