We had a great time, and our guide Hoai Bao was very helpful and informative. Hoi An at night is beautiful, and the Banh Mi was heavenly! Our kids loved all the lanterns, boat ride, and releasing the lanterns into the river. It was a very special night and we highly recommend everyone to do the night walking tour when in Hoi An.

Picking up at your hotel (Private tour) or in front of Emm hotel Hoi An (Group tour). We start the Hoi An street food tour. The first place is the White rose dumplings restaurant. We will learn how to make the White rose dumplings with the locals, made from tapioca, shrimps, porks and mushrooms. We will steam them in hot water and enjoy what you just made!
The second place in our itinerary is the BBQ at Ba Le Well. This is the famous BBQ restaurant in Hoi An. We will enjoy a set of BBQ included the Vietnamese rice pancakes, BBQ lean- porks, spring rolls, salads, and mango sweet cakes.
The next place is the famous chicken rice shop " Ba Buoi". As you know, Hoi An chicken rice is the must-try specialty. We will enjoy the fried rice with small pieces of free-range chicken meats and salad.
This is one of our highlights on this food tour. As you know, this Banh Mi (Bread sandwich) is the No.1 bread sandwich in over the world. Anthony Bourdain voted this is the No. 1 bread sandwich in over the world. You can choose the ingredients inside the bread.
The last stop is the Mi Quang Ong Hai shop. This is the last place on our itinerary. We will enjoy the best Quang Noodle soup in Hoi An with salad, lean- porks, shrimps, quail eggs.

We did our tour with Fletcher and the whole experience was excellent. Food and cooking choices were all delicious, and his exceptional English and cheerful and open-hearted approach to his job made the whole evening both informative and fascinating. We learnt about way more than just local food. Strongly recommend!!
We arrived at the meeting point for the tour 5 minutes early. We were met by our guide and taken to the first restaurant. Once we got to the restaurant, we waited 20 minutes for another group of 5 to join us with another guide. It was then another 15 minutes for food to arrive. Once the food arrived, the two guides were a distance away, talking on their phones. Once we had finished eating they finally came back to tell us about the two small dishes we had received. They then disappeared for another 10 minutes. When they returned, another group of 6 were brought in. So after 65 minutes, we were finally divided into two groups. This tour was chaotic so far. The next stop was at an old house, where we were shown around before going somewhere else to eat. Although the house has some great history, sorry, we had paid a food tour, not a tour of a house with a gift shop. An hour and a half into the tour we arrived at the second of five stops. Then had to wait outside the restaurant for a table. This really isn't the pace of the tour that was expected. An hour and a half into the tour we arrived at the second of five stops. Then had to wait outside the restaurant for a table. This really isn't the pace of the tour that was expected. Overall we made it to all 5 locations, with the final one at the night markets. This had a great atmosphere. We were really looking forward to this food tour, based on other food tours we have completed. Overall it was disappointing to start with but the night did have moments that were enjoyable and all food tried was delicious. Our guide was friendly and tried to answer all of our questions.

Huy was very very good - we made dumplings and ate them at one place and then tried local dishes including noodles and pancakes at two further venues. He explained a lot about the food and Hoi An - it was a brilliant tour and well worth the money.
An absolute highlight of our stay in Hoi An. Na was incredible- her English and knowledge was amazing. The day started in a lovey cafe for coffee then off to the food markets. Back to Na’s home where she took us to the village vegetable gardens. Then our cooking class, with the foods that we had gathered at the market. Added bonus massage ! We were family of 4 , 18 year and 21 year old- 4 other awesome people on tour. Food and hospitality an absolute highlight! Nothing was a problem for Na - she catered for everyone’s dietary/ needs.
We had such a lovely evening trying lots of delicious food from places we probably wouldn’t have gone to in our own. Just a note that you don’t follow the what to expect exactly but you will leave full! Our guide Mr Dung was great and had lots to share with us. We were even able to delay the tour by a day when one of us got sick.
Although it was super busy, due to Independence Celebration, we got to go down alleys, into eateries and tried food that we would not have ever looked at. Their food was amazing, the staff very friendly and our guides were informative, super obliging and.considerate to our needs. If in Hoi An I would definitely recommend you do this.
Mr Dung was a great guide. He gave lots of information during the tour about the food we were trying. Heaps of variety in the places we went to. With some extra surprise stops on the way. Lots of food but can share with those you are traveling with.
My wife and I enjoyed this food tour. Mr Thịnh was an excellent guide. All was great and perfect. 5 ⭐️ Tip- skip your earlier meals and save your tummy space for this tour.
Mr Dung took just my husband and I to five places to eat Hoi A local foods, some famous, some we would not have found ourselves. He explained each dish and how to eat it and showed us the water well essential to the local noodles. We enjoyed our evening and ate too much, of course, thank you!
Sam and Didi were fantastic tour guides. They weren’t pushy or rushed us- instead, they gave us an insightful experience and taste of Hoi An. They’re kindness and knowledge helped us immerse ourselves and learn the cultural of Hoi An. A great thing to do if you aren’t sure what to eat! Highly recommend Sam and Didi’s tour.
This was the second of 5 food tours that my husband and I did in Vietnam and the first of 3 that I booked through Culture Pham Travel, which was great when it came to booking and communications. Our meeting point for this tour was a good 30-minute walk from our hotel. I wish we had started at the first stop, which was a little closer, especially when they realized that we were the only 2 people booked for that day, but I know the first stop can sometimes be a bit busy. We were met by Mr. Dung “Kawee,” and he was a great guide at all of the different stops. This was very much a food-focused tour (not a lot of extra history or culture even though food is a huge part of culture), and we definitely left full. What I loved about this tour was that there were so many Hoi An specialties like white rose dumplings and cao lau noodles. I was also glad that while there was some deviation from what the website description said (the cao lau noodles and BBQ stops were separated into 2 stops instead of 1, so we didn’t have Quang noodles), we did go to the banh mi shop made famous by Anthony Bourdain’s visit years ago. I think we had better banh mi, even in Hoi An, but I would’ve sought Banh Mi Phuong out separately if we hadn’t known it was part of the tour. It was nice that it was included. We ended a little earlier than expected, but that’s probably just because it wound up being a private tour.
Fantastic evening with Jackie visiting local restaurants we probably wouldn’t have visited on our own. Great way to sample the delights of the local food. Would definitely recommend
Thank you to Jackie for a great evening sampling the local foods of Hoi An. We were taken to restaurants that we would not have tried on our own. Great variety of food and plenty of it. You will not be hungry after this!
Our food tour had lots of amazing things to eat and we got to see lots of great cultural aspects of hoi an and the old town. The banh mi was incredible. Our guide Mike was super knowledgeable, extremely upbeat and friendly, can’t recommend him enough
Thank you to Mr Huy for that tour It was a lot of amazing food. Loved every dish i tried Not a huge amount of information about the foods and flavors tho
I was only taken to 2 of the 5 places that are mentioned on the tour description. The tour guide was nice enough to take me to other places that he said were local favorites but in reality it seemed like he was just trying to find any place open that served what the other places had. So, before you book it, ask the tour guide to tell you which places they will take you. Also, a little expensive for what you get.
We had 5 different food places to visit but due to weather conditions, monsoon rains all day flooded several streets, we only visited 4 of the stalls. the food was lovely and very original. By the time we got to the last place we were struggling to eat much as all stalls provided high quality and large dishes of food. A great way to spend an evening
My girlfriend and I booked the tour for our first visite in Hoi An. Our guide was really friendly and told us all about the City and even gave us a lot lf recommendations beyond the tour. The restaurants/ food carts we visited felt truly authentic and the food was great. Make sure to get there hungry.
Fantastic tour with very knowledgeable guide Ting. Tasted some local food and learnt about the history of Hoi An. Would recommend!
My guide mr nghia was wonderful, very friendly easy to understand and very helpful even taking me to get awesome shoes made after my tour finished. Highly recommend him and would suggest asking for him to do your as he’s so helpful and knowledgeable and very accommodating
Great food tour, Fletcher was very friendly and knowledgeable, lovely food, very happy and full at the end of the evening!!
This Street Food walking tour of Hoi An was brilliant 🌟For starters we met in an area we hadn’t discovered, we visited restaurants and cafes we didn’t know existed (and probably wouldn’t have walked into if we did😳) and had an informative and interesting tour. Thank you Duang, you were an absolute delight. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the tour and the commentary🌸 HIGHLY RECOMMEND🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We did the Hoi An Street Food Walking Tour with friends and our amazing guide Fletcher. We made our own dumplings and the moves onto Cao Lau (special pork noodle soup), banh mi, rice paper rolls and banana pancakes. We rolled back to our hotel - were all so full! 😀 🤔 Thank you Fletcher for a great adventure!
Mr Dung was very informative and introduced us to some really delicious Hoi An food. We loved the white rose dumplings and the pancakes in rice paper. Mr Dung taught us an efficient way to wrap the pancakes with the rice paper (Ban Xeo) and gave us the secret recipe to the peanut dipping sauce. We liked Ban Xeo so much we went back to Quan Cao Lau BaLe 2 more times on our own. The chicken rice (Com Ga) was not what I expected. Not like the Singapore chicken rice at all. We were too full after that to fully appreciate the other lovely dishes - Ban Mi Phuong and Mr Hai's noodles (cao lu and mi quang). A thoroughly enjoyable night and the best way to get to know a town.
What a lovely evening with our excellent tour guide Mr. Quan. He took us to 5 local hiden restaurants to enjoye the best Hoi An street foods. We also learned how to make the white rose dumplings and enjoyed what we made. Quan shared us a lot of information about the local life, local culture as well as the Hoi An nightlife. I 100% recommend this tour.
Excellent street food tour in Hoi An with our excellent guide Mr. Quan. He was very flexible and thoughtful. We enjoyed the white rose dumplings making experience and all the food listed. Highly recommend this tour.
Great tour guide Fletcher delicious food should get more than 1 bottle water tho for the price water should be unlimited a bit scary walking the streets with all the traffic and dodging obstacles
Knowledgeable tour guide with full of passion in his job. Food was delicious and diverse at hidden restaurants. Pick up on time and very quick responese via Whatsapp. Highly recommend this tour.
My kids and parents came on this tour so we customised it a little (using electric cars to and from the old town area); we focused on fewer places like the Hokkien Assembly Hall and Tan Ky House. Fletcher was a super nice guide and entertained my kids while we waited for my parents. Food recommendations were delicious; we also signed up for the evening food tour and got to try the world's best banhn mi; great experience overall!
Had a great time on this foodie tour. Went into some local restaurants that might not had ventured in on our own. Would recommend
Wonderful evening walking through the city and enjoying food from multiple locations! Our guide was excellent and went out of his way to give us a memorable evening.
I had a great time. Fletcher was both a knowledgeable and professional guide and a very likeable person that it was a pleasure to spend an evening with. We tasted lots of good food and had a great time. I would highly recommend this tour!
Lovely evening with a lot of delicious food at hidden restaurants. We enjoyed it very much and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He povided us a lot of information about Hoi An history and Hoi An cuisine as well as the daily local life. It was such a nice tour to admire Hoi An and enjoy the best Hoi An street food trail.
Went to three different restaurants. Guide was fair and did not explain ingredients or explain how to eat different items. One item served was chicken with rice, and although good was not anything special.. Other items eaten were different or exceptional in taste
Fletcher was absolutely great! Very knowledgeable about his home city and because it was just the 2 of us on this tour I got to learn a lot from him including about a special well in Hoi An that I could tell he was very proud of. The food stops were delicious and you’ll be stuffed. I had a blast!
Mr Quan was a very good host and would very much recommend this trip. Not only did he conduct the tour really well, he was able to direct and advise in many other areas. Thank you again MR Wuan.
What an unbelievable experience and amazing way to enjoy Hoi An and it’s incredible food. Our tour guide Mr Quan was so knowledgeable about the area as well as the history of Vietnam. Highly recommend!!
My husband & I booked this tour last minute & I wasn’t expecting it to be one of the highlights of our 3 week trip, but it absolutely was. The food was nothing short of amazing, a bit of everything local/specific to Hoi An. Almost all of it off the beaten path, except for the Bahn Mi stop made famous by Anthony Bourdain, which was worth it. Our guide Quan was incredible & the tour wouldn’t have been the same without him, no doubt. So fun to be with, so informative, genuine, funny & personable. Do this tour & ask for Quan.
Great food tour of Hoi An with the best Banh Mi, chicken rice, BBQ pork, Pancakes, dumplings, etc. Our guide was kind, friendly and thoughtful. Everything was well organized. Highly recommend it.
Good food, excellent tour guide and well organized tour. We loved all the foods at hidden local restaurants. 100% worth it.
Quân was our guide and he was very good. We tried many local dishes and talk about the city’s history
We met with Ms. Van and she was knowledgeable, funny, and super friendly. Ms. Van took us to six places specialized in foods unique to Hue and we truly had a wonderful time. Hue is considered the Foodies's Heaven and we can honestly said by doing this tour, we were indeed in foodies's heaven. We highly recommend this delicious and reasonable priced tour with Cultural Pham Travel and Ms. Van as your tour guide.
Excellent tour guide and delicious street foods of Hoi An. If you are looking for a great evening, you must do this tour with our local guide Mr Quan. Highly recommed him and this food tour in Hoi An.
Has a great night finding out about local food and lifestyle with Mr Quan. He was a great guide and took me ro places I would have never found by myself. He is very knowledgeable about Hoi An ans the lifestyle. Great tour thank you!!
What a fantastic tour around the beautiful UNESCO town of HoI An. Our guide, Quan, was super knowledgeable, incredibly helpful and very cheerful as he took us around to a few of the hidden gems of HoI An’s culinary scene. I cant recommend this tour enough, you wont regret it!
100% recomended! Our guide (Mr Quan) was so nice, he explained us a lot of curiosities about vietnamit cousine and culture. We taste 5 diferent recipes in curious and local places. Deftinitely one of the best plans we did in our trip in Vietnam
Mr Hoa provided a great food tour and an wonderful guide, Mr Quan. Quan’s English was excellent and he had a lot of local knowledge and food insights that he generously shared with us. He was more than happy to answer all our questions and we enjoyed our evening immensely. Would highly recommend!
Highly recommend this tour!! The food was all delicious as our tour guide Fletcher took us to his personal favourite spots to eat. Fletcher also made sure to point out other places for coffee and food along the way so we were loaded with local knowledge. Fletcher was welcoming and fun. He is a super personable tour guide who speaks amazing English so our conversations were all in depth. We had so much fun walking around Highly recommend taking this tour as soon as you arrive to orient yourself in the city and if you have Fletcher for a guide you’ll make a friend as well!! ♥️♥️
