Tony (driver) was great! He was very communicative and helpful. Even thought it was hot outside and nowhere had AC, he offered waters and a laugh, so did the individual locations. Our 17 year old daughter enjoyed each activity (lantern making, pottery, lunch and coffee making). Our favorite was the lanterns but Lang(unk spelling) that owns the coffee location (I think she does basket rides too) was extremely nice and had wonderful stories. 💕Thank you to everyone that helped make this tour great!

Loved everything about this experience! All the people were wonderful too. Would definitely recommend this to family and friends
We had a lovely half day, starting at 9:00am with pick up from our hotel. From there we went with Tony in a private car to the pottery village, which was really interesting and in a beautiful village. We used the pottery wheel, and tried the blind pottery smashing at the museum. From there, Tony took us to the coconut boat, where we had an hour ride, we got to try the fast boat spinning and we did a bit of fishing for crabs. We finished the morning making Vietnamese coffee, which we will certainly be recreating when we get home, it was really tasty! Tony and his team were friendly and easy to communicate with for the whole experience. I’d really recommend to anyone staying in Hoi An.
Had a lovely time learning about the pottery of Hoi An. Pottery museum is a must see and i had a lovely time on the river catching fish and crabs. To finish off i was taught how to make Vietnamese coffee and had a lovely meal. A very informative way to spend a morning.
We had a great time. It was just long enough in the hot sun. Our driver, Ben was great, lantern making and pottery also. Had the best fun on the boats.
Great day. Hay was great who was our guide. Loved the lantern making and the coconut boat men are great.
Excellent boat trip to the coconut village. Our 2 boatmen were all enthusiastic and did their work very well. Highly recommend this tour
Very Nice and fun, great for couples but also bigger groups. Great driver (Tony). I would definitely recommend this!!!
Coffee making basic but good. Boat ride was nice we went fishing too. Ceramics (the reason we did this) was terrible not even 5 min, no info nor history then rushed to shop and demanded we buy things.
Excellent trip, well worth doing when in the area. Food was exceptional and boat trip fun. Nice to learn about Vietnamese coffee and to try your hand at pottery.
We had so much fun! This tour with Tony and Lan was AMAZING! Seriously, this tour was incredible and totally deserves those five stars! Our driver, Tony, picked us up right on time at our hotel lobby, messaging as soon as he arrived. From the get-go, we knew it was going to be a fun day. One of the coolest parts was learning how to make ceramics with a wonderful craftswoman. It was so much fun (and way harder than it looks! I totally ruined it at first!), and we even got to take home our masterpieces (read: cups, as simple as it gets) as souvenirs. We got to make our own lanterns out of bamboo and silk (under the eyes of another skilled craftswoman, who made sure we didn't mess up too badly!). We were taught how to make them, fold them properly for storage, and set them up again. Then, we got to ride a buffalo through the super muddy fields in the rain, but it was so much fun! Such a gentle and chill animal, too! At our last stop, Lan patiently taught us how to make Vietnamese coffee, which is sooo good! The best part of the afternoon, though? Definitely exploring the coconut forest in bamboo basket boats. It was like something out of a movie, and we even got to see how the locals fish with nets and stuff. We also got to try putting out our own net (and caught one fish!), and caught a crab with a piece of chicken on a string. After all that fun, we got treated to a feast of local food made by our amazing host. It was all fresh, super tasty, and the perfect way to refuel before heading back. Seriously, this tour was unforgettable! It had everything - culture, beautiful scenery, and amazing food. Tony, our driver, made sure everything ran smoothly, and Lan's friendliness and knowledge made the whole day even better. This tour is totally worth the money and a must-do for anyone visiting Hoi An!
Tony was my guide, he was professional, on time (early) and humorous. Tony was flexible and good with customising the trip (I didn't take the boat because of motion sickness). Was a great part of my trip to Hoi An
Well worth it! Enjoyed the pottery and lantern making as well as the coconut boat ride, which was fun! Lunch was delicious@
Mr Giang was a great guide and driver! The trip was well worth it! We enjoyed the pottery and lantern making! We had a nice lunch in the garden on return from our coconut boat ride. Recommended this trip.
We had a great time walking through the pottery village, making pottery, riding the buffalo, a basket tour, fishing/crabbing, and a delicious traditional Vietnamese lunch! I highly recommend booking this as a half-day tour, as you get to do so much in a short duration of time! It was one of our favorite days so far!!!! :)
I really enjoyed my time at the Pottery Village and the Basket Boats at Coconut Village. Tony is an excellent and very kind guide. I was expecting a bit more time at the Pottery Village but it was fun to make a small pot. I also got some lovely souvenirs. The Coconut Village experience with the Basket Boats is not to be missed. And you top it off with a very tasty serve of Cau Lau noodles. One of the reasons I picked this tour because it was accessible to all. I have a back injury and I was really pleased to have a basket boat rower who matches my energy levels. This was the case with Tony too. Thank you for a fun afternoon!
We had a great afternoon visiting the pottery village and doing bamboo basket boat tours at the water palm village. We received excellent service from the driver Toan and Mr. Dung at Hoi An Basket Boat Tours, who was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable throughout.
They were super hosts. The tour was awesome and the lady was super happy to take us anywhere. After we ate at their local some Vietnamese food which was also amazing. 10/10
We were picked up from the hotel and taken to the water, everything worked out well and our boater was very nice! I highly recommend it.
