We had SUCH a fun time! It was great to get out of the city for a bit. The folks that drove the boats did a get job making it fun with very little English (Viet is so sweet!). Coffee making was entertaining. Finally, we made lanterns which was simple and we came away with a beautiful souvenir!

Amazing experience! Our guide Lan was so nice, friendly and helpful, made the whole trip seamless. The Cau Lau noodles for lunch was delicious. The lantern making class was short but a great experience! We brought our almost 3 year old along and he had a blast! Very family friendly and just the right amount of time :) would definitely recommend!
We only did the basket boat tour, the lady running the place is lovely and very friendly. The tour was great, the man who took us out showed us some local fishing techniques. They gave us free water and cold towels as it was so hot that day. We couldn't stay for lunch but the food looked good, would recommend
We booked the tour which included round trip transfer between the hotel to the fishing village, the ride on the basket boat, and the lunch (noodle and tasty iced coffee). The host was run by a family business, friendly staff despite of the language barrier. The ride on basket boat was a superb experience and the performance by the fisherman was exciting. The surroundings along the riverside was relaxing and pleasant journey. We departed at 10 am and it was a good timing (escape the heat). Surely it was a highly recommended activity.
We had so much fun going down the river and spinning in the basket boats for an extra 100k dong. We ended up catching a few coconut crabs in the Palm forest with some bait. And let out a net to catch one fish in the water which we let go. We made delicious coffee and had a yummy noodles. A great family owned company who are attentive at every step of the way.
Nice staff who made me feel welcome since we had arrvied! Nice route begined with enclosed environment where we indulged ourselves in the tranquility of the area and continues towards open waters where we enjoyed the hustle and bustle.
We went on this tour around the coconut forest in the morning when it was less crowded. We even caught a crab! The local lunch was yummy. It would've been nice to learn more about the history and ecosystem of the forest, but nonetheless, it was a lovely quick last minute tour we booked for a free day we had!
Very nice experience, even by rain. You meet local farmer and learn how to plant rice, and have the opportunity to ride a very friendly buffalo. Then the basket boat tour, very beautiful and out of the time through the canal before reaching the very animated river with spectacles and spinning show. We patiently fished with our captain and were successful. On return, you eat the hoi an special noodle and they bring you back to the hotel. It was a very nice experience, well organized and friendly guides. Thank you for these beautiful memories.
Excellent boat trip and meal! Well recommended! We spent the whole day here and took part in all the activities on offer.
tour was lovely - good views and very kind bamboo basket boat drivers. Crabbing was also a lot of fun
This was such a fun thing to do. It was pretty rowdy when we went lots of good fun though. Our bamboo boat paddler really wanted us to have a good time. She kept singing and wanting us to be happy. The experience was capped off by a lovely lunch at the facility. They also have great Vietnamese coffee. I highly recommend for a fun time.
Beautiful experience! The boat rowers are such hard workers and they row the basket boats beautifully. They take great pictures and are very friendly even though they only speak Vietnamese. Would definitely recommend riding these! They also provide life jackets, hats, and an umbrella. Such respect for these workers!
Fun activity, our guide was very friendly and showed us around the palm forest. The crabbing was enjoyable. Was not expecting the boat raves
Great experience. Very friendly staff. Good prices. Around 45 minutes. 150 VDN per person. Lots of fun.
nice activity, nice people Don’t go in the spinning boat, they will ask way to much money. They force you to write a review
The tour and experience were very fun the owners looked after us and made sure we had a good time gave us free drinks on arrival and departure, highly recommend.
Great tour easy to organise and got free coke and water, guide was very nice and can pay 100k to be spun around
Excellent service and friendly staff, delicious local food was great. Is a must do thing at Hoi An!! Great experience!!!
Amazing people and beautiful ride in the river. Beautiful colors and great energy! It is a must do in Hoi An. Do not miss it!
It was incredibly fun! Everybody was really nice and the people are really sweet. I’d recommend booking with them.
We had a great time going around in the water, watching some boat dancing and some spinning ourselves as well as catching ourselves some crabs! Our tour guide was great fun and a lovely guy. Not only this but much cheaper than the others and nice to give to a smaller company
Amazing!! Had the best time on the coconut boat including crab fishing and watching the spinning dancing. Our tour guide was so fun and friendly- 100% recommend. A must do in Hoi An!
This was an excellent day tour full of fun! Our driver and guide were so kind and friendly, helpful and informative. The boat tour was terrific fun, complete with the crabbing and fish net throwing, and basket boat spinning!! Our day ended with a delicious meal prepared by our hosts! Highly recommend this tour!
I had so much fun doing this as part of my Feel Free tour (great tour company btw). Beautiful scenery, boat rowers are super fun and have good senses of humour. They had music and wild spinning rides. So good!
We had a great time on the tour. The local guides know what they are doing. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this tour to anyone.
We booked out morning on the basket boats and cooking class before we left. I emailed back and forth with Hung Le. He was very quick at responding and always so friendly. His English was excellent! The morning of: The driver was there in a very nice suv to pick us up at the arranged time (9am). The driver did not speak much English but did do a good job try to communicate with us. The drive was about 10mins. When arrived at the destination, Jung Le came out to greet us and took us straight on the bucket boats for an hour and a bit! It was so much fun! We all had a blast! One of the best experiences! Our guide didn’t speak much English but enough to get by and tell us about what we were seeing or what was going on. So many photo ops along the way! Lots of fun things happening on the water. Even karaoke. Plus a little crab fishing. The Coconut forest is stunning with actually some history from the war. The Coconut forest became a safe haven where conserve revolutionary forces of Hoian. The coconut forest is not just a historic relic, but also a unique ecological area with submerged forest system and stunning landscape. It is also the home of many species of marine life. Especially shrimp, crab and mollusks. The boats had enough room for 2 adults and the guide. We did see other boats that had 3 adults and a small child. There was also room for my spouses day backpack and my purse. They give you Vietnamese hats to wear which was really fun! The seats were not too bad to sit on. They allow you to try and paddle the boat if you want. Which was harder than it looked. The guides also double as photographers which was really nice. When we arrived back Hung Le’s his wife met us at the pier. She was super friendly and a joy to talk too. She brought us out cold towels to help cool off and the most incredible Vietnamese coffee. Which we had tried a few other places. Her’s is the best by far!!! Then we were off to our private cooking class. Where we meet our instructor Tuyet. She was the sweetest person ever. We wanted to take her home with us. She spoke very good English, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She did an incredible job teaching us meals we can make at home. She is very skilled! I never through I would be able to make a flower decoration from a tomato. We made Spring rolls and three other dishes that I can not remember what they were. Everything was so tasty but the spring rolls were my favourite. We made so much food. Then on top of all the food we made they brought out more food for us. The 4 of us could not eat it all! The guys did not cook but did help us eat. After Hung Le took us back to the car and away we went back to the hotel! It was the perfect morning in Hoi An! The price per person $35usd for transportation, bucket boat tour and cooking class. Which is a great price! I would have paid more for this experience. Was about 4 hours! The guys paid $17usd for transportation and bucket boats. Plus watched the cooking class and got to eat all the food! Amazing value!
Every good experience of this trip. Nice guided tour, they are happy to help! Their English is very good. Umbrellas are also provided during the trip. Tourists are encouraged to book this tour in Vietnam.
A real boat tour with a fishing specialist! The locals are very friendly, the guide makes nice pictures, he makes crab fishing and it is a much less touristic visit than the others!
