Marble Mountains Lady Buddha And Monkey Mountain Private Tour

This was my second tour with John and he is incredible. Easy to set up and makes the entire day built around you. The marble mountains and lady Buddha were spectacular! John is a great guide, he is knowledgeable and makes the experience very enjoyable! I loved his tours so much I cancelled my previous tour to book with John. I highly recommend if you have time during your visit to Hoi An that you book this tour with John!

Our guide was Quyen. She was very knowledgeable and super friendly. We leaned a lot and enjoyed what we saw. The tour was just the right amount of time. Quyen was very personable and it was very nice to get to know her. We are vegetarian and at the last moment Quyen arranged for us to eat at a vegetarian local restaurant. Without missing a beat she has it all taken care of. Truly enjoyed spending time with her.

We had a great day with John and his driver. Very informative and full of local highlights . The local lunch was great and we enjoyed the conversation while driving to each destination. Would genuinely recommend John Lee tours. Thank you again John. Bill and Kathy Berry

We had a fantastic tour with John. Marble mountain was beautiful and John knows all the secret spots, including for lunch. Definitely do a private tour so you can go at your own pace and start early in the morning to beat the crowds and sun.

I can’t recommend John any higher, he was funny, friendly, knowledgable and shared the best experience with us on our trip to Denang Accompanied by Strong, the driver nothing was too much trouble. Thank you both

Throughout the trip, he explained a lot of things to us from buddhism, the temples, food, and all the good stuff. We had such a wonderful Time with our tour guide John and our Driver Strong. John was so kind and thoughtful towards all of us throughout the day. He was very knowledgeable and had the answers to any questions we asked, We visited some great locations and his knowledge of the local area meant that he knew the best times to go to places ensuring that they weren’t too crowded or busy. I recommend Lanh from Hoi An. He is relaxed and tells you everything in English you should know and even could answer to all my questions. It is a comfortable journey, without any hiking as they have a lift to the top. I maybe would have bought a tea service manually made by the marble factory for 80€ if the additional weight would not exceed my luggage limit.

We had a fantastic morning with John. He designed a custom tour for us from Hoi An to Da Nang. Dealing with John prior to the tour via email was fantastic and he was very responsive. John was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed his company alot. He also took lots of photos and shared them with us at the end.

John was an amazing tour guide. He designed a custom half day tour for us including pick up in Hoi An and drop off in Danang. John was so easy to deal with via email and WhatsApp before the tour to arrange everything. We learnt a lot on the tour and John was friendly and knowledgeable. We had briefly visited Marble Mountains on our own a couple of years ago and this time it was a hundred times better with John an expert guide who is so knowledgeable. Also, after a short and pretty drive we arrived at Monkey Mountain with the adjacent giant Lady Bhudda Statue. Sadly, like most tourists, we never actually saw the fascinating looking 'red-shanked douc langurs' as they are quite rare - and it was a gorgeous, sunny day - and they prefer the cooler shade! Additionally, at the charming Lady Bhudda site we were fortunate to witness a large gathering of Monks for a religious event which made the day even better! Throughout the tour the blue skies really allowed some great views from the places visited and it was all so fun and relaxing. Finally, the tour ended with lunch in Danang at an authentic Vietnamese restaurant full of locals with John translating the menu and ordering food and drinks for us and providing lots of fascinating information about the tour and Vietnam. Overall, a great tour.

We have had an incredible private tour with John. We really really wanted to see the rare red-shanked douc at Son Tra and he agreed to pick us up early on the morning and make a tour just for us. We saw four groupings of these amazing monkeys. John is a wealth of knowledge about all things Vietnam. Highly recommend for any tour. He’s very personable. Excellent guide.

John was our tour guide for marble mountain & caves, lady budda & monkey mountain. John was a fantastic guide & was very knowledgable with Buddism & Hindu. John explained Vitnamese cultures & taught us some minor Vietnames language that helped us to commincate & understand the locals. John was enthusiastic and left us with a strong impression that he is truly passionate about his culture, and to ensure his guests are well taken care of throughout the tour, highly recomend!

John was always punctual and speaks excellent English. He was friendly and open. We did several tours with him and the Marble Mountain was the best. He listened to our request to climb up rather than taking the lift, and provided an insight into the Buddhist and Hindu caves and the marble industry. We then journeyed to Hue through the Hai Van pass. He was good company.

Our trip with Peter was a wonderful experience. Myself and my friend are not in the greatest of shape and Peter was very understanding and patient waiting for us on all the stairs. The tour afforded us the ability to tour the Marble Mountains before all the crowds arrived and Peter's knowledge was A+. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
