From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The history of the area is both fascinating and deeply moving, and our guide, Bruce, brought it all to life with his incredible knowledge, passion and storytelling. He didn't just show us the sights—he helped us truly understand the history, culture and people of the region. The entire team was warm, professional and genuinely cared about making the day unforgettable. Their attention to detail and hospitality were second to none. A real highlight was the incredible local lunch. As an extremely picky eater, I was amazed by how delicious everything was. The flavours were authentic, fresh and some of the best food I've had on my travels. It's a meal I'll remember for a long time. I honestly can't recommend this company highly enough. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a foodie, or simply looking for an authentic and memorable experience, this tour is an absolute must. You'll leave with a far greater appreciation of the area and memories that will stay with you forever.!
This was not a guided tour. It was just a drive to My Son and ”guide” who wanted to take pictures of the participants.
Leg room in van is minimal so would be challenging for tall people. Overall a great tour that hit the highlights and gave enough time to explore on own.
Our guide was great, he gave us lots of information and kept us organized. Pickup was on time, lunch was good.
The tour company communicated well with me – – they sent me a message the night before telling me exactly what time the pick up from my hotel would be. The funny thing about this was that I was on the wrong bus because I went on a bus that had come early thinking it was the right one and because of the language barrier, no one knew. When KLOOK came to my hotel to pick me up. They actually called me on WhatsApp and was able to figure out MY mistake. I had a great time the tour guide was very accommodating and even though I was feeling, I was holding up the group by walking more slowly than the others. They all kept up with me. The meal was delicious and generous, and the show was a lot of fun to see. There’s a lot of walking with this tour so be careful if you’re a senior make sure that you have adequate hydration (they do provide a bottle) carrying an umbrella for the sun and a walking support stick if needed. This is not a tour for anyone in a wheelchair. I will book again through KLOOK very responsive.
The communication from this tour operator was very poor. I was contacted by someone named Kim via email at around 7:15 pm the night before the tour to confirm pickup details. Until then, I had received no information at all, which caused unnecessary stress—especially since I had booked through Agoda and no operator details were shared in advance. The next day, the tour guide who picked us up was named Kimmy. Another issue was that they do not use WhatsApp for communication, unlike most tour operators in Vietnam, which makes coordination inconvenient for international travelers. At My Son Sanctuary, we were given less than 30 minutes and were not allowed to watch the cultural dance performance. The guide seemed to be in a constant rush, and there was very little historical explanation provided. While the site itself is beautiful and definitely worth visiting, the overall experience felt rushed and poorly managed. If budget is not a concern, I would strongly recommend choosing another tour company for a better and more fulfilling experience. I also have message evidence available in case the operator claims they did not have my details.
The tour guide, Hannah is very nice. She explained the history of My Son clearly and take care of all of us, 8 people during the trip. The driver, Cong is nice too. High appreciated on both of them.
Really incredibly interesting place and culture. The tour guide, Mr Lee, was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever encountered, and I live in a tourist destination. He was incredibly knowledgeable and intelligent, as well as funny and interesting. Seriously can’t recommend this tour highly enough.
Great half day tour. The guide was professional quite knowledgeable and very friendly. Great lunch for all palettes.
Our tour guide was really nice and informative. The sanctuary is very well maintained , with ruins more than 1000 years old. Totally recommended!
An unforgettable experience at My Son! The tour was well-organized, and our guide Phillip was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history of this incredible site. The atmosphere was serene, and the ancient ruins were breathtaking. Everything from pickup to drop-off was smooth, making it a hassle-free and enriching adventure. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting!
Excellent afternoon at My Son Sanctuary. Our guide Khanh ( Philip) was so interesting, knowledgable and enthusiastic, he gave the group an excellent insight into the history of the chappa people, the area, the temples. So much detail. Can’t recommend Khan and the trip highly enough! Thanks Khan! 👏👏👏
It was an old ruin of hinduism and the old structure wa worth visiting. It takes 20 min walk but almost flat.
Excellent trip. The boat cruise was a perfect value add in the trip. Loved it. Lee was excellent, humourous and knowledgeable. The dance, food was great!!
Mr Tu was a great host and guide, very knowledgeable. i would have liked more time to explore the ruins but that’s more an issue of the sanctuary’s management itself.
The trip was great. Learned a lot. Was amazed by history. Bus ride was good. Trip was from 5:45 to 10:30am. Breakfast was great. We had banh mi and coffee.
Highly recommend this trip, totally worth the early start! Tu is a very friendly, knowledgeable guide. We loved exploring the ruins without crowds, and really enjoyed spending time in nature - we saw a monkey, squirrel and many birds! The banh mi and coffees were delicious too.
Had the early morning tour with Tu as the tour guide. Wonderful time to experience the sanctuary early in the morning with minimal crowds. Light rain, but everything is very clear. Tu was very knowledgeable, and the history is amazing, and it is incredible it is mostly still standing with the bomb craters all around. Wonderful tour.
Great tour guided by Mr Tu! He shared good history of the Champa civilization and we enjoyed our walk around My Son Sanctuary. Water, toilet break and breakfast were catered for, we were well taken care of! Pick up is at Hoi An, instructions were provided. Transport was comfortable. Take the early morning slot to avoid the crowd. Bring some small snacks if u are hungry along the way.
Had a great tour guide, Tu! He was trying his best to explain so that we all understand the history of the place. Very thorough explanation and patient to clarify doubts and questions. Booked the trip through Klook and the coordinator will contact you through WhatsApp on the meeting place. My Son sanctuary is an open space area where there’s no shelter during the walk. So be prepared for both rain or shine! Advise to go early (6am) in the morning where there’s no crowd. 9am onwards, there will be truck loads of tourists coming in. Highly recommend this place if you love to hear about history and the beauty of how the design of the temple come about :)
The tour lasted approximately three hours, starting at 6 AM. Our guide, Mr Two, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the area. The walking route was well-planned, and we stopped at several picturesque locations for photo opportunities. He also answered all our questions enthusiastically.
The tour company always responds to messages on time regarding transport. We changed our pick-up location from Danang to Hoi An, we thought they would not be able to pick us up but they did, which we are very grateful for. I did not know beforehand, but the tour company provided us with a shuttle bus from the tour company office to Danang. We were able to keep our bags in the office too. Overall, they are just very helpful and they did not charge us anymore! I am really thankful and highly recommend everyone to choose this tour. My Son is a very interesting place to visit if you are interested in history and cultures and the tour guides speak fluent English and told us a lot of knowledge.
Great knowledge from our guide about My Son. However, I found it a little rushed. Tour length was ideal however.
The whole experience was very wonderful. Everything was scheduled very timely with thorough communication. Philip (our tour guide) was very warm, friendly and knowledgeable, which makes the learning experience unforgettable, engaging, and fun. He was very attentive to our needs and patient with our questions. I highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in visiting My Son Sanctuary!
Khanh was an outstanding guide! His deep knowledge of the area and its history made the tour incredibly engaging and informative. He was always attentive to our needs, ensuring we had the best experience possible. His friendly and approachable demeanor made the entire journey enjoyable. I would highly recommend Khanh to anyone looking for a memorable and enriching tour.
The tour guide Philip is great and patient. Pick up on time, learn more about My son's history , also My son heritage so amazing.
I had a fantastic experience at Son Sanctuary with our tour guide Barry.. He was incredibly helpful and shared a lot of knowledge about the site. His passion made the history come alive, and he was friendly and engaging throughout the tour. I highly recommend him for anyone visiting Son Sanctuary!
Barry is nice tour guide. shared a lot information during the tour. Professional explanation of MY Son. Awesome history day tour. His English is really good. We had a lovely time. 去會安day tour 強烈推薦佢地
The trip is amazing. Superb service and accomodating travel agent. Very informative travel with bonus food. Nice photos and service as well
Barry is good in explaining. Good experience and beautiful scenery. Will come back again when I visit Hoi An in my next travel.
A member of Team Barry is here! The guide is good and funny. It is easy to understand. No overruns, that's good. But the food could be better...
It’s a really nice trip. The heritage and history are so impressive and fascinating! And especially thank to our tour guide Berry, he not only introduced the site and stories, but shared lots of travel information of Hoi An to us.
A shout out to Barry and our safe driver Vinh, we enjoyed the history of Vietnam, specially the history of Hoi an rich culture and tradition which Barry explained beautifully. High five to Barry and our team. Team Barry!!! Now we know who to look for. Thank you for for the tour Barry. Thank you Vinh.👍👍👍👍👍
Today go to My son heritage. It's sooo amazing! And thank Barry verrrry mych for good introduction, making me know more about Vietnam history!
I was a bit hesitant after reading some previous comments, but this is really a good tour to discover My Son. Our guide, Quyền, knew his subject very well and was delightful. Plan for about 2 hours at My Son, including 45 minutes of explanations from the guide, 45 minutes of free exploration of the site, and 20-30 minutes of traditional Cham art performance (which you can skip if you want to spend more time on the site). For a non-specialist like me, it was more than enough to discover the site (especially in the summer heat). But if you wish to explore it in detail (especially the areas in worse condition), you may run out of time. Very complementary visit to the Cham sculpture museum in Da Nang. Good Vietnamese lunch. The boat ride is a bit cosmetic, but it has the merit of showing the city differently than wandering on foot in the old town.
Worth the excursion. The very friendly and knowledgeable guide who places you and gives you a lot of information. Highly recommended
From a hotel pickup in Hoi An city, Mr. Lee's tension as a guide was enjoyed from inside the moving car on the MAX. It takes about an hour by car to get to the ruins, and when you arrive you can take a cart ride from the gate and immediately watch traditional dances, from which you can tour the ruins thoroughly. The guide explained the site in an easy-to-understand manner, which deepened my knowledge of the Mỹ Sơn ruins. I had about 20 minutes free time at the ruins to explore the ruins scattered around. Then we went back to the gate, and on our way to Hoi An by car, we stopped at a restaurant for lunch, and then there was a 20-minute boat cruise in Hoi An city, and finally we were dropped off at our hotel. People staying in Da Nang also had to drive to the hotel in Da Nang in another car.
Affordable tour to My Son with great guide Amy. Pick-up from any hotel in Hoi An. Ended with a boat trip on the river into Hoi An.
Super morning, Hieu is really appreciative and he speaks very good English. The site stands out for its beauty and lush flora.
Very insightful and exciting tour! Philip gave us a quick overview of historical key dates during the trip and at the My Son we had enough time for the viewing. Food was great too.
The tour guide is very detailed and attentive, knowing a lot about the historical culture and architectural arts of the occupation, Recommendation Nguyễn Duy Khánh tour guide. In addition, the entrance fee for the Sanctuary of Macao must be purchased for one person, 300,000 Vietnamese Shields. The meal is a meal in a residential restaurant, three meals a soup, the taste meets the preferences of Taiwanese people will not overweight.
I spent an unforgettable time on the My Son tour with our Guide, Mr. Barry. He was very attentive, funny and knowledgeable. Despite the heavy rain, nothing can stop Team Barry! The banh mi after the whole walk was delicious.
This is an unforgettable journey. The tour guide Philip has a smile on his face and is very professional. He is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Champa. Without his vivid and interesting introduction, you may miss many places in the My Son Holy Land. Unfortunately, our stay in Meishan was too short. When Philip finished introducing the free activities, we only had less than half an hour to go down the mountain. This was not enough to complete the entire park. We hope that we can extend the time in the future, of course under the scorching sun. Many people may think this is enough! Lunch can only be said to be simple. It would be better if the Champa diet could be more complete. The last cruise activity was quite boring. It might be better if you can cancel and get to Hoi An earlier or return.
Barry’s expert guide gives five stars to get a full understanding of the local monuments’ origins and stories Next time I want to find a group to remember Barry
The tour guide is very enthusiastic. It will be delivered to the hotel, French bread is delicious. It is worth recommending. Great mountain is worth seeing. It is very hot.
This time we are Barry when our tour guide, real things in English are overwhelming, close to 400 cents including transfer service as well as dinner and professional guided tours, we ordered services with klook after the local
Guided English communication is no problem, explain carefully! Young and energetic! If you can consider this trip, the only disadvantage is that the stay time is a little short, and if you can see the whole area for more than half an hour, you can see it completely.
Barry, thank you so much for the Super Vacation Package, it was all at the highest level, striking locations, ancient sites, your story immersed us in the ancient history of your country!
Barry's guide is very fluent in English, explains in detail, and also has a sense of humor, the whole trip to the Sanctuary of the Sanctuary of the Sanctuary of the Sanctuary of the Sanctuary of the Sanctuary of the Sanctuary.
