It’s a fun activity a must do in Hoi an. Picked up at the hotel and transferred to boat . English speaking guide on boat . Takes photos of you. Asked for slow spin in boat then transferred back to hotel. Couldn’t ask for a better service.
The experience was amazing. The people there were very accommodating as we kept changing our boat times. They were supportive and made me feel very comfortable. The person driving the boat was super cute and took tons of pictures for us. I wished I knew about the additional things they did (for tips). I would be fine if they written it on the description, so I was mentally aware. Overall though, the experience was fine and I still participating in the boat spinning (which gives a killer headache, but worth the experience). The hotel pick up was clutch, but keep in mind that it's only paid for one way, not round trip.
So much fun ! Everyone was so happy . You have the choice to go in the boat ride it cost about 100000dong per person . Worth it if you like rides and a different experience .

We joined the Basket Boat tour after cycling out to the countryside with our hotel guide. It was so much fun and held more than a few surprises. Great to get u close to the coconut trees and see the flowers & fruit. We saw a few crabs too!
Excellent tour organisation (Tin Basket) and communication. Emailed one day before and arranged for pick up time from the hotel (included service). Driver turned up at exactly 10 am. Our basket boat guide was excellent. Very communicative and easy going. Google Translate is a must, it made explanations so much easier and fun. A return service was also included and we asked the driver to drop us at Old Town, no problems at all. Highly recommended if you want a well organised basket boat tour.
There were 2 tours that offered the Basket Boat experience. I booked the one that offered a hotel pickup as opposed to one that didn't. When I received my booking confirmation, I realized there wasn't a pickup time listed. I called a number on the confirmation and a woman answered asking me when I wanted to be picked up. I gave her a time and she said she would come on a motorbike. An alarm bell went off and I called back a little later and said I wouldn't be going. There may have been a misunderstanding due to the language barrier, but it just felt too risky for me.
Great experience from pickup til drop off. Our boat operator also gave us a mini crab fishing experience towards the end. Restaurant waiters are friendly, gave us couple of bonus fruits and snacks for free as well! Definitely recommend.
This was an excellent experience. We were treated to a ride in a basket boat around the waterways in Coconut Village in Hoi An. We were given a Vietnamese hat and a life jacket to wear. We saw lots of other similar and different types of boats. The lady who rowed us showed us coconut trees, let us have a go at crab fishing and took photos of us and suggested good photo opportunities, such as a fisherman casting his net. We were given a bottle of cold water and were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. We would recommend this experience
Great day from start to finish. Pickup on time everyone was very happy and helpful. For the price you can’t go wrong it was great fun and also lovely floating through the forest highly recommended.
Outstanding Basket Tour with a very nice host. Tin makes it interesting for everyone and gives a proper tour. The price is a bit high but it includes the price of entry fee as well. Tin also gave us a free Coconut just to chill and relax in the end.
Really good experience - our guy was super funny and spoke English. Definitely the cheapest out of all the companies that operate.

My friend and I had a great time on this trip. The host was very helpful. They picked us up from our hotel and brought us straight to the boats. The experience was really fun and was lovely exploring the local waterways.
Awful, tacky, wasting of time and money. Cheap circus!!! On top of that they were asking for tips! Me and my husband are really disappointed !
Went here but didn't purchase tickets before hand. Was completely taken for a ride. Ripped off a young women charged us 1,500,000 VND for 3 people. The experience was enjoyable but spoiled by this. Perhaps it wouldn't have been better a ticket desk so people know what the price is.
Pickup was prompt and the car ride was comfortable. We were then given lifejackets, drinking water, straw hats and then we boarded the coconut boat. It was a really great experience. We got a discount for the "high speed spin" which is a must. Finally we did some crab fishing and then returned to the same spot where we boarded. Drop to the hotel was paid.
We had a wonderful time and a fun experience riding the coconut boat. Also transport was very convenient. For sure recommended. Enjoy!
Great fun on the river in the round bamboo boats. Life jackets and hats plus umbrellas and water provided. Collected and delivered to the hotel. Everyone enjoyed it from our 6year old teenagers and us! Thanks to Tin and out boat captain Trung!
We had such a good time here in this little tour ! We rode with the mom and she’s 70 years strong ! They have an option where they can pick you up from your hotel or you can meet them at the port. They open up a fresh coconut after the tour which is once and refreshing. Their whole family is such a lovely one and we are glad to have went out with them. The mom knew all the perfect photo spots and offered to take more than we are even used too hehe they have other photographers out there that will take and print souvenir size photos for you and of course the option of spinning in a basket boat to Gangnam style by psy aha it’s a such ride but long enough that you see everything and not bake in the sun so we enjoyed it !
Can pick you up/ drop off from the hotel if needed, super easy to contact via whatsapp, super friendly, great price, beautiful tour, go to peaceful part as well as music area! Loved it, 10/10!

A great little tour and great value for money! We paid 130k (VND) each which included the entrance fee, a lot cheaper than the other tours. We were all given a bottle of water on arrival too. The tour was great fun with all staff being very friendly and happy to help, a great atmosphere and very cool experience! They also offered a coconut at the end too, which was also included in the price (we think)! Would definitely recommend Tin Basket!
Had a great time in the sun, we tried crabbing, saw local fishermen to trying the spinning dancing in the boat. Really recommend this company, they pick you up and can drop you back. Had a great time.
I messaged the Tour operator at 10pm for a tour the next morning. She responded immediately and organised our pick up for 8am from the hotel. Fantastic service. Relaxed and very local vibe in a high tourist area. Great price and service. Highly recommend.

Thank goodness for our hotel who contacted the operator when they didn’t pick us up! They had forgotten our booking! Pick up was included - but not the return to our hotel. Other than that it was an interesting experience, especially the clever guy spinning in his boat then collecting tips on the (wet) oar.

Wonderful tour today! Friendly tour guide who explained the coconut forest to us. Lots of photo opportunities. Enjoyed crabbing even though I’m not very good at it 😂 Organized transport to and from our hotel! They even provided us a fresh coconut after our tour!

Can't recommend this company enough! We were cycling from town to get a basket boat and Trang a lovely lady gave me her card and showed us where her boats were. It was a long good ride and and our captain man was so helpful taking pics spinning us and helping us catch a crab or 3 😁 such good pice too !
The was a great host, very upfront about how much it cost and didn’t try and scam you, the business has been in her family for over 90 years. We sailed around the lake on the coconut boat and then stopped to catch some crabs which was fun. Would highly recommend this boat tour.

Very nice and fun tour. We recommend it. The lady who rowed the coconut encouraged the trip by making it more comfortable and took photos to carry them as a souvenir on our tour.
They arranged to pick up us from our central hotel at a time convenient to our schedule. Activity well organised and no waiting, despite large groups on the water. Our boatman took us down quiet canals between the water coconut trees. We had a small group show by the spinning boat rather than having to join the larger groups. They then arranged a taxi to take us to the nearby beach after the activity .
Lovely trip along the quiet waterways before joining the music and fun watching the boat spinners. A great morning out for a very cheap price.
It would be very scenic if not full of tourists who want full blast karaoke 'Gangnam Style" in the middle of the river. If you are lucky, the paddler will take you "off-piste"away from the noise. On the island there are some interesting stalls/displays but they are crowded.
Family owned business, not bad for a small trip. 2 ppl per boat, so 3 of us got two boats. If you have small children , it seems from other providers, they allow a parents to be with 2 children (toddlers are with both parents). Crabs aren't easy to catch, but you do see a few of them :) Pick up from hoai an was provided, the ride was gentle. The toilet was in the back of owners house; basic but clean (remember to bring your own toilet paper).

Most passionate tour guide ever. Our tour was given by the owner himself. He was very enthusiastic about what he does and about his country as a whole. Hearing him talk about how the history of the attraction made me appreciate it even more. He goes into details about how he does the same tour everyday but still loves what he does. It was so refreshing to be on a great tour with a great guide. I would visit him just to hang out with him. Would come again.
We had an amazing time getting to ride through the beautiful coconut trees. Vu was incredible from beginning to end, making us feel welcome, while informing us about the history of the area and his business. We had a beautiful ride, a chance to crab fish, and ride a spinning coconut boat! I recommended this fun and beautiful activity for couples and families!
