We especially liked the traditional Vietnamese lunch with it all explained by our wonderful and caring guide Mr Chuong. The weather was very hot, that cannot be controlled. Our driver Mr Hai was an excellent driver in the somewhat chaotic traffic.

Hue is an amazing, beautiful city full of history. Our guide Nhien and driver Phuoc were a fantastic team ferrying us around the city to explore the significant landmarks. It was a truly memorable experience and well worth the effort. And the lunch provided at a local restaurant was amazing. Highly recommend this as a side trip out of Hoi An or Da Nang.

A great private tour with a curated itinerary of the key historical sights of Hue. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience so memorable. The driver was friendly and professional transporting us to and from Hoi An and between various landmarks. The lunch provided at a local restaurant was superb! Would highly recommend this as a day trip out of Hoi An to explore something new.

Mr. Duc was punctual and accommodating. He gave us minimal information at each stop, but just enough for us to understand and enjoy. Ms. Fi was informative and allowed us time to explore at our pace. She also offered to take photos for us. Lunch was amazing and provided a variety of tastes. I would highly recommend Ms. Fi for any tour!

This experience was the highlight of my stay in Central Vietnam! Both the driver, Mr. Hoa, and guide, Phi, were incredible and had so much knowledge to share. I also very much appreciated how personable and accommodating they were given the heat level, rearranging the order of activities, and also providing water and an umbrella to ensure I was well taken care of. Can’t forget to mention that the included lunch was delicious - I was able to try several dishes, all amazing. This is a tour I will recommend to anyone visiting in the future. I’m excited to return to Hue again and continue learning more about the history and culture of Vietnam.

The city of Hue is amazing, and even though we only got a small taste of it, Ms. Van made such an impression on us that we’re already convinced Hue will be the centerpiece of our next trip to Vietnam. As others have mentioned, this is a LONG day whether you’re departing from Da Nang or Hoi An — but it is absolutely worth it if you have the time. Our trip from Hoi An started at 7:30 a.m. and we returned just before 6:00 p.m., made possible in large part by the fantastic driving skills of Mr. Hao. Driving in Vietnam is truly something to behold and definitely not for the faint of heart, but with Hao behind the wheel we felt completely safe the entire time. He also made the journey genuinely enjoyable with his warm personality and great company. Ms. Van was simply incredible — the perfect blend of knowledge, intelligence, and kindness. Through her storytelling and deep understanding of the history of Vietnam, Hue, and the royal family, she gave us a far richer appreciation not only of the places we visited, but also of the people and culture. Thank you both for an unforgettable day!

Long day but worth it. The Citadel and Forbidden City were beautiful. Our guide, Ms. Vân, was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a wonderful lunch proper to returning to Hoi An. Would defined recommend!

This is a long day but well worth it A long drive to Hue but some very scenic roads and had a couple of stops for photos and refreshments. The driver,Mr Hoang was very accommodating and thoughtful. He made the journey seem shorter, and we felt very safe with his standard of driving. Excellent. Once in Hue, we picked up our guide, Ms Trinh - Lotus She is an amazing guide and very professional and friendly and personable. She was very knowledgeable and made the day special. Although a rainy day, our guide Ms. Ly (Lily) and driver Mr. Luyen, made the most of our day. We were picked up in Da Nang for approx. a 2 hour drive to Hue where we met Ms. Ly. We visited temples, the palace, the Pagoda and took a dragon boat ride on the river. Lunch was at a local restaurant and was a great experience on its own. We could not have asked for a better, more informative guide. Our driver was with us from 9am pickup until dropping us back in Da Nang around 7:30pm....great value for our day.

We had a great day visiting Hue City. Our driver, Mr. Hao, was very engaging on our trip from Hoi An and back again, answering our questions and sharing information about his country. Fi, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and explained, very patiently, the history of the region. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in history!

We had a customized trip from Da Nang to Hue + transfer to Dong Hoi. The itinerary was a bit complicated, but everything was planned and executed very smoothly. Mr. Hao, our driver was very friendly and we had a good chat. Ms. Van was knowledgeable and gave us a very nice overview of the Hue city. Everyone involved was very professional and efficient.

We arrange a last minute day visit to Hue from Hoi An. Our driver Mr Luyen was a great driver; and our tour guide Ms.Ngoc was both knowledgeable and charming. Brilliant company and highly recommended.

This was a beautiful tour. It is a long ride from Hoi A but our driver Mr. Hau made sure we were comfortable at all times. Our tour guide in Hue Ms. Trinh was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the sites and she shared with us many insights from the Buddhism and it was the perfect complement for this tour. I strongly recommend it!

Mr. Hau was super patient. With basic English, he made us feel welcomed and not rushed. He even stayed an extra hour to take us to a delicious dinner in Hue and then drop us off on a hotel in the outskirts of the city. We were able to customize our tour to our liking. He was always waiting for us at the pickup point. His driving was smooth, allowing us to rest (and sleep) on the way.

We booked the private tour from Hoi An to Hue. Instead of coming back to Hoi An, we had asked them to drop us off at the Hue airport. They were very accommodating. Until we got to Hue, we just had the driver. We stopped in a few places but had no explanations. I am still rating this a 5 because there is no 4 and a half. We picked up our guide, Ms. Van in Hue. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. It was a great tour and we truly enjoyed it.

The guide Ms Trinh was really helpful,likeable, friendly and knowledgeable. She also took some great photos. Mr Vu the driver got us there and back safely. His English wasn't too bad either. It was a long day and I think more should be said in the advertising about how many steps you had to climb at the attractions, the only reason for not giving 5 stars. Trinh was really helpful at these places and couldn't do enough. This wouldn't be an issue to younger people but should be noted for seniors!

Fantastic tour from Hoi An to Hue with Mr. Long (driver) and Ms. Van (tour guide). We only had 2 nights in Hoi An but we managed to make the best use of time to visit Hue whilst in Central Vietnam. Our driver Mr. Long was friendly, took us to some great spots and provided water and good service. Our tour guide Ms. Van was very knowledgeable on the tour and took us to a fantastic local restaurant to eat some Banh Beo which was delicious! I really recommend this tour if you're short on time and want to see all that Hue has to offer as well as see the beautiful Hai Van Pass on the way there. The views from the car was breath taking! Overall, fantastic trip with wonderful staff!

We had a wonderful time on this trip despite some drizzling rain. The drive from Hoi An to Hue showed us the spectacular coastline and hills expertly navigated by Mr Hau. Hue is a beautiful city and different to others in Vietnam. The imperial history is well worth learning about and our guide Ruby was very knowledgeable of her city. She organised a very special lunch as well with specialties of Hue. A long day but a good one.

Hue is a superb place, and the tour was perfect organised. Even it's 2.5h away from Hoian, it's with taking it. The Imperial palace, the Buddhist pagoda, the last king/emperor tomb, and not be forgotten the picturesque pass with incredible views. Mr Liu, the driver, was very kind, attentive and discrete, found the best spots to stop fur perfect photos and for good breaks. Smoothly drive, relaxing. The local guide, Ms Ha is such a nice person, knowledgeable, cool down, having the best pace of the visit, teaching me and showing me a lot of interesting details and places in Hue. Great tour

We had a superb outing with our driver Hua. He was on time, polite and helpful (lots of cold bottled water and cold compresses on a very hot day) and an excellent driver. The car was clean, modern and very comfortable (we were two - my wife and I). We had a private tour of old Hue with a tour guide he picked up (as prearranged), and Hua met us at the designated spots to ferry us around Hue efficiently. The return to Hoi An took us to the north west of (and then through) Da Nang and we took in some beautiful vistas (the Lagoon and Pass) before descending into Da Nang proper and heading back to Hoi An. Hua is an experienced driver and it showed as he handled the mountain and city roads with ease. We could relax and enjoy all the various sites along the way.

Amazing day trip from Hoian to Hue to explore the ancient capital of Vietnam under the Nguyen Dynasty. We had a great time to visit the Citadel, KhaiDinh tomb and Thien Mu pagoda. Lunch was wonderful at a local restaurant called Hanh. It was very hot and humid but it was worth a visit

Our driver, Dê, was amazing. First of all he was very punctual, which is very appreciable. Then he told us a lot of stories about the different stops on the road, and he even made us discover some good local adresses to eat, or have a drink, all with beautiful points of view. He also gave us good advices to visit Hué. Finally he was very very helpful, to find a place for our luggages, which saved our day, and let us free to fully enjoy the Hue touristic experience.

We were picked up from our hotel in Hoi A yesterday, by our lovely and very careful driver Din, at 8.30am. We had the most wonderful day trip to Hue, stopping on the way at Marble Mountain, Hai Van pass to marvel at the views and Lang Co beach. We were met in Hue, by the local guide Long, who was very friendly, informative and had a true passion for showing us the wonderful places in Hue. We visited the Thien Mu Pagoda, Thuan Hoa, Tomb of Khai Dinh, Hue Imperial City and a Dragon boat trip on the Perfume River. Many thanks to both Long and Din, who made the day so wonderful. Highly recommended.

The drive to Hue from Hoi An is long 3+ hours. The driver Mr Tan was courteous, friendly and although did not speak English well he went out of his way to make the excursion pleasant. I would skip the mountain pass for it is really unnecessary with no stops and took too much time. Lang Co beach was a nice stopover and picturesque. Hue was great. The tomb, pagoda and citadel were worth the trip. The dragon boat was really unnecessary. Sue, my guide in Hue was awesome. She explained things yet gave you space and not overwhelming. 5 star for the guide and driver. 4 for the tour because of the unnecessary things like the pass and the boat.

I took the tour during the Tet holidays and the tour was really beautiful, interesting and informative. My guide, Ms Trin, was extremely knowledgeable and informed me about the history of the Hue citadel and the lives of the emperors of the Nguyen dynasty. The tour also included some of their tombs and Ms Trinh informed me about the different architectural styles she adopted to build them and the materials used, in particular for the tomb of Emperor Khai Din.

We were staying in Hoi An and as part of our travels wanted to visit Hue. It is a long trip (3 to 3.5hrs) but worth it. Our driver (Mr De) for the day was chatty and informative on the way to the city stopping off at vantage points for great photos. We met our guide Ms Van at the 1st site which was just outside the city at the mausoleum for one of the past kings. The citadel of Hue was pretty spectacular and an oasis of calm within the modern city itself. Our Guide Ms Van was so informative and knowledgeable about the history of Hue (her home town) it made for an enjoyable day. Well with a visit. Journey back was the less scenic route but a lot quicker. Included was lunch at a local restaurant serving local dishes.
