We had an absolutely fantastic food tour with Jackie. She took us to some amazing spots, shared interesting insights about each dish, and was able to answer every question we had. We truly enjoyed every stop. She takes her job very seriously, so make sure to come hungry 😉 This tour is an absolute must.

The food tour is highly recommended. Jackie is wonderful. Her English skills are excellent and she used her story telling skills at every stop. She was very engaging and made sure that everyone was at ease. Her knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and Hoi an was extensive! This is a must. The food was amazing as well.

What a great experience with Jackie yesterday afternoon. It was just the two of us, so a private tour visiting great food places in Hoi An. Starting at the White Rose and seeing the ladies make the dumpling and then eating them freshly steamed was amazing. Each food place Jackie took us too was different but so tasty and fresh. Jackie explained about the dishes and when the Vietnamese people would eat them. I can't rate this tour highly enough and Jackie was the best guide we have had in Vietnam, her English was great and we enjoyed her company for a few special hours. When in Hoi An do this tour, lots of food you will not be hungry at the end! Thanks Jackie.

We had the most incredible walking street food tour in Hoi A with Andy. The food was beyond amazing, every stop was something special and many were places we would never have discovered on our own. It felt like being shown the real Hoi An through the eyes of a local. Andy was absolutely wonderful, incredibly knowledgeable, sincere and genuinely invested in making sure we had a fantastic experience. He shared so much about the food, the culture, and the history along the way, which made the whole afternoon even more memorable. This was easily one of the highlights of our time in Hoi An. We’re already looking forward to coming back and having Andy take us to even more hidden food spots next time.

Fully recommended. Jackie was an excellent guide with a perfect English. All the good reviews you will read about Jackie and the tour are accurate. On top, we were lucky and we had a private tour as we were the only people attending the tour. You will not need more food after the tour :)

Loved the food tour. Tasted about 10 local dishes and the were delicious. Visited a mix between very local places and a few bit more popular places amongst tourist. Group size for us was small (5 people) which allowed us to ask many questions and learn about the city from our amazing guide Emma!

We were met by Jackie, who gave us a perfect insight into authentic local food. From dumplings to a black soup cooked on the street (which initially looked intimidating but was absolutely delicious). Jackie was so kind, and explained everything clearly in her excellent English). Can’t recommend this tour enough. Fabulous food and a perfect guide. 10 out of 10 from us!

Thuy was a great guide to local Hoi An family cafes. Lots to eat and Thuy was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative about the city. Highly recommend!

We loved exploring the streets of Hoi An with Jackie. The food tour was great. You definitely want to come hungry. We had skipped lunch and it was a good thing! We tried things like the black sesame soup and the rice cakes (which aren’t at all what you might be thinking) which we definitely wouldn’t have found on our own. And the Bun soup was amazing.

Emma was incredible!! Super knowledgeable about all the food and the rich history of the city, would definitely recommend.

Emma was so informative and lovely. She gave us a great experience and answered all of our questions in detail. We were the only ones on the tour and it was a very special experience. The food stops were varied and interesting and very tasty.

We have just finished our walking street food tour with our lovely tour guide Emma. She took us to places that as tourists we would never visit, and ate local foods cooked by local people. She was extremely knowledgeable and spoke really good English! The icing on the cake (excuse the pun!) was that she even bought a cake for my husbands birthday. A truly memorable experience.

This tour was awesome and Emma was a great guide! She was very high energy and spunky, plus her English was great. It was nice to be able to talk to the guide beyond just the very basics. The food was incredible, we stopped at 7 different places to sample food from high end down to a bootleg sidewalk vendor. One meal was even inside someone's house. I was stuffed by the end of it. Would recommend and do it again.

We did the afternoon food tour with Emma as our guide and another couple. Emma was great; providing us Vietnam history and explaining their culture and foods. We did 7 food stops and tried over 10 different food dishes including vietnamese coffee. Highly recommend !! Come hungry.. .. so many excellent food stops.

Off the beaten path, amazing taste experience! Our guide, Jackie, was a delight.. so friendly and informative! We had many delicious bites, a number in the homes of the chef. She shared tradition, culture, and the fact that many of our tastes were from 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation family recipes. Her pride in explaining the beautiful back stories was evident.. we're thrilled to have shared this time with her!

Did this walking food tour this afternoon and can't recommend it more. Andy was a great guide, taking us to a mix of famous and lesser known restaurants and keeping our group engaged and interactive. Don't eat lunch beforehand. The food was excellent and keeps on coming.

We started with the best Banh Mi in Hoi An and continued on this path for the rest of the tour. Jackie was an amazing host, professional, knowledgeable, pleasant and funny. We had a wonderful evening and it is the best way to start off your Hoi An experience.

Tour with Jackie who was very friendly and well informed. Jackie showed us great little spots over the course of a few hours and a side of Hoi An we wouldn't have found ourselves. Absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about the local eating culture. Be warned, there's a deceptively large amount of eating happening on this tour. Our guide, Jackie was an excellent host. We were fortunate to be the only ones on the tour so it turned out to be a private tour! Jackie was professional and spoke superb English. She was very knowledgeable about the food and backgrounds of the families serving the various dishes we sampled. We have Emma as our tour guide. It’s an excellent tour for food lovers. We tried 8 dishes in different locations. Each stop is about 5 mins away. Emma did an excellent job on explaining each dish and her English is very good. We also did the boat ride and played the local bingo game. Lots of fun. Highly recommend her service if you heading to Hoi An for vacation.

Host Jackie was perfect. Gentle, kind, good English & sense of humour. She was informative & obviously liked by our various food hosts/chefs too. Jackie even sent us some pics of our evening by WhatsApp later. Nearly 4 hours passed quickly. The walking wasn't far, the furthest maybe a 7 - 8 minute stroll between meals. Plenty of very delicious food, some of which we would never have otherwise tried. If you can walk, you should do it.

This is a must do… incredible food, and fabulous guide with Quin. It really takes you to the local secret gems…. Suggest you skip breakfast before hand because so much food !!

I had such a great tour with Jackie, she was so knowledgeable about the local food specialities of Hoi An including how they are made and what ingredients are used, as well as the history of the dishes. All the food was absolutely delicious too. The salt coffee was amazing! Skip breakfast/lunch if you do this tour.

We took the tour with our local guide, Jackie. It was incredible. We tried so many different types of food, all in super-friendly, homey places that the locals really go to. It was just my partner and I who took the tour with Jackie, and she was wonderful. She explained the food and how to eat it, and she also shared lots of interesting facts about Vietnamese culture and lifestyle. Highly recommended. You'll want to be hungry, though, because you'll end up eating like crazy. Thank you Jackie!
