We had a great trip with Andy & Tam and some amazing food! Andy was able to answer all of our questions, and we got to try lots of things we had never tasted before. Everything was absolutely delicious! Thank you both again for this wonderful experience.

We had a fantastic afternoon and evening with Nhi and Gong, both were very friendly and great guides. We visited many different places to eat lots of different Vietnamese dishes. We felt safe on the back of the bikes and it was a lovely way to get to see lots of Hoi An, we drove through the rice paddy fields and to see herb garden as well. Nhi was very knowledgeable about food, Vietnam and could answer all our questions as well as being great company. This was one of the highlights of our trip, I highly recommend doing it on your first night in Hoi An to get a taste of lots of different foods and of Hoi An. Thank you Nhi and Gong
The tour was wonderful. Our guides Andy and Leo were so kind, informative and took us to get the tastiest food! They were very safe drivers as well. Would definitely do again and would recommend very highly as we got to see parts of Hoi An we wouldn’t have seen otherwise.
Just finished this spectacular food tour with Nhi and team. It was the most fabulous 4hrs. So much food to try, so much local knowledge generously shared with us and we felt 100% safe on the back of their motorbikes. We highly recommend this particular tour to anyone who loves trying new food, has a sense of adventure and wonder and is looking for something fun to do. Thank you so much for a truly memorable afternoon.
Such a great thing to do. Nhi was really informative and we learnt a lot about the history of trade and food through the ages in Hoi An, tasted things from places we would never have thought to have tried (including the fertilised duck egg which is an absolute must with the herbs, fish sauce and a little spice!) and visited areas we woukd not have been able to in our limited time, including the vegetable gardens (which are amazing) and the paddy fields. Most of all, though, our 4 driver guides were such brilliant fun for my wife and I and our teenage children and they made the hours of Christmas afternoon and evening fly past with incredibly special memories for life - thank you SO much!
Went with my dad. We loved our tour with Kim and Hana. The pacing of the tour was excellent - even took a break to visit a local farm. Overall, we ate such delicious, authentic food and learned about Vietnamese history too. Worth it!
Quin was an excellent guide who was passionate and knowledgeable about Hoi An cuisine. Woody was an excellent scooter driver as well. I highly recommend this food tour that highlights unique, non touristy food stops with interesting culinary history.
We recently joined a food tour in Hoi An that took us around the city on scooters, and it was an incredible experience! The tour was well-organized and allowed us to see many different parts of Hoi An while learning about the local cuisine and its cultural significance. Throughout the tour, we visited a variety of restaurants and cafes, indulging in delicious street food along the way. One of the highlights was visiting gardens where fresh vegetables and herbs are cultivated. It was fascinating to see where some of our favorite dishes originate and to learn about the importance of these ingredients in Vietnamese cooking. Our guides were exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled motorcycle riders. They ensured that we felt safe and comfortable while navigating through the streets of Hoi An. Their enthusiasm for the local food and culture made the experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this food tour to anyone visiting Hoi An. It was a fantastic way to explore the city.
Excellent experience! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Andy & Ning! They not only brought us to fantastic restaurants, but they had lots of knowledge to share about Vietnam’s history & culture. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to get oriented in Hoi An and discover the best spots in the city.
My sister and I had an incredible motorbike food tour outing with Quin and Kim. They picked us up from our hotel and we jumped right into the food scene. They catered to my vegetarian diet and we zipped around to various spots we never would have discovered without them. The food was amazing but Quin and Kim's insights into daily life and culture in Hoi An left a lasting impression. In addition to that, Quin had excellent recommendations on where to go next! This tour really allowed us to make the most of our culinary experience in Hoi An.
Anh & Quin took us on a very tasty tour. We especially liked going to the organic farms where the farmers work endless hours so that we can eat delicious, healthy greens. Anh and Quin really looked after us and communicated during the day as it had been very rainy. We loved each location and the back ground stories. The birthday cake was a treat. Highly recommended,
Had a great private tour for me and my mate with Anh and Quin. Compared to other tours i've done, this is more like hanging out with some new friends - in a very good way. Quin and Anh were knowledgeable about the food and Hoi An but this is not a cookie-cutter experience. Much more like hanging out with some friends and chatting about food, culture, and history. Doesn't get much better. It may seem obvious, but try to skip lunch before you go - there's so much food!
We had such a fabulous afternoon / evening with Quinn and her friends. A group of 6 of us did this tour and it was an absolute highlight. This tour was very authentic, took us off the beaten track to the vegetable farms in the country and to many wonderful eateries. We tried many traditional foods that we wouldn’t have tried had we not done this tour, and all returned home feeling extremely full, extremely satisfied and grateful for our tour guides that also provided a lot of good laughs. Very good value for money and would absolutely recommend this tour. Thankyou Quinn and your friends; we really loved this experience!
Lyne and her brother Noah are amazing people. We had a brilliant time with them riding all over Hoi An and a few surprises along the way. Salt Coffee OMG brilliant. All the way from NZ to experience a magic time. Thankyou. Up the Wahs!!!
This is an absolute must-do tour in Hoi An! The food in this area of Vietnam is just incredible - each dish is really unique & expertly prepared. The food offerings on this particular tour are so generous and varied - it is a feast. Our guides - Quin & her lovely assistant were fantastic, Quin is a great guide - warm & friendly - she has a wonderful sense of humor, it is just a pleasure to spend the evening in her company. The kindness, patience, cultural exchange & conversations with our guides completely enhanced this delicious food experience. This adventure was the highlight of our trip to Hoi An. Don’t hesitate - book it - you will have the best time.
This was the best! Seeing Hoi An by motorbike is a must, and this tour gets you out into the rural area at sunset and in the town at night for very different and equally stunning views. Quinn and her colleagues were all great drivers, I am usually a nervous passenger but felt very safe! They are also very knowledgeable about the food and took us to locations filled with locals, an authentic experience for sure.
Thank you, Quin and her amazing colleagues, for this outstanding tour. We went to authentic places and experienced delicious Vietnamese street food such as white rose dumplings, amazing savoury rice pancakes, coffee, bahn mi, and some tropical fruits for dessert. She indulged my son with balut ( duck embryo ), which was quite an experience. We also had a very interesting trip to the organic vegetable garden, where we saw how they farm and grow all the beautiful greens we enjoy in the Vietnamese cuisine. I highly recommend going on this tour to experience and see Hoian. Remember to go hungry as there is so much food to enjoy. Worth every cent.
It was one of the most thing we loved about our trip to Vietnam. This food tour was fun, instructive, all about sharing experiences. Our guides were funny, thoughtful, they took great care of us. They teached us a lot about the food we eat and so much about the way they live in Vietnam. We also loved their curiosity about our culture, because of that we also can learn about theirs and also about the one of the couple who shared this experience with us who came from a different country Our only regrets is that we didn't share our food sooner in the tour with our guides Thank you again for this amaziiiiiiiiiing tour
The Hoi An food tour by motorbike is a must do if you want a flavour of the local food and culture and have fun doing it. Be sure to request for Quin, who was our tour guide. Quin and her friend Anh took my friend and I on a personalized tasting journey of some of the popular Vietnamese dishes at places frequented by locals. The highlight was tasting the Balut made by an elderly Vietnamese lady at a modest roadside stall. Motorbikes were a great way to explore the by-lanes of Hoi An. Since my friend is a vegetarian, Quin had arranged for vegetarian dishes everywhere. She even made sure we picked up vegetarian rice noodles, on the way, for them to be cooked at a hidden gem of an eatery. Quin also picked up a couple of raincoats for us when it started raining. The itinerary also included a visit to the village where they grow herbs and vegetables. Be sure to let them know of your dietary preferences in advance so they can plan the stops accordingly.
We had an EXCELLENT food tour in Hoi An with Lyn and Felix. They picked us up and skillfully took us to some hidden gems on motorbike. We truly appreciated the thoughtful choices - not just the delicious food, but the full exposure to learn more about the local Vietnamese culture, lifestyle, and flavors. If you're looking for a 'No Reservations' type experience, this tour is for you!
Incredibly fun and amazing way to see, taste and laugh with friendly, informative guides who clearly love their country and their food. Lynn the tour leader was a bundle of positive energy and ready laughs! Go!
Awesome food tour with Emma, Lee and Dat. Emma was very informative about the different foods we tried and took us to the gardens to see where the vegetables are grown. She was a great driver and I felt very safe on the back of her bike. Highly recommend doing this tour.
Delicious food, great bike riders, Emma our tour leader was a delight. We all really enjoyed our food tour.
We had a wonderful time, the guide was a pleasure to be with, going in the motorbike means you get to see more places. Is fun! Food was delicious!
Super fun with tons of local mom & pop streetside eats! One of my friends is a Hoi A resident and self proclaimed foodie and she was able to try new things and places too! So fun and highly recommend! Guides were fun, knowledgeable and enthusiastic
Despite the sudden reservation, the tour guide Emma and her team were extremely hospitable. Our experience was enjoyable and unforgettable. Make sure to come hungry for this tour. Each dish was delectable and now I'm craving them.
This was the best experience of the whole holiday. Nancy had so much detailed knowledge I learned a lot but most importantly enjoyed my time and loved all of the food. Highly recommended
We had an amazing tour. So much to look and experiencing amazing local foods. Our guides Emma & Lee were fantastic. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who’s keen to eat where the locals go. Great experiences not to miss.
This was an absolute highlight of our trip. Riding around on the back of a scooter was so much fun and we felt completely safe even though there doesn’t seem to be any road rules! Everybody is super chilled and there isn’t any road rage that we experienced. Our tour guides were so knowledgeable, friendly and took very good care of us. The food itself was incredible and almost too much - we very full at the end. The people are so welcoming and we visited places that we wouldn’t have found just walking around. Highly recommend!
So much fun! Emma is the best street food tour guide ever! She goes out of her way to make your tour enjoyable, taking into consideration your preferences. Felt perfectly safe on the bike, got a decent helmet. We not only sampled foods but also visited the Vietnamese Countryside to see farming village. We also went on a lantern boat because it was the lantern festival and there was some small snafu with my booking, but that is not regularly included. Tried so many awesome foods! Particularly liked the sweet mung bean soup and Cau Lau Noodles. Highly recommend!!
Friendly people excellent tour. The guides were very knowledgeable. will take the tour again. Beautiful sights.
Our family of 4 had a fantastic time with team Emma. It was a fun and unique experience riding the scooter going around Hoi An to taste lots of yummy local food. We were lucky to catch a beautiful sunset while spending some time at the countryside veggie herb farm. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys good food and company.
My partner and I had a wonderful experience on the Hoi An food tour with our guide Nancy. She took us around to some really wonderful locations and told us loads of information about each place we visited, the history behind the food and culture, and even took us to a few cultural spots around the city. I have honestly never encountered a more friendly and personable guide than Nancy in all the various tours I have done around the world. Truly an amazing experience that I highly, highly recommend to any traveler visiting Hoi An.
Emma and Lee were the best guides and we had the best time. This is low key the best way to get around, see more than what is walkable around your hotel, and get a local view of food and culture. We had such a blast, we forgot it was a tour and felt like we had made long time friends. They took us to the best spots, some so local they didn’t have an address! We told our guides we had gone to one spot previously, and she was so kind and adjusted the tour to hit spots we hadn’t been to before. Best tour. Best time. Best Guides!
Emma and Lee were our guides and they were great. They showed us some really local spots that we wouldn’t have found on our own. Also, they took us out to the farm land to show us where our food was grown. Amazing. Would def recommend this tour, also riding on a motor bike with a local is a must, very fun and very safe.
We loved this tour! We cycled from Old Town Hoi An, out through the rice fields and back to Hoi An. We had eight stops and the food was plentiful. Vi (Nancy) was great - very informative about each meal we had and taught us some Vietnamese - very cultured indeed. I feel Vi brought us to some gems in Hoi An and I couldn't recommend it enough. I also believe Vi brought us to the best coffee place in Vietnam. Vi was very funny and more than happy to answer all our questions - I feel I learned so much. She ensured we were safe on our bikes and COVID safe too. We do feel Vi made the tour and we really enjoyed it.
We enjoyed the Hoi An food tour very much. The guides drove carefully though the town and we felt very safe. Gom and her guys, had very good knowledge about all the good food and the history of food, coffee , how its made. We enjoyed very much the dinner with all of them Thank you ❤️
Wow! What an amazing tour with Gum! My husband and I did a bicycle food tour with her in Hoi An and the experience was nothing short of amazing. To start, Gum is just the best! She is sweet, funny and genuine and we were both instantly charmed by her. She made sure we were safe on our bikes the entire time and was extremely mindful of my shellfish allergy, ensuring that everything I was served was shellfish-free. She made us feel completely safe and looked after. Gum took us on an unforgettable journey tasting some of the best hidden gems that Hoi An has to offer! We felt like complete locals eating in places that were straight out of people’s kitchens. It felt like such an authentic experience and I couldn’t recommend this tour enough! Honestly, any tour with Gum for that matter would probably be fantastic! We felt like old friends with her by the end. She truly made our honeymoon to Vietnam extra special!
I joined this tour 6 years ago. It was so memorable I brought my husband back to Hoian for the same tour 6 years later, and it did not disappoint! Lovely tour guides Emma and Krystal, who opened our eyes to a different side of Hoian we would not have discovered on our own. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Gum and the squad were amazing during the entire tour. They were all so engaging and considerate. The food was amazing and it was a great way to explore the local culture! Definitely recommend!
Our group is really in to taking food tours of new cities we travel and this has been our favorite food tour by far!! We appreciated how this was a mixture of what’s popular with tourists and what’s popular with the locals to eat. Plus, our tour guide Gum and her team were awesome!! We learned so much about the area and had the best time talking to all of them. If you could request for Gum as your tour guide, do it!
Highly recommend the motorbike food tour of Hoi An! We learned so much, all of the girls leading the tour were amazing, super fun and knowledgeable. They were even able to accommodate my vegetarian lifestyle, left really feeling like we learned the street food scene in Vietnam.
Moved on from Saigon to Hoi an. This time instead of booking the private motorbike tour as the last thing to do it was the first thing we booked. This was to help get our barings as we were only there for 4 nights. Our tour guides were two best mates Emma and Christine. I think we had more than a dozen tasting experiences and a visit to a vegetable farm. That short journey alone had a highlight in it ,seeing water buffalow in the rice fields something that we had not seen before close up. If you have an open mind on food and willing to try almost anything you will have a great time and taste some wonderful food whether its the dumplings in the white rose or pancakes in the street. The important thing on this trip to get the value is to starve yourself until pick up time. We were collected at 3pm . We had no breakfast or lunch and were bloody starving ,however that was a great decision. We finished around 8pm completley stuffed. Depending on your exchange rate it works out about £50 each and considering thats all we spent on food all day, saw alot of Hoi an , got loads of information on the culture from the girls ( whom were superb) and had a great laugh (eating the duck egg was fun ) , we think it is really good value and recommed it.
Firstly, thanks so much to our awesome guides. Gum, Kate, Crystal and Rosie were so sweet, accommodating, knowledgeable and fun. These girls rock! Me, my daughter (13 years old), my son (11 years old), and my wife (not allowed to disclose her age) had a mind blowing evening. We zoomed around the streets and alley ways of Old Town Hoi An on the backs of motorized scooters, visiting 7 eateries ranging from fancy restaurants to street food stalls on the footpath. The rain kicked in after the second restaurant, but that did nothing to dampen our enjoyment - what a ride! And a visit to the "farm" where we saw and learned about the production of local fruit and veg was very cool too. We never imagined eating in or visiting some of these establishments. This tour has changed the way we see Vietnam and opened our minds to new culinary possibilities. Highly recommend!!!
I did this tour last week in Hoi An led by Jackie (and joined by Christine/Sophie, Bruce and Barry). Our group of five had a wonderful time riding motorbikes for the first time, sampling local cuisine and talking to our tour guides about the city! The visit to the organic farm and seeing the local lifestyle was also really special. This was the highlight of our trip to Hoi An!
Five of us did the motorbike food tour in the afternoon/evening, led by Jackie. The guides were young, friendly, knowledgable, enthusiastic, and spoke excellent English. All of the food was great, as was the visit to the vegetable village, and we really enjoyed talking to the guides about topics ranging from the Vietnamese university system to government ownership of land. We felt very safe on the motorbikes, and they allowed us to see many parts of the town and the countryside in a fairly short tour. This was a highlight of our trip to Hoi An - highly recommended!
Did this tour with Emma and Sumo as our drivers and had the BEST time. So much food (definitely have either an early/no lunch). All of the food was so fresh and all delicious and none of it I would have been able to find by myself. Emma and Sumo were both so lovely and so knowledgeable of all the places we went. The trip out to the farm was also a highlight. Would definitely book again.
The street food they brought us to were all very yummy. It was even better than some of the restaurant food we have tasted. These places were hard to find, we would not have patronise these vendors if we had walked on our own. Did I say we almost an an exploding belly at the end of the tour? It was a full portion of every dish we tasted and the best in my list is the Banh Mi... amazing stuff. Kudos to Jackie, our tour leader! She and her team of guides were great. They are such a wonderful bunch of youths who are passionate about their culture and took time to explain the history of their food culture. Among them were students who worked as part-time guide so that they can fund their way to further studies. I must say that they have great attitudes.
Absolutely outstanding evening fantastic guides well worth the trip. 4 hrs of food go hungry as there is a huge amount of food
Emma and Barry were our guides and they both did a fantastic job of allowing us to experience some of their favourite street food locations. From sitting in a second generation noodle soup vendor’s house and sampling amazing Bahn Mi and duck eggs(I wasn’t brave enough) to spending time in a community farming area(the tour highlight for me). The whole experience was amazing and definitely worth doing on the scooter as you get to see so much more of the city. Don’t worry about the scooter part, it was super easy and at no time did my wife and I feel anything but safe. Two thumbs up to our new mates, Em and Bazza.
