Shuttle Bus Hoi An To My Son Sanctuary

We wanted transport to My Son without being part of a tour and this was the most cost-effective. The bus left promptly from the departure point and a guide gave a brief history of My Son before we arrived. Others on the bus were part of a tour group so we spent the time on our own and met the driver at the designated pick up time. It all went very smoothly

We only did the transportation part, not the full tour, but it was an excellent journey! Good value, excellent organization, and an easy journey

Bus was efficient, departing and returning in time. Would have been nice to have a little instruction prior to departing. The attraction did not take charge card and one couple had to borrow money from strangers.

Good driver. We were happy to walk around alone without a guide. Expect very high heat despite arriving at 9am.

Worked perfectly. The bus left exactly on time and waiting for everyone on site for the time agreed. All went smoothly.

Driver was on time, friendly, and truly an amazing driver. Those country roads are rough to navigate and he did an awesome job! My son sanctuary was gorgeous and it is very worth the visit. The amenities are great and they take good care of everything. Very beautiful and I learned a lot. This is a great way to see the sanctuary for a great price.

Supposed to leave at 4pm to Hoi An according to the itinerary. Arrived 1:15 and driver says "you have a max of 2 hours". Booked the shuttle to have more time at my own pace but instead felt rushed and pressed for time. Beware.

12.30pm trip. Only two of us, so the driver drove us in a large car instead of minibus. He was courteous, well spoken and helpful.

The actual trip and instruction when at destination were clear and efficient. The van was very comfortable. I had wished that the instruction on were to meet up initially were more clear.

Great dropped us off at location gave us plenty of time to see everything then dropped us back in old town. Definitely worth a visit

Careful driver. Left on time. An easy process. Note you get dropped off at a different spot but it's convenient to the ancient town so it suits most people.

The title says it all. My only complaint is that we waited over twenty minutes for two people who never showed up. My suggestion to the tour company is to give 10 minutes grace for late people. Not fair to the other 10 people on the bus because we had 20 minutes less to spend in the My Son park complex. Otherwise, driver was good and drive very responsibly.

Only thing to note, pick up and drop off are from different locations, however this worked for us anyway as we wanted to be dropped off in central Hoi An :)

Was great to have the shuttle take us without worry of where to meet etc. Van was modern with great aircon

Pick up was as advertised, drop off was west of the Old Town (not as advertised) but it worked out for me because it was closer to my hostel. Agree with other reviews that you should go straight to Group BCD when you arrive to beat the tours. Service was good, bus departed on time (8am from Hoi An, 12pm from My Son) both ways.

Transfer was punctual and the van clean. The staff was nice but could not really speak English. Overall a very good experience.

Bus was 25 minutes late leaving in the morning, and unexpectedly dropped us off at a different place when we returned.

The pickup and driving was smooth, however the bus seats were very tight The description clearly stated we would be dropped off at the pickup point after the trip, we did not. The drop off was a significant walk from the pick up point. (We had parked bikes there)

Cost effective way to visit My Son, especially for a solo traveller. The van was comfortable. We departed on time from the meeting point a short walk from Hoi An old town. We arrived at My Son just after 9 am. We left at 12:05 once all travellers were back. We were dropped off at the other side of Hoi An old town just before 1 pm. I got the audio guide at My Son, which is actually an app you have to download onto your phone. My recommendation is to go straight to sites B,C,D. Sites H and K can be skipped and do the museum last so you are near the entrance at the end - there can be a long queue for the on-site shuttle bus so don’t leave your return to the entrance too late.

This was a minibus ride to and from My Son. That is what we wanted and that is what we got. It was on time , the driver was efficient and the minibus was clean.

Safe, comfortable, arrived on time, lovely air conditioning, departed on time - everything that was needed for a great trip to the beautiful sanctuary!

An easy and inexpensive way to visit the My Son site. It’s well worth a visit. The bus was comfortable and punctual.

Visiting My Son is a must do experience during trip to Hoi An. It's a cheap option with pick up in the meeting point and drop off in the old city center. If you don't need a tour guide this option is for you. Absolutely reccomended.

The driver was punctual and safe. We had 2 1/2 hours to see My Son Sanctuary. Upon paying the entry fee, you are given a good map of the complex and a museum visit offers additional knowledge before you set out on your visit.

The bus was comfortable, the driver polite and on time. It took about an hour. It was a smooth experience. I would recommend it.

This is the best way to see My Son. Stop by the museum at the start to read about My Son. Then wander at your own pace. Plenty of time to see everything. No waiting for a large group or getting a tour guide who isn’t even trained in what you’re looking at.

Bus left and arrived on time, good driver and a smooth trip. And unlike other companies, they accept solo reservations, so great choice for solo travellers.

The history behind the monuments in particular the Champa community that owned thus área nd the food in the local house

Hoi An to My Son transfer and return was on time efficient and cheap. The organization was great, pickup from the hotel in the morning, return around midday from the temple, I would recommend for anyone would like to do the same.

Great option for exploring My Son Sanctuary and arriving a little earlier than the big tour groups. The driver arrived a little ahead of the departure time for both departures, and as all our passengers were there already, we could leave ahead of time. Smooth drive in a nice van. My tip would be to head straight to group BCD and group A when you arrive, and then explore the others; these are the most popular and this way you can enjoy them with only a few (or no) people around. If you walk leisurely and in order, you may end up in the main sites with plenty of tour groups and tens or hundreds of people. Also, the morning transfer means you could enjoy either 10am or 10.45am traditional performance

As one who usually prefers to do their own thing, this was perfect for me as the shuttle was cheap and you get to walk around and see what you want to see without following crowds (the place is way bigger than I thought!) It is a bit of a bumpy ride on the bus though so just be prepared.

A perfectly decent transport to the My Son ruins. The bus was clean and was on time. The price was extremely reasonable. The driver was clear on the pick up time from My Son too.

We were picked up from the meeting point sharp at 8am. Our day trip to My Son was easy and convenient. The driver was a wonderful person and was very prompt and helpful, and also a very cautious driver. We would highly recommend this transport service.

What a good service! We booked the evening before quite late. After getting some online information. Which was very clear and helpfull. They made sure to contact us later that evening to get our homestay adress, and they came to pick us up at the homestay. At the perfect timing. The ride went smooth and we got some wather. They gave us some basic information about the site. And we had plenty of time to explore the site individual. They picked us up again at the spoken hour. And brought our back to the homestay. The van was comfortable and the driver drove safe. (just little cold because of airco :))

An excellent trip - very engaging and knowledgeable guide to a very fascinating and beautiful location.

We wanted a way to get to and explore the My Son ruins without having to follow a set tour so we could explore and take pictures in our own time. This was the perfect package for that. Even thought we booked in the early evening the day before, the company were quick to confirm the pickup with us. They do offer pickup but only in the Hoi An City or Da Nang. If you’re staying outside of those regions as we were on An Bang Beach, you’ll need to travel in. On the day the shuttle was on time and the van was nice and cool the entire trip. Onboard was Annie who answered questions about the region on the way and kept the group entertained with her bad (in a good way) jokes! There was also a free bottle of water which we appreciated as the one we packed didn’t end up being enough in the heat. We had 2.5 hours at the My Son sanctuary which was a good time to see all the ruins plus fit in a trip to the museum and enjoy the nature at the end. Overall, if your looking for a convenient and easy way to get from Hoi An to My Son for half a day, I’d fully recommend this Shuttle service.

Japan was excellent tour guide. It was fun to travel with him. He explained us the local habits. The organization of the trip was great.

Comfortable shuttle to and from My Son. Not a van but an SUV as there were only 4 of us making the journey. Pick up was on time for both outward and return journey. Our driver was very polite and professional. The journey was smooth. As it did what it said and was very good value it is recommended, especially as My Son is a very interesting place to see. All in all 4 hours to visit (including the journey) is about the right time.

Well organized trip. They even picked us up from the hotel even though it was stated to meet at a certain spot. Very good and timely communication.

We took a group tour to MySon Sanctuary from Hoi An on 23 January 2023 with tour guide Annie. It was a pleasant experience! Annie was friendly bubbly and very engaging. Lunch given was not bad either. Was just wondering if we could get the group photo taken by Annie?

The driver picked us up at the hotel in time and brought us together with another couple in a minivan to my son. It was fast and convenient. We can recommend it for everyone who wants to have an affordable ride to my son but who wants to visit my son alone with no guide. We were happy to have no guide because my son was not too big so we had enough time and could freely decide where to go and how long to stay.

Mr Barry excellent guide. We were picked up at our hostel. It’s cheaper than any other company or taxi or transfer. Only the way by motorbike. I would recommend it. We booked only the transfer to My Son and back and it was great enough.

This tour was great value for money. For the price I expected to just be dropped off at the site, but our tour guide Jason gave us an overview during the van ride there and then toured us around the site giving more information. And lunch was included from a local restaurant! Hotel drop-off and pick-up also appreciated.

Everything went well. However, it was announced that we would leave the ruins at 12:00 PM, and the driver told us he would pick us up at 11:30 AM, and at that time we were leaving there. I would have liked to see it more calmly.
