Our tour guide was Quy, who was great with information about the areas we visited, happy to answer any questions, patient with our energetic boys and helped us with recommendations for shopping places. We strolled around Hoi An at a leisurely pace. It was recommended that Hoi A be done first due to the traffic and heat and although we were ok with this, it did mean that we didn’t get to experience the night markets and the theatre that was mentioned in the itinerary. The Basket boats were very touristy and I don’t believe how they were explained in the itinerary is what we did. My boys were disappointed about the fishing component as they got small fishing implements in the last 5 minutes of the basket boat ride, again not how it was described. The cooking class was great and we all thoroughly enjoyed this component of the tour. Lunch between what we had cooked and extra that was provided was tasty and very filling. Lastly the lantern making was a fun activity. It was slightly disappointing that the itinerary was not as described but the day was still enjoyable as a whole and our guide was great.

Hao and his tour company are just exceptional. He came early to our hotel to pick us up in a brand new air conditioned SUV with driver. We went to the Marble Mountains and Hao seems to know every nook and cranny of this attraction! He took great photos with of us here. Then we went to a water coconut farm where we got a very nice foot massage, cooked Viatnamese dishes which we enjoyed for lunch with other dishes. Finally we had a 3/4 hr boat ride in the infamous round wooden boats. Our boatwoman was a hoot. We went to a silk factory to briefly see how silk is made and then made our own lanterns. Finally we went to Hoi A where we walked around this historic town, entered temples and a Chinese trader’s house, and enjoyed bahn mi at a restaurant popularized by Anthony Bourdain. Hao was a terrific and highly experienced guide. His English communication skills are outstanding. He was also very intuituve in knowing when we needed a break or sending we wanted to move along etc. He bought us rice paper rolls in the market to bring home and really attended to us. We would definitely tour with Hao again!
Our family took a day trip to Hoi A with Mr Truong and Mr Tai, which was fantastic. From the bamboo boat and cooking experience to the tour through Ancient city, we had a wonderful time and learned a lot. Visiting Hai Van pass on the way was a highlight.
I kicked off 2026 with a day trip to My Son and Hoi An from Danang. This is a private and personalised day trip. Mr Vinh, my friendly and knowledgeable tour buddy, guided me through the history, key highlights and lesser-known facts for both places. He is also extremely pleasant and accommodating, ensuring the tour is tailored to my travel style. We started at 11 am, and Mr Hung (responsible for driving us) turned up on time with Mr Vinh. We visited My Son and proceeded to Hoi An, just in time for lunch. We spent the afternoon enjoying the city from noon until evening, just in time to see Hoi An come to life with the spectacular lanterns on full display. The trip felt easy, safe and very enjoyable. Mr Hung drove us back to Da Nang safely at 7:30 pm. A special thank you to Ms Gia Linh, the travel expert who made it all happen.
The tour we had with Mr. Tran was wonderful - we learnt so much from him about the history and culture around Hoi An, and was so welcoming of questions. We had a bike tour and cooking class with this company, which was an amazing experience, and let me see Hoi An in a whole new light. A truly wonderful experience, helped by the wonderful guide.
We had a half day tour through the old city of Hoi An. Our guide Mr Thinh was funny, charming and very knowledgable to put us quickly into the picture of the history
We had a Jeep Tour today and absolutely loved it!! We've tried some local activities like rice paper making and wood engraving 😁
We had a wonderful time on our Da Nang tour yesterday. Our driver, Mr. Hao, and our tour guide, Mr. Quy, both made sure that we were comfortable and relaxed throughout the day. Mr. Quy was very informative in describing the sites and explaining how they pertain to the culture and history of Vietnam. Lunch was great, and we were made to feel like we were hanging out with family. Marble Mountain, Lady Budda, and Hoi An Ancient City are all amazing to visit and great photo opportunities. We strongly recommend this tour.
Ms Linh was superorganized our tour from Chan May Cruise Port. On one day we did Hoi An and Ba Na Hills. The driver, Hau was fantastic. Thank you.
we did this tour on a cruise stop and it was 100% worth it! We had Hao as our driver and Lyly as our guide and both were excellent!! We were able to completely customize our day based on timing needs and even got to make some extra stops for pictures and coffee.
Awesome!! We did book a private transfer for Ba Na Hills, Lady Buddha and Dragon Bridge in Danang. Hau was our driver and he was super friendly, sometimes also stopping just for us to take pictures of interesting things. He also asked if we wanted to have lunch and brought us to a super nice and delicious restaurant. Car was a Kia SUV, very comfortable and great A/C. Hau also provided water bottles throughout the day. Today, we did the Hoi An countryside tour again with Hau as our driver and Sinh as our tourguide. It was great fun! We got to see a lot of Hoi An, the coconut forest and made our own lanterns. Sinh speaks English very well, was friendly at all times and also took pictures for us. Both days were great and Hau was on time! Also tge booking process was super easy and they sent an email with driver, vehicle and phone number information both evenings before the tours. A big thank you to Hau and Sinh!
I highly recommend Culture Pham Tours. They arranged all my trips in Da Nang and Hue. They are responsive, prompt and reliable. Our drivers were all punctual and helpful. Our guide to Hoi An and My Son Sanctuary was hugely impressive, Mr Thinh. He was knowledgeable and accommodating. Please ask for him when doing this tour. We also did a countryside cycling tour in Hue which my teenage kids enjoyed tremendously (guide was Mr Hoa).
It was an amazing experience with a lot of great memories. We did the Hoian basket boat rides, fishing crabs, cooking class and lantern making experience. Our tour guide was so experienced and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all our questions and gave us an insight of Hoian. Highly recommended
Very good driver...always ready with fresh water when we arrived at the car...we always send a message just before our arrival so Mr Hua could put on the airco of the car... we would hardly recommand this driver to anybody who need a driver in the surrounding of Da Nang.
We knew our guide Mr Thinh in Hoi An through Vietnam Culture Pham. He is very professional and takes pride in his work and culture. Mr Thinh is very patient and considerate towards my family with elderly parents. I will highly recommend anyone to get him as your guide.
We had a fantastic time and Hau was a great guide. We went on two tours with him, and he picked us up right on time from the airport, and once from our hotel, took us to some great views, the marble mountain (a must see) and some souvenir stores and a great tailor. A great tour amd friendly, trustworthy guide.
Today we were picked up by our amazing driver Mr Hau and taken on an amazing drive from Lang Co to Hoi An along the mountain road stopping many times for photos. This was amazing as we had always been taken through the tunnel previously. We then met our awsome tour guide Mr Thinh who did a half day tour of Hoi An as we had our flight home in the afternoon. His tour was awsome and he even took us to Hoi An's best Bah Mi shop and yes it was amazing. Thank you to Mr Hau and Mr Thinh for making our last day in Vietnam the best. I cannot recommend this tour company enough they made our first trip to Vietnam one we will never forget and have the best drivers and tour guides we have ever had
I am grateful to have had Mr Sinh as my driver. He took me to Marble Mountain and Hoi An and was great with taking me to local locations and accomodating all my specific requests. English was good. Very kind. Vehicle perfectly clean. Would recommend to anyone
We had a wonderful trip to Hoi An, an ancient town in Central Vietnam. Thanks to our knowledgable local tour guide, Mr. Thinh, we learned a lot about the history and beauty of this once flourished port city during the 16th - 19th century, where Japanese, Chinese and European merchants met and exchanged goods. We also learned about the sad incident that, as climate change took place, the sea level turned low and big ships could no longer enter its harbour. As a result, Hoi An was sadly left behind and forgotten for a long time, until it was rediscovered for tourism recently. In 1999, it was recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage, which needs to be restored and reserved. Strolling down the small streets of Hoi An, I could feel the beauty of the remnants and the touch of time. Also on this trip, we visited a fisherman's house in the countryside of Hoi An, where we went on a basket boat tour, enjoyed the landscape and learned to cook some Vietnamese foods. It was a good chance for uns to get in touch with local people and learn about their lives. As we listened to their stories, our hearts were open and we could sympathize with their hardships. It was a meaningful experience for all of us, which we're very grateful for.
We are travelling on a private tour as a family of 5 adults. My family love this trip especially the bowl ride! The boat man are friendly and it was like a party when all bowls gathered at a assembly area. Then after we attend a cooking class which was fun too! We were guided by Mr Thinh (Tin Tin) and he brought us to Hoi-an ancient town tour. It's been ample times that I visited Hoi-an, but I must say Tin Tin is the one that really explains the details and outlook of town beautifully. (note: Japanese bridge is under-renovation at the time of our visit Jun23) Highly recommended day trip
Mr. Thinh was a SPECTACULAR tour guide!!! He is very knowledgeable, super funny, and a great photographer. He's extremely passionate about his job and makes sure you are having a good time while meeting your wants/needs. Highly highly recommend tours by him, you will have a great time and make many memories to remember. He definitely was a highlight of our trip to Vietnam!

Quy was a fabulous host. We learnt a lot about Vietnam and Da Nang and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. Mr Hoa was very responsive and helpful.
Had an amazing experience. The company customized the complete vietnam trip based on our preferences and the service they provided was mind blowing
We embarked on a morning tour which lasted 4 hours. We were picked up and driven to start the day on a basket boat ride, which was so much fun. The kids had a great time and we enjoyed our tour guide who spoke perfect English, Quan, who also narrated the history to us. The ride took us out to the main river. Thereafter, we were then given an opportunity to participate in a cooking class, which, of course, was followed by a tasty and sumptuous lunch. We had a foot massage with local herbs, to end the tour. Overall, it was great relaxation. We all had about 20mins each. The family that hosted us was really nice and it was just great to see them all happy and they made us feel special. Definitely worth doing this tour!
It was such a great day tour to explore the green and peaceful countryside of Hoian and learned about the daily local life. Our tour guide Mr. Quan was very knowledgeable and friendly. We did the Hoian basket boat ride to go fishing crabs with the locals. A cooking class and a food massage were included in the tour price. It was a bit expensive for me but it is really worth any pennies to enjoy this great tour. Highly recommend this tour.
Fantastic day to explore Hoi An ancient town and its peaceful countryside. Our local guide Wuan was very informative and thoughtful. He gave us a lot of interesting information about daily local life, their culture, fish catching methods as well as how to make Hoi An lanterns. Lunch was great and included in the tour price. Our kids love the basket boat rides and the cooking class so much. It was such a great memory for us in central Vietnam. Thank you..
We did the Hoian Ancient Town And Countryside Tour Full Day during Tet, and my family loved it! The tour guide was super professional and went out of his way to make sure we had a unique and enjoyable experience! The tour was amazing. I would recommend to anyone visiting Hoi An.

We liked the tour because it is covered the ancient town but also the beautiful countryside. We love the cooking class and the basket boat rides. It was great and fun. We like Culture Pham Travel and the tour guide. Excellent service and they took care us and support us at anytime we need even they gave us some information and recommendations in the next destination. Would recommend my friends if they visit Hoi An.
We booked a private tour to visit Hoi An ancient town, countryside and the temple ruins of My Son. We started with a ride on a basket boat in a small fishing village near Hoi An and learned how to catch fish and crabs. After enjoying a foot massage we had a cooking class where we learned how to make spring rolls and fried vietnamese pancakes. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at a local family‘s house. After lunch our driver took us to the temple ruins of My Son where our excellent speaking guide Quân told us a lot of interesting facts. We wanted to return to Hoi An early so Quân could show us Hoi An ancient town. It was a really great day! We can highly recommend booking that tour with Quân!
My wife and me came to Hoi An in a sunny day and we would like to see both. Hoi An ancient and the basket boat. Read some information about this tour and we booked this. We didn't expect the quality of the tour too much but it was a really fabulous tour. Our local tour guide was Mr. Quan. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. He was very flexible for us to customize the tour. He cared very much about our food allergies and help us a lots. We did the basket boat rides, being the local master Chef. We got the best foot massage from the locals as well. What about Hoi An? It was so beautiful and romantic with beautiful lanterns and beautiful architecture! Couldn't recommend enough for the best service from this travel agency. We will use them again!
We planned our trip to Vietnam, and used the tour guide services of Culture Pham. From the moment we met, to the time we departed, we enjoyed hearing about the history and people who make Vietnam such a warm and friendly country to visit. Culture provided us both with opportunities to sample local delicacies which were not sold in the local restaurants, which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was a great pleasure to meet and share the company of Culture during our tour of Vietnam. We most certainly look forward to seeing soon.
We were very pleased with the tour. Specifically our guide, Mr. Duy Linh was very intentional. We did everything we asked . We recommend a tour Recommendation. Make sure it’s in the evening.
We (3 friends) had only one day in Hoi An and wanted to learn as much as possible about the history and local culture. Quân responded superbly to our wishes and turned the tour upside down. Since we didn't want to start too early. We started with the wicker messengers and were allowed to fish crabs ourselves, which we then released back into freedom. After the boat tour and before the cooking class there was a foot massage to relax. The prepared spring rolls and rice pancakes were super delicious followed by more great food. Then we went to My Son, The ancient Hindu tombs, which were partly destroyed by bombs in the Vietnam War. Afterwards he gave us a little tour of the old town and told us a lot about the history of the city. Quân is a super warm person who likes to share his knowledge with a lot of wit and charm. Next time gladly with him again. Thanks for the great time.
